CHAPTER 73: TRAINING 2 — GALE WIND EMERALD SERPENT

"Hm.. what happened Zephyr.. why are you hissing.. " Black uttered, his body was still indeed in a lot of pain but it wasn’t to the point that he couldn’t bare it therefore he stood up steadily using the tree as a support.

"Um!! I’m not the one who hissed just now Black.. He is!! ~ " Zephyr echoed looking towards the said creature.

"Hm! What do you mea.. what the fuck!!?" Black blurted out.

"It’s a serpent too?"

"It is.. " Zephyr said matching his gaze. "You don’t have to worry though since I’m not a serpent anymore and even If I was.. I don’t think it would have mattered even if you killed another serpent you know ~ " Zephyr giggled in amusement all the while dispelling his unneeded concern.

"Oh! Alright than!?" Black nodded. "Hm! It’s only a level 67 serpent! As same as me, Huh?" He uttered, now examining the serpent with emerald-black scale’s more closely.

Meanwhile the serpent itself slithered towards them gradually. It’s emerald serpentine gaze fixed on them.

"It sure is quiet big? I haven’t seen a serpent this big before, not even in my family!! ~ "

Zephyr mumbled curious as she too examined the 30 meters long serpent. Who finally stopped quiet a distance away from them. Going over a shattered tree remain, its emerald-black scale’s shimmering in the sunlight.

"Humans.. Hiss.. two weak Human’s.. is today my lucky day that such a tasty meal just landed before me from the sky.. now I don’t have to work for a good Meal tonight!"

The emerald-black serpent uttered eyeing both Black and Zephyr with drool practically flowing from his mouth.

"It is intelligent too! I’ll be taking this one on Zephyr!" Black said his voice neutral and calm unaffected by the serpents looming presence — She just nodded quietly.

"Oh! My meal is willingly offering itself to me! Good! Good! Atleast you know your lowly place Human! Now come and fill my stomach!"

The emerald-black serpent laughed arrogantly as it watched Black moving towards it from his high ground.

"It sure is delusional, Huh? Zephyr!!" Black chuckled, amused by the serpent who just laughed so arrogantly already thinking that the battle was over even before it began.

While that was indeed true however it wasn’t for the emerald-black serpent but Black!!

Meanwhile Black also took out the sword from his spatial ring too, the spatial ring was something that Luna had given him after there wet kiss.

The sword was a classy black claymore made from rank six material yet it was still a plain sword without any enchantment to further boost its prowess all that it had for its name as a rank six sword were just the materials it was made from, it was both sharp and long, a rather good weapon to use against a serpent.

Black advanced towards the emerald-black serpent — his steps were unhurried, each one was calm and calculated as though he didn’t even put the magical beast serpent in his eyes.

Which certainly enraged the said serpent..

"So you want to struggle human! And here I thought that you were smart and I wouldn’t have to waste my precious energy on you!" His voice reverberated through the space filled with malice and killing intent.

While at the same time the moment it finished his sentence the magical beast serpent abruptly advanced towards Black — as it uttered in disdain..

"Just because we are off the same level doesn’t mean you’ll be able to win against me human!!"

Meanwhile Black quickly jumped backward just as the serpents tail hit the ground where he was moving — the serpent was fast, very fast.

*Boom*

Black didn’t even have the time to blink before the serpent was upon him again causing him to continously dodge as he moved through the forest all the while the magical beast serpent chased after him like a possessed beast.

It used its tail every other second trying to capture him, to strangle him, but Black simply dodged causing the tail to every time hit the unfortunate trees shattering there trunks.

*Boom* *Boom*

Nonetheless the serpent didn’t stop and chased after him relentlessly not giving him even a window of opportunity to attack.

The emerald-black serpent knew what it was doing after all, although it did indeed sounded rather arrogant earlier yet he wasn’t a fool he didn’t underestimate Black one bit because of its arrogance since he knew that Black too was of the same level therfore he directly used its full strength.

Furthermore he indeed knew about Zephyr’s presence who was standing on the side but he didn’t give her any heed since she was still only level 61 right now, thinking as long as he delt with Black she will be a peice of cake.

Black was quiet astonished by the emerald-black serpents speed. The serpent was fast enough that it was travelling hundreds of meters in the blink of an eye.

If he didn’t have such an absurdly strong base prowess of 10 levels that his bloodline provided him in the mortal phase than he would be quiet hard pressed to fight this serpent on equals grounds with his magical energy sealed mainly because of the serpents insane speed.

’Let’s see what you got little boy!!’ He wondered in his mind — curious.

All the while he suddenly stopped in his tracks by kicking the wide trunk of the tree before him than with a strong kick abruptly turned around mid-air while his body slid through the space like a projectile and advanced towards the emerald-black serpent.

*Booom*

Besides since the serpent itself was chasing after Black with its full speed and full strength it was completely caught off-guard by Black’s sudden action and wasn’t able to react in time when Black too advanced towards him.

Therfore before it could even do anything the claymore in Black’s hands directly pearced his forehead killing him on the spot.

*Booom* *Pearce*

Thus — The Gale Wind Emerald Serpent speed itself became it biggest undoing..

Meanwhile the serpents body slide across the forest surface because of the momentum it was carrying further toppling a few unfortunate trees in its path while Black simply dig the claymore into the serpents skull even more all the while also using it as a support piller as the serpents now dead body slid across the ground for a totally of hundred meters before coming to a stop.

"Well! That was quiet anticlimactic and rather easy! I didn’t think you would still be so powerful Black. Even after getting your magical energy sealed!"

Zephyr giggled from the side as she landed towards the side of the now dead serpent.

Black panned his golden gaze at Zephyr’s charming figure and replied, his curled lips parting..

"No, I’m indeed not that powerful in my current state Zephyr.. since it is really proving rather difficult to battle using just my bodily physique alone.. " He said with a wry smile.
