Chapter 308: Five Bags
CHAPTER 308: CHAPTER 308: FIVE BAGS
"The world is so unfair!" he wailed, covering his face. "She tried to slap me without even listening to what I had to say! And now she’ll pretend she’s the victim!"
He pointed at the girl dramatically. "I support feminism, I really do! But this... this is not it! You’re using it to bully people!"
Then, to make things even stranger, the boy actually started crying. Real tears rolled down his cheeks.
Olivia blinked. Was this guy serious?
The girl looked like she was struck by lightning. She just stood there, frozen, her hand still in the air. Then she finally pulled it back, looking around awkwardly.
A few people were passing by, and they had started to stare.
Now the girl looked embarrassed too. She glared at the boy still sitting on the ground.
"You are such a drama queen!" she snapped. "Stop acting like I’m some monster! You’re the one who messed with me!"
The boy didn’t move. He stayed on the ground and sniffled.
"I’m not being dramatic," he said sadly. "I just feel like if I don’t defend myself, you’ll throw me in jail or something. Who’s going to believe me if I don’t cry, huh?"
Olivia had to bite her lip to stop herself from laughing.
The girl pointed at the boy, furious. "With that attitude, no wonder you’ll be single forever!"
The boy nodded seriously. "Wow. So now I’m cursed too. I didn’t even do anything! Did I sleep with you? No. Did I kiss you? No. Did I ever even touch you? No! So what exactly did I do?"
The girl gasped and stomped her foot.
"We shared moments!" she yelled. "We had meaningful glances! We sat on the same bench for hours! We went to cafes together! How can you just act like it meant nothing?!"
The boy sat up slowly and looked at her.
"I thought we were just bored," he said plainly.
The girl looked like she was about to scream.
Olivia decided that was enough weirdness for one day. She turned and walked away quickly, shaking her head.
"I need noodles," she muttered to herself.
Just as Olivia turned to walk away from the drama, she suddenly heard quick footsteps behind her. Her instincts kicked in, and she immediately turned, ready to elbow someone if needed.
But before she could react, a pair of arms wrapped around her in a tight hug.
"Hey, babe," a voice said right in her ear.
What?
Olivia froze.
The same dramatic guy from before, the one who had thrown himself on the ground and cried, was now holding her like they were a couple. Olivia’s eyes widened in complete shock.
He turned his head toward the angry girl and said in a calm voice, "I already have a girlfriend. So I never tried to flirt with you. I didn’t do anything wrong. You misunderstood everything."
The girl’s jaw dropped. "What? Her? What does she have that I don’t?" She pointed at Olivia like Olivia was some kind of magic trick.
Then her face changed the moment she saw Olivia clearly.
Olivia had burgundy-colored hair that fell softly over her shoulders, her skin was clear, and her eyes were sharp and beautiful. She had that classic kind of beauty that looked like it came straight out of a movie.
The angry girl blinked, her confidence suddenly shaken.
She stared at Olivia for a few seconds, then turned back to the guy.
"But you can’t just leave me!" she cried. "We shared special moments! You looked at me like I was the only girl in the world! And now you’re just walking away for... for her?"
Olivia narrowed her eyes and took a small step back.
"Excuse me," she said, raising her hand. "I don’t even know this guy."
The boy chuckled and pinched her cheek gently.
Olivia’s eyes narrowed and she almost thought of ways to chop of his fingers.
"Aww, you’re mad again," he said in a teasing voice. "Don’t worry. I’ll get you that Chanel bag you’ve been dreaming about."
Olivia’s eyebrow twitched.
Was he crazy?
She was just about to punch him when he leaned closer and whispered in her ear, "Help me out. I’ll give you two Chanel bags."
Olivia paused. Two Chanel bags?
She looked at him out of the corner of her eye.
"I want five," she whispered back.
The boy looked like he had been struck by lightning. "Five?" he whispered, eyes wide.
She smiled sweetly. "Take it or leave it."
He groaned quietly, then gave in. "Fine. Five. But you have to make it really convincing."
Olivia straightened up, flipped her hair over her shoulder, and turned toward the girl with sad eyes. She blinked slowly, giving her best dramatic expression.
"You’re going too far," she said softly. "I know my boyfriend. He’s not the kind of guy who goes around flirting. You must’ve misunderstood something. Maybe you were just imagining it all along."
The girl’s mouth opened but no words came out.
Olivia took a step closer, her voice gentle. "Let me ask you something. Do you even know how many moles he has in his butt?"
The boy froze.
The girl looked confused. "What?"
"Five," Olivia said confidently. "I counted each one while spanking him."
The boy’s face turned bright red. He looked like he wanted the earth to swallow him whole.
The girl gasped and looked at the boy. "Is she telling the truth?"
The boy’s jaw clenched. He nodded slowly. "Yeah. She’s telling the truth."
The girl took a step back, completely stunned. Her eyes filled with tears. It was clear now that the relationship between Olivia and the boy was... a lot deeper than she thought.
"I won’t forget this," the girl said in a trembling voice. She shot one last angry glare at both of them, then turned and walked away as fast as she could.
As soon as she disappeared around the corner, Olivia stepped away from the boy and held out her palm.
