Bloodline of the Wizard
Chapter 414 - 194: Genius Appears, Moon Soul Stone, Giant Stone Peak, and Ancient Spirit Witch_2
CHAPTER 414: CHAPTER 194: GENIUS APPEARS, MOON SOUL STONE, GIANT STONE PEAK, AND ANCIENT SPIRIT WITCH_2
Perhaps that’s why, the soul power he needs to break through from Level 2 to Level 3 is still not enough. He’s still a bit short.
"I wonder if I can find something to increase soul power in the marketplace..."
The likelihood is small, but Ronan can only hope for this now, since the "energy" within the Moon Soul Stone given by Selena has been completely depleted.
"Humming—"
Ronan suddenly heard a slight commotion coming from outside.
He tidied himself up a bit and walked out of the Space Tent.
As soon as he stepped out, he saw numerous Wizards floating in mid-air, all looking towards two directions with varied expressions, discussing fervently.
"Has someone arrived?"
Ronan’s eyes flickered as he activated his Flying Ring, and his body slowly began to levitate.
He had seen scenes like this many times in the past half month since the battle between the Ash Witch Molli’er and Selena; leading geniuses from the Southern Wizard World had been arriving one after another, with each exceptional individual’s arrival causing a buzz.
Ronan followed the direction of the others’ gazes and saw on a hill to the east a golden giant bear walking upright.
Each step it took caused deafening roars, crushing the earth beneath its feet, leaving behind deep imprints like massive pits, with the ground shaking slightly as if an army were marching on.
As the giant bear crossed a high slope, it was enveloped in a blinding light and then suddenly transformed into a massive black wolf, running swiftly across the hillsides, creating gusts of wind, tearing up chunks of grass, and forming conspicuous dust and stone twisters.
The black wolf leaped into the air and transformed into a white hawk with electric feathers entwined around it, soaring into the sky...
"It’s Ewaqu!"
Ronan heard someone conversing in a low voice not far from him.
"It is said that this fellow follows the path of the Ancient Spirit Witch... Some have witnessed him intimidating mountains, tearing apart a Third Rank Magic Beast with his own hands..."
Ancient Spirit Witch...
Ronan caught onto this term, his eyes slightly gleaming.
The grand gathering that has enveloped the entire Southern Continent commenced, with more and more top talents from various forces coming to the fore, allowing Ronan to witness many mighty and peculiar magic schools he had never heard of before.
Many of these derive from the Ancients, like the pages of a Legend’s Preface slowly unfolding before him.
The white hawk flew over Ronan’s head and landed in the deepest parts of the Ancient Fairy City Ruins, transforming into a WIZARD dressed in black beast-skin robes with a peculiar attire.
The latter cast a cold glance around, then closed his eyes and, under the watchful gaze of innumerable eyes, sat down on the spot.
Along with Ewaqu, an orb of blue and purple Light Ball wrapped in countless thunder slurry and lightning appeared like a sun composed of lightning, roaring through the high skies from the south.
Ronan’s face showed a look of wonder.
Sure enough, after the lightning orb opened up, a domineering and majestic young man who looked like a Monarch stepped out. He was Jupiter, the top talent of the Thunder Council—one of the Six Great Wizarding Forces.
Three years had passed, and not only had Jupiter’s injuries healed, but his strength had also grown much more formidable than before.
At least he now entered the circle of the most elite talents and was not expelled by others.
Nowadays, the surroundings of the Ancient Fairy City Ruins have formed a new hierarchy of four levels—the innermost circle has the fewest people, but each one is a well-known top talent; even the least among them has the strength near the late stage of Level 3 Wizard, led by talents like Molli’er, Selena, and those from the three large Southern Wizard Forces.
The second layer consists of slightly less powerful geniuses, with Level 3 being the boundary, and at least requiring the strength of a Level 3 Wizard to enter.
The third layer is where Ronan is now, generally composed of Level 2 Wizards.
Finally, there are the most numerous, Level 1 Wizards, who circle around the third layer, scattered like ants among the surrounding hills and plains.
If the top talents in the innermost circle are the Arrogant Sun, then the Level 3 Wizard talents in the second layer are bright moons; the third layer consists of stars, and the outermost layer... like fireflies scattered in the mountains and forests, gazing up at the sun, moon, and stars.
"This grand event, even a Level 2 Wizard has no qualifications to participate, can only witness, serve as a backdrop, or even just an adornment..."
Ronan narrowed his eyes and looked inward, up until now, the number of top talents in the innermost layer is eleven, and nearly two hundred geniuses on the second tier.
Of course, these are only those exposed under everyone’s watchful eyes; there must surely be hidden talents and strong individuals lurking in the shadows, such as... Angelie.
So far, Ronan has not found a trace of Angelie.
As Ronan searched the vast crowd, suddenly, he sensed a pulsing from a Communication Stone within his Space Ring.
Taking it out, after confirming the identity of the communicator, Ronan’s eyes flickered for a moment.
Orian was unexpectedly reaching out to him at this time.
...
Half an hour later, in an elegantly styled room, with a Level 1 Wizard acting as an attendant, tea and snacks were placed on the table in front of Ronan and Orian, and with a respectful posture, he retired from the room.
As the number of Wizards gathering in the Ancient Fairy City Ruins increased, it became harder to find a quiet and undisturbed place within dozens of miles around.
Similar tea rooms and taverns have consequently emerged, equally set up within Space Tents, charging a high rent, but after starting noise isolation and screening arrays, there was no longer any need to worry about being disturbed while having conversations inside.
Ronan picked up the teapot steaming with a light vapor from the table, poured a cup for Orian, and gently pushed it towards him.
"Thank you."
Orian thanked him.
