Charlotte's heart stirred.

She hadn't expected Harcos's Great Prophet to so decisively decline her assistance.

But the words spoken had brought her a great deal of information.

'Really, there's a Bloodline Myth of Royal Authority that sought refuge in the Holy Royal Court...'

'Or could it be that the Holy Royal Court itself was established by a faction of the Bloodline that rebelled?'

'It seems the Great Prophet of the Harcos Clan knows more ancient secrets than the Elder Council of the Nais Clan, perhaps... I could get more information from her.'

Without betraying any emotion, she watched the resolute Great Prophet of the Harcos Clan and suddenly smiled,

"Great Prophet, I didn't quite understand your meaning."

"You said you've guessed who stands behind me, so... I'm equally curious, who do you think I am a Divine Favored of?"

The Great Prophet Margo of the Harcos Clan glanced at her, huffed lightly, and said,

"For other clans, your secrets were buried in history with the fall of the last Royal Authority Bloodline, but don't forget, in that cataclysm that obliterated the name Kilari, my master was the only mythic eyewitness."

"The Royal Authority Bloodline was once the most powerful Bloodline Clan, and at its peak, it boasted thirteen demigods; even after the massacre by the Blood True Ancestor, there were still three myths that survived."

"After the disappearance of the Blood True Ancestor and the Awakening of the Creator God, the Royal Authority Bloodline also split..."

"Among them, one myth tried to ascend to godhood and ultimately fell into eternal darkness amid a Blood Rage; one myth struggled to keep the last Kilari alive, longing to retrieve the Blood True Ancestor, and was finally killed by the joint efforts of the major clans; and the last one... followed the Creator God into the Holy Royal Court and became the first Chief Judge."

"He beseeched the Creator God to transform his Bloodline bloodline, reforged his divine body with holy fire, thus gaining the power to 'Purify' the Bloodline bloodline, and even his title... was rewritten as well."

At this point, the Great Prophet of the Harcos Clan looked at Charlotte with a knowing gaze,

"Am I right? The head of the sub-gods of the Holy Royal Court, the favored of the God of Judgment Gallimore, referred to in the Northern Land as 'the favored of the Dark Night God'—Lady Charlotte de Castel."

The head of the sub-gods of the Holy Royal Court, the God of Judgment Gallimore... was once part of the Royal Authority Bloodline?

Charlotte was aware of the many sub-gods in the Holy Royal Court.

Indeed, the reason why the Holy Royal Court was so powerful was because it relied on continually absorbing other myths into the Royal Court to become sub-gods of the Creator God.

Charlotte, not particularly familiar with the God of Judgment Gallimore, had gotten a fairly good understanding through the "introduction" by the great prophet of the Harcos Clan.

The God of Judgment Gallimore, born from the Bloodline, possesses the power to "Purify" the Bloodline.

Clearly, the Great Prophet of the Harcos Clan was mistaking Charlotte, with her Bloodline myth of the well-known "Dark Night God" from the northern part of the mainland, as the God of Judgment Gallimore of the Holy Royal Court.

Charlotte didn't know what expression she should show now.

But from the resolute attitude of the Great Prophet from the Harcos Clan, she knew it would be impossible to convince her otherwise.

However, the firm attitude of the Great Prophet also exposed a problem.

A Divine Favored is a favored of a deity, a spokesperson for the deity; if the Great Prophet of the Harcos Clan saw Charlotte as the favored of the God of Judgment, then it wasn't far-fetched to say that Charlotte could be considered a messenger for the gods of the Holy Royal Court.

The Harcos Clan ultimately is just one branch of the Bloodline, and now so weakened, logically, the Great Prophet's demeanor should have been more mild and cautious.

But now it was different, such a decisive reply could be considered quite firm.

Adding to that the deliberate disguise of the Harcos Clan during the banquet, all these signs pointed towards one possibility...

The Harcos Clan was bluffing.

Despite having a living demigod in charge, they were still bluffing.

Then, the answer was probably quite clear.

Thinking this, Charlotte looked again at the Great Prophet of the Harcos Clan:

"Great Prophet, has Her Majesty, the Crimson Queen Royena... encountered some trouble?"

The Great Prophet Margo paused slightly.

She chuckled softly and said,

"Queen Charlotte, you jest. My lord is the god closest to the True Ancestor, placed among the many Bloodline myths, also the most powerful."

"Out of respect for your noble status, I do not want to pursue your offense against my lord, but I also ask you to maintain sufficient respect for my Harcos."
