CHAPTER 265: A LITTLE PRACTISE BETWEEN HUSBANDS

"D-Don’t we have to get up?" Cass was desperately grabbing at something, anything, to get out of this situation. Lucian scanned Cass’ body, his eyes molten in a way that Cass had seen before. Cass felt parts of him begin to stir, while other parts of him began to panic.

"Do you want to...get up? I can do that." Lucian murmured, his voice low and seductive. Edgar gave him a slow, knowing smile that had Cass flinching.

"It would be my pleasure to get you up and ready for the morning." Edgar purred, sliding a hand up Cass’ thigh over the sheets covering his lap.

Cass felt his head spin, unsure what he should do. What he could do.

"N-No. I don’t need that kind of getting up." Cass said, flustered, unsure. Both men on the other side paused, and Cass worried that they were going to force it. That they were going to do what they had done before.

Instead, Cass watched as both men’s expressions softened considerably, and Lucian chuckled.

"Well, if you don’t want to get up, can we get some practise in?" Lucian asked and Cass didn’t know what he was talking about.

"Practise? What kind of practise are you talking about?" Cass asked and Lucian’s gaze oh so slowly slid to Cass’ lips. Cass felt his mouth open in shock.

"Well, you aren’t used to deeper kisses, are you Cassian? How else are you supposed to get used to them without practise?" Lucian’s voice was a fucking vibration against his skin. A stroke against his nerves that he wasn’t expecting.

"I promise we’re great teachers. We’ll stop as soon as you say so." Edgar encouraged, and Cass slid his gaze to the handsome man who had stolen his first kiss. He winked at Cass and Cass felt his face go red.

This was...too much. Far too much, but he couldn’t help the way that his toes were curled up under the sheets, the butterflies in his stomach, and all of the crazy shit that had happened recently.

Honestly, he kind of...wanted something to distract him.

"You’ll stop if I say so?" Cass asked cautiously, and watched as both men perked up. They moved in, circling him and Cass felt crowded by the two men, which he shouldn’t have.

The bed was fucking massive.

"Of course." Lucian breathed, his nose already pressed against the nape of Cass’ neck, his breath warm against the sensitive skin there. "We’ll stop, even if we’re so fucking hard a hot breath from you would make us cum." Lucian whispered and Cass shivered. It was involuntary, but meeting Edgar’s gaze he could tell that it made him pleased. Cass clutched at the sheets under his hands, unsure what to do.

"Do you want to sink your hand into my hair? Our hair? Will it help you feel like you have some control? You can tug on it if you want us to stop." Edgar suggested, grabbing Cass’ hand and placing it gently against the back of Edgar’s head. Cass hesitated, unsure, but from the expectant look on Edgar’s face, he could tell that the man was all for it.

"Is that...normal?" Cass asked, out of his depth and Lucian chuckled.

"What? Did you not kiss anyone in the other world?" He asked, trying to joke, but when Cass didn’t say anything, his face going a deep shade of pink, did Lucian pull himself back far enough to see Cass’ expression. Lucian’s eyes widened, before they grew soft. "Awe sweetness. It is normal. So is biting, scratching, licking, sweating. All of it is normal when two bodies, er, three bodies intertwine. As Eddie said before, I’m sturdy. So is he. You can yank to your little heart’s content. Just make sure to use your nails, alright?" Lucian winked, all warmth and heat and Cass felt like his stomach was going to drop.

"I don’t have nails." Cass said, and both men took a second to stare at the trim state of Cass’ nails. Sam took care of it, and they were still in great condition even though he hadn’t seen the man in a while.

"Hmm. I want to trim them next time." Edgar murmured. Cass narrowed his gaze suspiciously.

"Can you even do that? Do you know how?" Cass asked. It was a valid question. Edgar’s face turned red while Lucian laughed.

"He’s right to ask. I don’t know how to trim a human’s nails. I’ve never learned. I thought they were like us." Lucian said with a shrug while Edgar cleared his throat.

"I do know how to do it. I have no intention to offer something that would be painful for you." Edgar muttered and Lucian gave him a look.

"That better be the case, you blood sucker. Don’t bite him all willy nilly." Lucian warned, and Edgar looked horrified.

"I would never! I respect him too much to do that to him." Edgar said, his feathers clearly ruffled by Lucian’s implication.

Cass, meanwhile, was a little stunned at this display before him. He wasn’t sure what he had expected when the two of them had come onto him like this, but this banter? This relaxation from the two of them? That certainly wasn’t it.

Honestly, he was expecting the same kind of behaviour he had witnessed the whole time in this novel. The rivalry, the subtle jabs, the fights that Fiona didn’t hear about. That kind of shit. The secret undermining that Edgar and Lord Blackburn had done to each other.

This? He hadn’t expected this in the slightest.

So it shouldn’t have surprised him when he felt his shoulders shake, the laughter feeling natural. Both men stopped bickering to turn and watch him, transfixed as Cass laughed genuinely. His expression was open, honest, and while still very flustered, amused.

"You two are pretty cute. I didn’t realise." Cass told them, not aware what the impact of his words would have on them. Lucian’s eyes went wide, going dragon immediately. Slitted, long, staring at him unblinking as his normally calm face flushed. Edgar wasn’t much different. His eyes glowed blue, his cheeks flushing and both men leaned forward.

Lucian was first, swallowing the laughter from his lips in a quick kiss before he released him so that Edgar could kiss him too. Cass was surprised by the sudden movement, when he really shouldn’t have been as Lucian pressed his lips against his shoulder and throat.

"Fuck. Shit. I’m trying to be gentle with you, Cassian. You’re too damn sweet." He muttered as if he was in pain, and Cass had no idea what to say to Lucian’s words. Edgar was too busy kissing him deeply. His lips slotted over Cass’ in a distantly familiar way before Cass had to breathe, and that was when the man raised his hand, making sure Cass’ was against the back of his head before he slipped his tongue into Cass’ mouth.

Cass made a soft noise in his throat, drawing the attention of both men. Lucian shivered, while Edgar pulled him closer. It was clear to Cass and Edgar’s movements that he wanted to kiss him deeper, pull him closer, but the other man didn’t do that. He kept his kisses relatively light, searching, exploring.

Cass’ heart was a drum in his chest, his breathing ragged as Edgar released him and Lucian took his place. The soft lips of Edgar were replaced with the slightly scruffy sensation that Lucian gave him as they kissed. Edgar kissed Cass’ neck, and whether intentional or not, Cass felt a little more aware at having that man at his throat.

A shiver ran down his spine, the small noises leaving his lips in between hot, wet kisses making Cass feel so damn embarrassed. Embarrassed that he was even making noises in the first place, and even more so that he couldn’t stop them.

Then there were also the holds the two men had on him. Edgar had one hand on his thigh still, dangerously close to an area he had touched before, and the other was wrapped up and under his arm, hooking onto his shoulder blade. Like he was holding him. It was a very possessive hold, his fingers digging into his skin, pulling his thin nightshirt down to reveal his pale skin.

Cass shivered as the other man licked his skin, his tongue wet and warm and nothing like the one that was exploring his mouth currently.

Lucian had done the same thing that Edgar had, forcing Cass’ other hand into his thick, long hair to give him a warning tug if he went too far. His one hand was on Cass’ hip, his fingers digging in so tight and deep that it almost felt painful. His other hand? Still on the back of Cass’ neck.

Not in the way, but it was such a clear hold of possession that Cass was sure that Edgar was annoyed by it.

Cass felt surrounded by the two men. There was nowhere to escape to, no where to run or hide. If he tried to pull away without actually tugging on their hair, they chased him. Cass was fucking embarrassed by how responsive he was right now, and he prayed, prayed that the two men had the decency to pretend they didn’t notice.

Lucian finished kissing Cass, gave him a few seconds, and then there was Edgar, having his fill of Cass’ lips. Cass had never felt this much pleasure in his life. He didn’t count the other time since that was more pain than anything else.

Cass’ head was spinning, the kisses making him dizzy with pleasure. He knew that there were other things he needed to do, so many damn responsibilities on his plate but fuck if he could push the two men away. Especially when Edgar passed him back to Lucian, both men’s faces were hot with desire. Greed. Need.

All for Cass.

When Lucian pulled away the second time, both men paused as they took in the state Cass was in. Both men had left marks on his already pale skin, his lips were swollen, and his red eyes were so big and dazed that shivers went down their spines.

Cass glanced between the men, licking his swollen lips and had both sets of eyes on his tongue.

"Are we done?" Cass asked in a sleepy, content voice and Edgar and Lucian shared a look. Lucian ended up shaking his head, leaning in to press a kiss against his chest.

"If we don’t stop, we’re going to go too far." Lucian told him, and Edgar reached out, brushing Cass’ hair back from Cass’ forehead.

"How was it? Was it okay? Did you get enough practise?" Edgar asked, teasing, and Cass blinked slowly, dazed.

"I might need some more." Cass muttered quietly and watched as the two contained beasts before him nearly threw themselves at him. Cass smirked slowly.

That was...this was a new kind of a power trip. He...didn’t hate it.
