Hearing the faint voice behind the stone door, Charlotte instinctively took a step back.

It couldn't be helped; the situation was just too bizarre. The star that symbolized the Stargazer Cosy had turned into a stone gate of sealing, and from behind it came a plea for help. Compounding the oddness, the Sealer had left a warning on the stone gate itself…

It all seemed so ominously peculiar.

Especially the warning written in the common language.

Judging by the remnant power, the inscriptions on the stone gate were not more than a few hundred years old—specifically, between three and four hundred years… This was Charlotte deducing based on the magic detection skills learned from Nisi. How Nisi learned it and what it was used for probably had something to do with excavating ruins or grave robbing.

But, the increasingly shaky and scribbled progression of the three "Do not respond" on the stone gate, the growing madness, panic, and despair within the writing, was palpable even to Charlotte, whose ability to write in the common language was as poor as a turtle's crawl.

Combined with the intermittent, barely audible cries for help that seemed to permeate everything, and the white mist that exuded a fatal attraction and affinity for her, yet was directly warned against by the Blood Holy Scripture…

Charlotte couldn't help but feel a chill down her spine, a surge of horror.

Without hesitation, she began to activate her divine power, attempting to kick this stone gate out of her conscious space.

After all, who wouldn't lose sleep with such a thing lodged in their mind?

But she quickly failed.

The stone gate was as if nailed in place, not budging an inch, and not even Charlotte's divine power could sever it from her spiritual world.

Charlotte examined it more closely and soon realized the crux of the issue.

This stone gate wasn't an illusion; it truly existed and seemed to be a real connection from Charlotte's conscious space to a "different space."

This connection was almost bound to her consciousness, which meant the only way to sever it would have been to erase her own consciousness.

Coming to this realization, Charlotte's heart sank slightly.

She did not know what this cursed thing was, nor whether the cries for help truly belonged to the Nais Clan's lost Bloodline Prince, the Stargazer Cosy.

But her intuition told her that the stone gate, as well as whatever lay beyond it, was definitely not benign.

Moreover, if the Blood Holy Scripture itself was issuing warnings, the situation undoubtedly harbored immense risks and dangers!

After pondering for a moment, Charlotte once again harnessed her divine power, applying it to the seal on the stone gate.

The sealing was complex and high tier. With her current magical knowledge, it would have been impossible for her to cast it alone.

Fortunately, during her second historical crossing, thanks to an Elf's magic tome, she had studied similar sealing magic to a certain extent.

Mastery was beyond her, but by modeling the existing seal, she should be able to shore it up with divine power.

Before long, the escaping white mist significantly diminished, and the faint cries for help grew weaker—from being clearly audible when concentrating, they faded to the point where only sporadic moans could be heard with the utmost attention.

Having done all this, Charlotte still felt uneasy.

She manipulated her divine power to cast a Bloodline Talent Magic called "Blood Cage" within her spiritual world, sealing off the entire area around the stone gate.

This Talent Magic was one of the newer additions to Charlotte's mind and was considered high tier magic. Usually, Charlotte wouldn't have been able to cast it without considerable study.

But now, having activated her divine power and entered the "True Ancestor Liberation" state as a "Demigod," deconstructing and directly casting magic of this tier was no longer difficult for her.

Naturally, this would consume a significant amount of divine power, equivalent to using a sledgehammer to crack a nut—employing more divine power to execute a lower-grade magic.

But, to prevent more trouble, Charlotte wasn't considering that at the moment.

Divine power could be replenished.
