CHAPTER 152: DISGUSTED

"I’m curious. Who was this unknown person?" Selina asked with a curious glint.

"Who was bold enough to actually kill him? And didn’t that man know of Riaz Feran’zin’s background or perhaps he also had a very powerful background?"

She certainly had devolved quiet a good opinion of the person who killed Riaz!

Lim shifted uncomfortably on his seat!

As he saw the palpable tension in the carriage! That both Ray and Selina were perfectly aware of despite that they chose ignore it.

Furthermore even though the inside of the carriage was four times bigger as compared to the outside! However Lim still felt suffocated.

Nevertheless he still had to reply if he was asked a question no matter how awkward he felt! He took a deep breath! Calming his mind.

"That’s the thing Madam Selina. The person who killed Riaz did not have any major background.. Um.. Atleast that is what it looked like.. "

"What I meant is that.. He is someone unknown! Someone anonymous. And He wasn’t alone! That person came with a woman.. "

"A beauty.. Hah.. I don’t even have words to describe her! All I can say is that even you would pale in comparison before that woman! Madam Selina."

"And even though there identities still remain a total mystery for many people regardless I did end up finding out that they came in a plain looking carriage! That was drawn by two black horse’s with deep-blue eyes and white flowing mane."

Lim uttered with pride. Than he suddenly remembered.

"On second thought. Let me recorrect! Riaz Feran’zin wasn’t killed by that unknown man instead he was killed by his own butler! You know that old man named Anz! He stabbed Riaz heart directly with his sword and in turn Riaz beheaded his butler."

"How can that be possible? I’ve heard about Butler Anz." Selina said.

"He is someone very loyal to the Master of the Feran’zin Family! How can he actually stab his Masters own son? I do not think that old man is even capable of simply thinking of betraying his Master. Are you sure you weren’t dreaming! Lim?"

"Tell us everything from the start! Lim." Ray commanded.

However his mind was still on what Lim said previously about the woman with that unknown person being even more beautiful than his Selina.

Meanwhile Lim with a nod! Explained everything from the start. About how Riaz first approached Black! The unknown man.

Than how his two rank eight bodyguards got so easily killed by him! How the old man tried to negotiate!

Than Black’s rejection of the thousand rank eight magistones! How Black left without doing anything!

And how he so casually handed a rank nine magistone to a mere guard! Finally finishing on! How Riaz and the old man killed one another.

"I don’t how that unknown person did it but there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that it was he who made Riaz and the old man kill each other." Lim said.

"But I certainly do have a speculation.. I think that he must have controlled there minds using some sort of illusion to make them kill one another just like he did with the two guards?"

Ray looked at Lim! His black gaze narrowed.

"So you’re saying that an unknown man who had just recently advanced to the seventh rank actually killed two rank eight ascension level eighty-seven guards so easily."

"And on top of that this unknown person also managed to control this Riaz guy and his old butlers mind without anyone noticing and had them kill each others. And despite all this he still went inside the city as though nothing had happened." Ray repeated.

"Are you sure! You aren’t making this all up? Do you hear how absurd your words sound! Lim?" He looked at him with an unamused expression.

Lim smiled wryly.

"Leader Ray! Do you think I would have the never to lie to your face." Than Lim suddenly remembered something.

"Ah. Here! Leader. This.. I took a picture of those two individuals in this imagery crystal.. You can look.. "

He took out the said crystal! It was the size of once fingernail! It shimmered in a bluish light as it displayed a hyperrealistic image of both Black and Zephyr.

Ray was indeed left breathless and in utter disbelief when he saw the stunning beauty that was Zephyr!

However his shock only remained for a moment because soon his eyes finally noticed the small almost imperceptibly blush that crept on Selina’s ivory cheeks as she watched Black.

His gaze turned bloodshot! He refocused his attention towards the picture of Black with a smile!

Ray was seething in immense rage!

And the fact that he wasn’t and had never gotten such a look from his woman only added more fuel to the fire burning in his heart.

’I’ll kill this bastard even it it’s the last thing I do.’

He swore inwardly! His stoic gaze then fixed on the picture of Zephyr! His lips arched up almost imperceptibly with a cruel glint in his eyes.

"Hm.. Luna.. "

Zephyr voiced! However her serpentine scarlett gaze was locked onto the sliverish-black bracelet on her hand.

Something Black just bought for her from one of the stores they visited.

It’s been approximately half an hour since they entered the city!

Black and Zephyr were simply roaming the streets without any destination! Observing there surroundings.

Every now and than they would come across a shop or two! The shops themselves were also small and not anything major.

However after all this time! They had confirmed that this was a residential area! In fact the whole of the southern side was a residential area.

One would only be able to see any major changes starting from the southwestern or the southeastern side of the Greenwood City.

Meanwhile Black and Zephyr! They haven’t even explored even a percent of the southern side. Yes; southern side! So there was no point in them thinking about other sides.

In any case! Now Zephyr had everyone’s attention! She looked at all of them! One by one and finally opened her mouth.

"I was wondering.. Um.. can you tell me just how big is the Greenwood City?"

"I mean even after thirty minutes we’re still walking here and had just bairly covered a point percent of the Greenwood City! If we go at this rate I do not think we’d have enough time to explore even five percent of the city before our next training began!~ "

She further added with her face twisted in disgust.

"And then there is also this.. problem.. as.. while walking down the streets every man just keeps staring at me with there disgusting eyes and I don’t like it at all."

Zephyr sighed.

"In any case! I just asked because! You said that the northern continent had eight main cities! Correct."

"And considering we’re on this flat mountain that is thousands of kilometers wide! I just wanted to know if all these eight main cities are actually on this flat mountain itself or are they located on some other mountain!~ "

"Since you know almost ninety percent of the northern continent is both a hollow and is a forest!~ "

Luna’s lips parted in surprise! She could understand that Zephyr was both curious and baffled about the sheer size of the mountain and the city itself!

Since if all the eight main cities were indeed on a single mountain than just how much big was that mountain.

And even if the cities were on different mountains! The sheer size of the mountain where the Greenwood City was present was still a thing to be amazed about.

Considering the mountain was something that was capable of actually housing an ancient behemoth — The Grand Emerald Elder Wood.
