[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel
Chapter 240: Eliminate him
CHAPTER 240: 240: ELIMINATE HIM
King Edward had summoned the Grand Priest of Elzager.
In his dining room, King Edward sat down in his seat and the priest sat down opposite him. Before them, the table was filled with meals and drinks. The guards stood at the side, not listening to the conversation between them.
"How did it go?" King Edward questioned. "You didn’t report back immediately. I’m curious to know what development was made."
The priest kept his calm. "Nothing," he stared at the king. "Nothing happened."
King Edward stared at him. "And what does that mean?"
"He’s smart," the priest said. "So he’s clearly not falling for whatever I say. Besides, we didn’t have such a pretty past. So I don’t expect him to come running to me. Do I?"
King Edward stared at him for a while, his expression calm and cold. And then he smiled. "Right? I thought as much. It’d take some time to get to him."
The priest didn’t wish to tell him about what he suspected. He suspected that this wizard of EL didn’t really recall anything from the past. Or was pretending not to.
He wasn’t so sure yet, but he simply was suspicious.
"Don’t worry. I’m working on it. By the day of the engagement, I should end it," the priest said confidently. "But then I’ll make sure I bring the wizard of EL to an end as you instructed," he stared at the king. "And that should be the end of our collaboration. Right?"
King Edward smiled while sipping wine from a golden cup. "Whatever you say. Just make sure you end him and your secret will be safe with me. That’s all I need. Even if you do it on the day of the engagement."
The priest nodded. "Then rest assured."

The priest of Elzager was done with his meal with the king, and so he retired to his assigned chamber that night.
He spent his time pacing around his room back and forth. Endless thoughts running through his mind.
He couldn’t help but think about Felix. Couldn’t help but think about why he was here and what he was doing with the wizard of EL.
It wasn’t supposed to happen. He knew. They weren’t supposed to meet at all. And that was what he knew. But things certainly weren’t going his way at all.
His fear was coming true. And he knew he simply had to end the wizard of EL as soon as possible so he could stop it from growing.
That was his aim now.
But on the other hand, he couldn’t help but think about the wizard of EL. He was acting suspicious. He was somewhat different from the Lyeian he knew years ago. But then again, he figured he couldn’t predict a devil like him.
He couldn’t underestimate him at all.
All he had to do was end him.
The priest walked up to the table there and waved his hand over the table. Green dust glittered and then a green box appeared on the table.
He stared at the box for a while before opening it. And when he did open it, he picked up the little green pearl that sat in it.
The priest stared at the green pearl for a while. Watching it glow from time to time. And then he took a deep breath and said.
"It’s been a long time since I used you, haven’t I? I never thought I would," He sighed. "But I guess desperate times call for desperate measures. So I’ll have to involve you in taking down the mistake I made years ago."

Eden was just done taking his bath. He was preparing to retire to bed when a knock came on his door.
He hesitated, wondering who it was. But he went to open it anyway.
He was rather surprised to see Lysander on the other end of the door. Standing tall with a smile.
"You?" Eden couldn’t hide the excitement in his face. He simply smiled back at him.
"Yes. It’s me. Let me in."
He didn’t hesitate. He let Lysander in and then closed the door. "What are you doing here? No, how did you get here? Wasn’t your mum monitoring you or something?"
Lysander went to drop a cup of drink on the table. "I tricked my way out to see you," Lysander turned to smile at him. "I missed you."
Eden couldn’t help but smile back. He had completely forgotten how much he actually did miss him. He was the only male lead or person who wasn’t stressing him out in this world, so staying around him was equivalent to him forgetting his worries.
And he needed that.
"Did you miss me?" Lysander smiled, walking to him.
Eden folded his arms. "Maybe? I don’t know?"
Lysander now stood before him. Tall. He stared down at Eden as he said, "Then kiss me. It’s been a while since I felt your lips, I might have forgotten how it tasted."
Eden stared up at him. "Is it me or have you gotten good at this these few days?" He smiled.
"Instead of studying as my mum demanded, I took my time going through endless romance novels. And learnt some stuff," He smiled, placing his hands around Eden’s waist and pulling him closer to himself.
Eden found his hands resting on Lysander’s chest as he stared into his eyes with a smile. His heart flustered against his wishes and he couldn’t help his cheeks flushing too.
"So? Can I?" Lysander asked.
Eden scoffed. "This is supposed to be my cue though."
"Is it?" Lysander said as he leaned in and pressed a kiss against Eden’s lips. A quick yet sweet kiss. Their lips pressing against each other for a short while. He broke off from the kiss as he stared into Eden’s face. "Well, I guess I’ll have to borrow your cue for the meantime."
Lysander smiled as he pressed in for a deeper kiss. His lips covering Eden’s as his tongue broke into his. Their mouths intertwined into a steamy kiss, their heads tilting from side to side.
It’s been a while since their lips met. It’s been a while since they met. And when they did, they’d forgotten how sweet it was.
