CHAPTER 339: CHAPTER 339: BREAKUP

That was when Mateo finally understood. Louis had planned everything. He had been confident because he already knew there were no cameras here.

He could act however he wanted, and no one could prove him wrong.

Mateo’s body shook with rage. His face burned red, and his voice cracked as he shouted,

"Then fine! If there is no camera, I will install one myself! I will make sure this never happens again!"

The classroom fell silent for a moment. Then, as if on cue, laughter broke out. Students looked at Mateo strangely, their eyes mocking him.

Someone whispered loudly enough for others to hear, "Is he playing judge now? Thief shouting thief."

"Exactly," another laughed. "He is just embarrassing himself even more."

Mateo’s teeth ground together so hard they hurt. He wanted to scream, to keep fighting, but he knew he had lost.

Everyone had turned against him, and no one would listen to his side of the story. In the end, he could only grit his teeth and drag Eleanor out of the classroom with him.

In the middle of it all, Louis walked casually toward Olivia. His expression was playful, his steps light, as if he had just finished a performance on stage. He leaned slightly toward her and asked with a teasing smile, "So, how was my performance?"

Olivia raised one eyebrow, her lips curling slightly. "You are not worried that Mateo will expose you?" she asked calmly.

Louis shrugged, his face still relaxed. "It does not matter," he replied smoothly. "Even if Mateo does try, nothing will happen to me. The principal will not kick me out."

Olivia tilted her head. "And how can you be so confident?"

Louis chuckled softly, as if the answer was obvious. "Because the principal is my father’s friend. He practically half-raised me. Do you really think he would ever turn against me? Impossible."

Olivia blinked, a little surprised. She studied his smug expression and finally shook her head. "So you really can do whatever you want with this kind of connection," she muttered.

Louis grinned wider, clearly proud. "Of course. In fact, I already used my connection once. I made sure I could attend the same class as my girlfriend."

Olivia rolled her eyes immediately, but she did not correct him.

Deep inside, she could not deny that today, what Louis had done truly satisfied her. Mateo had been acting too slick, too disgusting, and Louis had given him the perfect punishment.

Aurora looked at Spencer, her chest tight. She could not believe how fast the week had gone by. Tomorrow, he was leaving, and her heart felt heavy. She gritted her teeth and forced herself to act fierce.

"If you dare to find another Aurora abroad," she said, her voice shaking but still strong, "I will hunt you down and expose your dirty history with me."

Spencer chuckled softly. He could see how her teeth were clenched, how her eyes were burning, and he knew she was scared. She was scared he might really find someone else, even though she did not want to admit it. He pulled her into his arms, hugging her tightly.

He bent down and whispered into her ear, his voice gentle and serious.

"What dirty history? The time I spent with you was beautiful and amazing, don’t call them dirty. And have you forgotten? I only have one master. For that master, I can forget everyone else. I have always been loyal. I have never even looked at another girl. Isn’t that proof enough?"

Aurora’s body relaxed slightly in his arms. His words reassured her, but she refused to let him see it. She lightly patted his back and forced herself to sound cold.

"If you dare to find someone else, then I will dare to find someone else too."

Spencer’s eyes narrowed, but because she could not see his face, she did not notice. Inside, his heart grew darker. He spoke calmly, "I won’t give you that chance."

Aurora snorted and did not continue. She thought it was just his usual stubborn words. She did not know that in Spencer’s heart, he was already making dangerous promises.

’If anyone dares to come close to Aurora, I will destroy them. No one will replace me.’ But he kept those thoughts hidden.

Finally, Spencer pulled away from her hug. His eyes lingered on her face, but his tone was firm. "It’s time to go on stage."

Aurora bit her lip hard and nodded. Together, they left the classroom, walking slowly toward the entrance. Her hand was trembling, but she tried to hold her chin high.

Then, at the door, something shocking happened. Aurora raised her hand in anger, but before she could even touch him, Spencer moved first. He made it look like she had slapped him across the face. The sound echoed loudly, and everyone in the classroom gasped.

Aurora froze, stunned for a moment. Before she could even say anything, Spencer stepped back, his cheek red as if she had really hit him.

"Aurora!" he said in a broken voice. "Why are you like this?"

The students inside the classroom leaned forward, whispering to one another. None of them expected Aurora to slap Spencer.

Aurora’s chest tightened, but she quickly understood. This was the act. This was the breakup they had planned to fool everyone. She clenched her fists and shouted, her voice full of anger,

"I am done with you, Spencer! You only know how to be possessive and control me every second. I don’t want to live like that anymore!"

The students gasped louder. Some even covered their mouths.

Spencer’s face turned dark. His fists clenched at his sides as he stared at Aurora with eyes full of hurt and anger. "You are overcomplicating things! We can still fix this!" he said. His voice trembled, and it almost sounded too real.

Aurora forced herself to glare at him. Her voice was sharp like a knife. "Never in my life will I ever get back together with a leech like you!"

Spencer’s body shook. His hands trembled as he whispered, "Don’t insult me like that."

Aurora laughed coldly. "Why? Does it hurt your ego? Then let it hurt. I will keep saying it to your face!"

The students inside were completely silent now. Their eyes moved back and forth between Aurora and Spencer like they were watching a drama on TV.

Finally, Spencer’s voice broke. He shouted, his tone full of pain, "Since you don’t want me, then I will break up with you!"

Aurora’s throat tightened. Her eyes burned. She knew this was all fake, part of the act, but hearing those words made her heart ache so badly she almost couldn’t breathe. A tear slipped down her cheek before she could stop it.

The students gasped again. Aurora never cried. She was always tough, always straight-faced, even when she fought against Diana before.

But now she was crying. For everyone watching, this was proof that the breakup was real.

Aurora forced herself to nod. Her voice was low and hoarse. "Fine. Then we are done."

She turned quickly, not wanting anyone to see her face. But the tear had already fallen, and it shined under the light. The students whispered among themselves.

"She really cried..." one girl said softly.

"Then this must be real. Aurora is not acting. She never cries unless it’s serious," another agreed.

Spencer’s chest hurt so much he thought he would collapse. Seeing Aurora cry felt like knives stabbing his heart. He wanted to pull her into his arms, to kiss away her tears, but he forced himself to stop.

His fists shook, and he turned away quickly. Without another word, he stormed off down the hall, his back stiff and cold.

Aurora stood frozen for a moment. She wanted to run after him, to stop him, to shout that it was all just an act. But her legs refused to move.

She forced herself to turn around, her eyes red but her expression strong. She walked back into the classroom, picked up her bag, and left without looking back.

The room was dead silent for a long moment. Then whispers exploded everywhere.

"Did you see that? They broke up!"

"Unbelievable... Aurora actually cried."

"Spencer was so angry. I don’t think they can get back together."

Some students even shook their heads sadly. Others laughed behind their hands, already thinking of how they would spread the gossip around the school.

Deanna, who had been watching with her arms crossed, suddenly laughed loudly. Her voice was sharp and mocking.

"How pathetic. Aurora really is trash. She couldn’t even hold on to something that was given to her like charity."

The students turned to look at her. Some frowned, but no one stopped her.

Deanna smirked proudly and continued,

"Do you all remember? I was the one who donated Spencer to her arms. And yet she still lost him. How disappointing. Girls like Aurora will always be lonely. She will never keep a real man. At best, she will settle for someone less, someone far below Spencer’s level."
