CHAPTER 165: THE GREENWOOD ACADEMY [4]

Well- To say Black wasn’t impressed after entering his private room would be a total and white lie.

The opulent furniture aside!

The VIP room was glittering with hundreds of runes that both reinforced it’s structure and protected it from any outside attacks!

Further ensuring both privacy and security. Giving it an atmosphere that made wealthy people like himself feel accommodated.

Black felt like he had entered a five-star hotel. As he could already see!

How the exquisite rare wines! Magical teas! And fruits grown from ancient trees were neatly placed on lavish tables to ensure the customers satisfaction.

Looking at his VIP card. Black also came to know that-

He had entered room three of unit seven! There were a total of twenty-four units and each unit had three VIP room within themselves.

The first twenty units were for wealthy customers like himself.

Who were willing or could afford to pay for a private room whereas the last four units were reserved for people of statuses.

Like the higher-ups of the Academy who would come to watch the mortal tournament or other Pseudo-Divine’s of the subordinate or independent families.

Regardless Black knew that even normally the chance of the Pseudo-Divine’s of the Evergreen Family or the Elyrias Family coming to watch this mortal tournament were already close to nil.

And after what happened last night. He didn’t think they would even have the time to come here.

And none of the Pseudo-Divine’s in the Greenwood Academy knew who he was. Hence there was no problem in him participating in the tournament.

"The vintage point from here is really good!~ "

Black came out of his thoughts!

As he focused on Zephyr and Elly. Who were standing before the front wall and looking past the glass- into the Arena.

Yes; the whole of the front wall was nothing but a transparent glass from inside and a full on mirror from the outside.

They could comfortably sit on the sofas and chairs and leisurely watch the duels going on below! On the Arena stage.

"Indeed it is." Black affirmated. Coming to a stop beside his serpent. He gazed past the glass.

Only to see multitudes of people crowding the Arena! He supposed they must be here to watch the tournament that will began soon.

For the time being! The majority of the public was busy chatting or doing other mundane stuff.

Whereas the few that weren’t were either cheering or booing while watching the only duel happening on the Arenas platform.

It was an intense battle! Which was going on between a Darkness Spirit and a Human.

And from what Black could sense.

They both were in Ascension Rank seven with only a difference of one Ascension Level between them.

Besides the Darkness Spirit was a student of the Academy- dressed in the Academy’s uniform.

While the Human was a rogue individual- Nah! Looking at the cheers the Human was getting!

Black supposed that he must be a known figure here.

Participating in regular duels. And though the cheers Black also came to know of the Human’s name — Lynn.

’Hm. Now that I remember it. Wasn’t there also a Human named Lynn in the billboard ranking too.’

’What was his rank.. Um.. thirteenth.. in the Ascension Rank seven rankings. And in the overall ranking Lynn was also in top hundred... Ouch!!!.. ’

Black grimaced as he saw the Darkness Spirit- called Drake Darkbane! Landing a solid hit on Lynn’s back.

However Lynn quickly composed himself! Steadied his footing! And at once slammed his spear shaft- hard on the platform.

*Booom!~* *Crackle!~*

Using his ability [ Chain Lightening ] amplified by his Elementary Law of Lightening. The element travelled from his spear to the ground in a jiffy.

Thereafter bursting in a chaotic discharge! As multiple chains of dense Lightening shot towards Drake Darkbane!

Some he promptly dodged despite there immense speed. And the once he couldn’t- For them he created a thin but dense barrier of darkness.

To absorbe and devour the element and convert it into magical energy for him to refill his empty reserves.

The darkness barrier formed was a racial ability of Drake Darkbane- called [ Conversion Barrier ].

Regardless the Conversion Barrier was unable to hold on against the contentious barrage of lightening strikes!

Happening all within a span of three seconds. And ultimately it shattered!

The backlash from the ability being overpowered and the multiple lightning piercing and striking Drake’s body afterwards.

Made his mind blank and his body numb as his blood gushed out from his black-skin like a river flowing!

And Lynn fully taking advantage of the opportunity presented- attacked.

However before Lynn could even launch his attack! Drake came out of his reverie! And the battle continued with even more intensity.

The crowd in stands cheered! Some for Drake Darkbane and some for Lynn- The Chain Lightening.

Furthermore Black could also see the bets placed on the duel going on between Lynn and Drake Darkbane through his VIP card.

And he could also place his bids through the card itself. But Black wasn’t interested as money was something that he had plenty of.

Though he could’ve easily placed the bids just for the fun of it but again- Black really wasn’t interested.

Not when he already knew that Lynn was going to absolutely win this duel against Drake Darkbane! Despite being a level weaker then him.

All because he had the needed experience one needs to win in these types of duels where ones life is never in danger.

However if it was a life or death duel than it would’ve been difficult to tell who would’ve won amongst these two.

Nevertheless!

After watching the battle for another minute Black lost all interest in them! It was just a normal battle between two rank seven individuals.

Neither was it entertaining nor could he have gained anything from it. Black turned and sat on a sofa on the side.

Now that he thought about it.

One of the reward for winning the tournament aside from the artifact and the monetary prize was also was an Elixir.

A Lightening element Elixir.

’Hmm. I could get plenty of these things for my Law compherenson just by asking my maids! Then again — there is no fun in that.’

’And winning the tournament would also be difficult since there are also ascension rank eight individuals participating in it.’

’But earning the elixir by my own strength would be far more exciting and rewarding and not to mention entertaining.’

’Even so! I’ve to first think about how to deal with these higher-leveled rank 8 individuals and there partial-domains. However for that I need to know- what kind of tournament this actually is.. ’

As Black was pondering. Suddenly- Freya came and sat on his lap! Her arms going over his neck! As she whispered in his ears coyly.

"Master! ~ what are you thinking so deeply about. Do tell your maid too. Who knows! She might be of some help to you!~ "

"Uhh." Black shivered.

His hands subconsciously going over her waist! As he pulled her even closer! Feeling her heat.

"Mnn." Black groaned! His head tilted- As her delicate lips played with his ears.

He glanced at his succubus- brows raised.

"What came into you so suddenly! My maid.. Oh.. it’s not like I’m complaining rather I’m enjoying it very much."

Freya giggled.

Fidgeting in his arms to get even closer. Her head shifted! There eyes matched! Her lips curled- just inches away from his! Her large bosoms pressed against his chest.

"I’m aware!~ Master!~ You know. I can feel your semi-erect shaft poking me down there!~ rubbing at my lips!~ So there is no doubt- your enjoying me- just as much as I’m you!~ "

She licked his lips! Then leaned backward. Squirming in his lap! Her finger tapping her chin sensually! Her gaze sultry.

Black smiled. Feeling her lower lips massaging his shaft- as she kept wriggling her hips on his lap! Regardless of there clothes!

Nevertheless Black still told her what she wanted to know.

"Oh! The Essence Elixir of Lightening!~ " Freya repeated. Then she grinned. "But don’t you have an even better Elixir. Master!~ "

Black blinked. "Do I?" His head tilted. "I don’t think- "

"Don’t you have your Maids!~ Master!~ Two Wolves!~ isn’t there Elixir much more better and pleasurable!~ You can always drink them for your Law compherenson. Master!~ "

Freya whispered suggestively.

Black’s eyes widened- shocked. "How can I forget that. Something so Important."

"Fufufu!~ You can still drink them. Master!~ I don’t think they would mind. Now would they!~ "

"You- " Luna blushed in embarrassment. She heard and saw everything from the start what this shameless succubus was doing.

"Yes! I certainly wouldn’t mind. Master!~ "

Black looked at his two wolves. Wix and Luna- who were sitting on the side. "Though you certainly don’t mind but we don’t have time! Now do we!~ "

Wix smirked. "Heh!~ Master what are you taking us for. If you want you can have all the time in the world to enjoy us. Aren’t I right Freya!~ "

"Um. Black who you’re talking to!~ " Elly suddenly asked.

Black jerked at the sudden question. Finally remembering her presence. He looked at her with an awkward expression.

His face flushed in embarrassment.
