CHAPTER 235: 235:THIS TIME,

The maids stood there panicking. They were all shocked while they watched the Queen pace around the room, running a hand through her hair like a mad man.

"What was that?!" she demanded as she finally stood still. Queen Lea looked around as if she knew what she was looking for. "Who did that? What was that?!"

Something had poured all over her. The tea. And she was certain about it. But she couldn’t tell who was behind it.

She looked at Queen Elizabeth who had gotten up on her and moved backwards. She too was shocked about what was happening right before their eyes.

Queen Lea was more shocked. She had poured tea at Queen Elizabeth, but nothing got to her. Her face and all was still intact. But rather the tea had poured all over her instead!

"You... what did you do?!" she demanded.

Queen Elizabeth was confused. "What do you mean?"

"Did you use some sorcery or what? How..? What!" She panicked as she walked up to Queen Elizabeth. "What did you do?"

Queen Elizabeth stared at her, confused. "I don’t know what you’re talking about..." she insisted.

And in that moment, Queen Lea slowly turned and looked around. She could feel shivers down her spine as she thought about what could have happened.

Something out of the ordinary happened. And she was sure about it. But she couldn’t tell what it was. At all.

"Who’s there...?" Queen Lea demanded, looking around. She was sure something was there. Or someone. "Who did that?!"

She began moving around the place like a man woman. Yelling at the air while demanding audience from something she wasn’t even sure of.

And in that moment, they all heard a voice laughing.

Everyone stiffened while looking around, shocked. Shivers ran down their spines as they stared around, hearing voices they couldn’t see. Someone was laughing. A male’s voice. And they didn’t have the faintest idea who it was...

And then, He appeared.

Eden appeared sitting down at a chair at a distance. His legs crossed while he stared at them with a smile. His smuggish smile resting on Queen Lea who was already losing it.

"You..." Queen Lea paused, staring in her direction.

He smiled, raising an eyebrow. "We meet again. And I fear not in the most pleasant way possible."

She stood there staring at Eden. "And what do you think you’re doing here? What are you doing here?! Have you lost it?!"

Eden scuffed as he stared at Queen Elizabeth. "I should be asking you that question. What the hell do you even think you’re doing? Have you lost it completely?"

A maid there snapped. "Watch your mouth! You’re speaking to the Queen!"

Eden scuffed as she stared at her. "She should have watched her actions a bit better. Because I warned her." He stared at Queen Lea. "Stay away from anything relating to my person. But you didn’t listen, did you?"

Queen Elizabeth adjusted her attire and all, trying to look calm. "You really are growing some wings here. Who do you even think you are? Don’t you know I could destroy you if I wanted?! Don’t you know I’m your Queen?!"

He smiled. "No. You can’t even if wanted. You’ve tried but got nothing. Remember?"

Queen Lea scuffed. "You—"

Eden didn’t let her finish but snapped. "The audacity of a second wife, a concubine, to think themselves a Queen. And threat the first Queen as they please..."

He paused and stared at Queen Lea. "What the hell do you even feel like?"

"How dare you call me a concubine...?"

"Because that’s what you are." Eden’s expression was cold. His smile was even colder and rooted in fury. It was obvious he had had enough of her. He was simply disgusted.

He continued. "And now you’re even waking down on the Queen for your glory? Don’t you feel pathetic at all?"

"You should mind your building you pathetic wizard. Your end is already closer than you think, so don’t act so cocky!" She snapped.

Eden laughed. "You always says that and I end up living longer. At this point, your kingdom and its glory shall fall and I’m in intact."

He said as he slowly got up to his feet. "Plus, you are the one who’s not minding your business. I warned you to stay away from my people. And you don’t seem to be paying attention. So now, what do you think I should do with you?" He placed both hands behind his back.

Queen Lea was shocked. "You monster. How dare you talk to me like that at all.."

"I can speak to you however I want." He said. His expression cold. "And I can do with you whatever I want." he said as his eyes flashed.

A purple light flashed through his eyes as an invisible hand grabbed Queen Lea by the neck and pulled her up, off her feet.

Choking, coughing and kicking, she was in the air. An invisible hand gripping her neck while she struggled. "Get... Let me go...you ..!"

She struggled but no avail. And soon, Eden blinked. She flew off and landed hard on the table. "You.." she coughed. "How dare you?!"

Eden sighed with both hands behind him. The maids there were already terrified at what they were watching. Even Queen Elizabeth was shocked. But they couldn’t do anything. He was the wizard of EL after all.

"It seems that sometimes you forgot that I killed people." Eden questioned as he stared at the Queen who got down from her bed, now standing. "And you keep forgetting that I can also do the same for you..."

"You...I’m the Queen! You can’t disrespect me like this!" Queen Lea snapped.

But Eden’s expression was simply cold. Murderous. The playful Eden that came to warn him before was nowhere.

"She is your Queen. And you should give her that respect." He said. "Don’t you ever think of doing this again, unless I’ll make sure I make you pay with physical pain. One worse than death."

Shivers ran down Queen Lea’s body as she listened to Eden. Those threats were true and she was sure of it.
