She bit into Lilith's neck, drawing her blood into her mouth.

Since using the blood of Demon Beasts as a drink to alleviate her blood addiction, Charlotte had not tasted human blood in quite some time and had to admit that the blood of humans was indeed more delectable than that of Demon Beasts.

Lilith's blood was sweet, at least from Charlotte's perspective, it was delicious.

However, Charlotte's goal wasn't to replenish her blood.

The Bloodline performed the First Embrace using the Blood Embrace Skill from the Blood Spirit Magic System, deploying dark magic; there were two ways to initiate the First Embrace.

The most basic was to directly grant the First Embrace recipient the power of the Bloodline.

This method usually resulted in Descendants significantly weaker than their progenitors, and it was often used to create lower-level Bloodline members and Blood Servants or to grant the target powers akin to those of the Bloodline.

Beyond direct power infusions, there was a more traditional and solemn method of the First Embrace, known as the Blood Spirit Contract.

A Blood Spirit Contract was a Bloodline Contract forged through the exchange of blood and was used for the First Embrace to create direct Bloodline Descendants.

The principle involved replacing all of the recipient's blood with that of the same origin as the First Embrace Bloodline.

Those brought into the Bloodline through this method would have a closer genetic connection to the First Embrace Bloodline, a higher concentration of Bloodline Power, and thus... greater strength.

This was the method Charlotte had chosen.

The divine power of the God of Hatred and Deformation had deeply corrupted Lilith; to completely purge her of this power, one needed to "fight poison with poison," eroding Lilith with an even more potent force.

What power could be more corrosive than that of the True Ancestor Bloodline?

Charlotte drew in Lilith's blood while simultaneously channeling Divine Power and Bloodline Power.

The blood she absorbed was not digested but directly integrated into Charlotte's own blood through a unique organ found in the Bloodline.

In Charlotte's circulatory system, Lilith's blood quickly passed through her heart, merging deeply with her own blood.

A faint divine aura infused the blood, giving it a golden-red hue, and beyond the divine power, there was the even greater influence of Charlotte's own Bloodline Power.

Soon, Charlotte assimilated the blood completely, making it nearly indistinguishable from her own.

Charlotte took a deep breath, running her Bloodline Power, and then forced the blood she had ingested back out; it flowed through her circulatory system and unique organ, returning to her mouth.

Then... she transferred it into Lilith's body.

It was a process neither fast nor slow.

Under Charlotte's "draining," Lilith's complexion quickly paled, a sign of excessive blood loss.

But when Charlotte began "returning the blood," Lilith's skin regained color, taking on a different kind of paleness.

A crimson radiance gradually spread over both Charlotte and Lilith.

Lilith's grotesque wounds began to heal rapidly, and in her hollow chest cavity, fresh tissue squirmed violently.

The new tissue swiftly grew, intertwining and gradually... reconstructing a brand-new heart!

One of the most remarkable traits of the Bloodline was their profound Recovery Power.

And without a doubt, Charlotte, who had channeled both Divine Power and Bloodline Power to give Lilith the most supreme First Embrace, had bestowed upon her the most formidable Recovery Power!

The crimson glow spread, and a new heart took form.

"Thump..."

The heart began to beat, firstly slow and weak, then progressively stronger until it was healthy and robust!

Lilith's injuries completely healed, and her breathing stabilized.

Her hair rapidly changed from its original silver with a hint of gold to the exact same exquisite silver tinged with a touch of pink as Charlotte's.

Even her features subtly shifted, vaguely starting to resemble Charlotte.

It couldn't be said that she became Charlotte.

She was still herself, recognizable to anyone who knew her as Lilith, but there was a resemblance to Charlotte in her eyes and expressions.

The crimson radiance slowly faded, and Charlotte finally completed the First Embrace process.

Using such an immense amount of Bloodline Power had left her, even as a True Ancestor, feeling somewhat drained, dizzy, and blurred in vision.

She wanted to stand up but momentarily almost lost her balance; just as she was about to fall, a pair of hands suddenly steadied her.

Charlotte lifted her head to meet a pair of golden-red eyes.

Those eyes were calm and profound as if holding myriad emotions.

Those were Lilith's eyes.

Lilith... had awakened.

"Teacher... thank you..."

She embraced Charlotte, whispering softly.

Charlotte felt a familiar power entering her body from the other.

It was the Bloodline Power she had bestowed upon her.

The Bloodline Power rejuvenated Charlotte, improving her state, while Lilith's complexion once again paled.

Using the Bloodline Power's feedback, Charlotte also assessed Lilith's current state.

Legendary...

Her First Embrace, performed with the Blood Divine Power and True Ancestor Bloodline, had created a Bloodline Legend.
