CHAPTER 262: 262: JUST A KISS, AND...

"I’m your father, so of course all I’ve done and all I’m doing is for your good. It has always been for you. So for once be logical and get out of my way so I can do my work!"

There were sharp gasps in the air while they stared at Felix and the priest.

It was a revelation. A revelation of the two being heavily related. Felix was the son of the great priest of Elzager. And they certainly didn’t see it coming, especially Eden.

"He has a son..?"

"That’s something else..."

"So what now..?"

"I wonder what’s going to happen now.."

People were discussing. Eden was simply speechless as he stared.

He tried putting the dots together. Wondering how they were related and how any of that had something to do with him.

He saw something like this coming. But being father and son? He certainly didn’t expect it.

Now he guessed he had to look into how their relationship had something to do with him. Or rather the Wizard of EL.

Felix laughed further. "None. Stop telling yourself that because it was never for me. Father, all you’ve done was for yourself!"

He continued, "And right now, all I’ll do will be for myself. I’ll try my best to protect all I can. I won’t let you take away anything from me ever again in the name of protecting me..."

He stood his ground while he stared at his father. He had his hand out as though he was about to attack the priest.

The priest stared at his son and couldn’t help but notice. "You have powers.." he was shocked. "How’s that possible...? How did you..?"

Felix scoffed. "Surprised? You always tried stopping me from getting it. But it’s too late. I already have my powers. And now I’ll use it to protect the one I want to protect."

The priest was speechless. "You fool! How can you... Don’t you know what you’re getting yourself into?!" He demanded, knowing that the wizard of EL was involved in him obtaining his powers.

This was exactly what he was avoiding. Exactly why he didn’t want Felix to meet with the wizard of EL. That’s why he was protecting his son. But he failed at it.

The priest opened his palms as green flames engulfed them. "You should stop this madness now and leave! Get out of here!"

He cast the green flames towards Felix, with the aim of sending him off. Brushing him off the place.

But Felix brought his hands up and shielded the priest’s flames with his power. A blue shield appeared and protected him from the flames.

It didn’t break through Felix’s powers. The priest saw that it couldn’t and he hated that fact. Hated that the power he had cultivated to take down Eden with couldn’t get through Felix.

"Stop this madness now! Stay away from all of this," the priest insisted, but Felix sent a blue wave back. One that brushed off the priest’s waves and sent him staggering backwards.

The priest gasped, staring at his son. He knew why he was getting powerful. He could tell how he was powerful at that moment. And he instantly stared at Eden who was behind. His murderous eyes on him.

"You monster, what have you done? Let go of my son," he snapped. But Eden said nothing.

Eden simply observed as the priest tried different tricks in taking down his son. In pushing him aside. But Felix stood his ground. Suddenly, his powers were invincible to the priest.

He counterattacked all tricks with his powers. His blue flames always sent the priest staggering backwards.

"You should give up, you can never walk past me," Felix said. "You should end this madness now."

The priest staggered up to his feet and stared at Felix. He was in disbelief. He still couldn’t believe what was happening. He couldn’t believe how his fears were coming through.

That which he had tried avoiding years ago was coming through right under his nose. And he couldn’t stop it anymore...

"This is it," Lenny said to Eden.

"What?" Eden asked in his mind.

"Felix is your answer," Lenny said. "He has the power you can use. All you have to do is kiss him, and you’ll gain it. The power you need to take down that priest."

"Really...?" Eden stared up at Felix standing before him. "Then I guess I’ll have to take my chances."

Before Lysander could understand what was happening, Eden got up from his feet and ran towards Felix.

It was an abrupt movement that left people confused. They simply watched as Eden ran towards Felix. And as soon as he arrived at where Felix was, he pulled him from behind.

Felix turned as Eden pulled him, and immediately, Eden stood on his toes and leaned in for a kiss.

His lips pressed against Felix as he closed his eyes. A blue and purple light suddenly erupted between their lips and soon began circulating around them.

The ladies around wanted to be shocked over the kiss. But as the light began flying around them, they didn’t have time. They immediately began taking shelter.

The priest glared at them. "No.. no... Stay away from my son.. no," the priest tried using his powers to tear them apart. But it backfired and he was sent flying backwards.

"What’s happening?" The king asked, confused. "What the hell is happening here?" He asked the priest.

The priest had managed to get up to his feet. "The wizard is getting more powerful..." He could only say.

Everyone watched in awe. Watching Eden and Felix kiss while blue and purple light roamed around them, sending colorful waves and sparks around.

It had gotten too bright that some even had to look away. But after a while, it slowly died down. And Felix had gone unconscious.

Felix slowly fell down to the side, unconscious. While Eden stood there alone. He stretched his neck and then his fingers as he slowly turned to stare at the great Priest of Elzager.
