CHAPTER 351: CHAPTER 351: GOOD SHOW-2

Louis led Olivia deeper into the forest behind the university. The path was quiet, lined with tall trees that swayed gently with the breeze.

Birds chirped overhead, and the ground crunched softly under their shoes. Olivia glanced around, frowning.

"What are we even doing here?" she asked, her voice suspicious. "This is the back of the university, not a stage for any show. Don’t tell me you dragged me here just to waste my time."

Louis stopped walking and turned his head slightly, that same playful smile tugging at his lips. "What? You think I brought you here to do something bad?"

Olivia’s eyes narrowed. "Did you?"

Louis chuckled and shook his head. "I would love to take the next step with you, Olivia, but I also love being alive. If I tried something without your permission, I know you’d chop me up and bury me under these trees."

Olivia blinked at his words, and for the first time since they entered the forest, her lips curved into the faintest smile. She tilted her head and said calmly, "At least you’re not completely brainless. You do have some sense after all."

Louis pretended to look offended. "Some sense? Only some? Olivia, you wound me."

"Good," she said dryly, but her eyes had softened a little.

Before she could say more, Louis suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled her behind a thick tree trunk. His movements were quick and smooth, catching Olivia off guard. Her back pressed against the rough bark as Louis leaned in close.

"Hey!" she whispered angrily, her cheeks heating up. "What do you think you’re doing..."

But Louis raised his index finger and placed it gently against his lips. His expression turned serious for once. "Shh. Stay quiet," he whispered softly. "The show is about to begin."

Olivia froze, her words dying in her throat. She frowned but decided to stay silent. Slowly, she peeked around the tree, curious about what Louis was talking about.

Her eyes widened slightly. Just a few feet away, Mateo and Eleanor stood together. The two of them looked tense, their voices carrying faintly through the trees. Mateo’s face was twisted with anger as he waved his hands in frustration.

"It’s all your fault!" Mateo shouted, his voice cracking. "Because of you, Olivia insulted me today!"

Eleanor looked up at him with wide, soft eyes, the picture of gentleness. Her lips curved into a small, pitiful smile as she shook her head. "No, Mateo. It wasn’t me."

"Yes, it was!" Mateo snapped, stepping closer. His face had turned red, his hands balling into fists.

"If it wasn’t for you, how would Olivia know about the smell? How would she know I..." he stopped, clenching his teeth, "...reek of onions?"

Olivia, hidden behind the tree, almost laughed out loud but stopped herself, biting her lip hard. Louis smirked beside her, clearly enjoying the scene as much as she was.

Eleanor’s expression was helpless, but if one looked closer, they could see the impatience flashing in her eyes. Still, she spoke sweetly,

"Mateo, it wasn’t me. You always carry that smell. Anyone standing near you for too long can notice it."

Mateo froze. His pride seemed to crack right there, and his lips trembled with fury.

"Impossible! You’re lying! You’re the one who told her. You wanted to humiliate me in front of Olivia. You wanted to show off!"

Inside, Eleanor was disgusted. Her heart twisted with anger, and for a moment, she wanted to scream or even call her system to teleport her far away.

Mateo was acting like a spoiled teenager high on something rotten. She wondered how this ridiculous boy would one day become a powerful CEO.

But Eleanor knew she couldn’t let her emotions show. She forced her anger down, inhaled deeply, and then put on a calm smile. Her voice was gentle as she said,

"Mateo, maybe Olivia guessed it herself. Maybe my reaction gave it away. But I would never say such things to insult you."

Mateo hesitated, his anger faltering. "You... think so?"

"Yes," Eleanor replied smoothly. She stepped closer, her voice soft like honey.

"Even if I wanted to tell Olivia about us, do you really think I would start by talking about... smells? That would be too silly. I would never embarrass you like that."

Mateo’s eyes flickered. Her words seemed to make sense. Slowly, his clenched fists relaxed.

Eleanor pressed her advantage. She wrapped her arms around him and leaned into his chest, her tone tender.

"I would never share our intimate moments with anyone. I’m too jealous. I don’t want other girls to know about your charm. I don’t want them to be drawn to you like I am."

Mateo’s anger melted almost instantly. His lips curved into a small smirk as he looked down at her.

"You’re ridiculous. You’re only a contracted girlfriend. You don’t need to act so jealous."

Eleanor chuckled softly, her tone sweet as sugar.

"I know. But even if I’m just a contracted girlfriend, I can’t help it. I can’t stand the thought of losing you."

With that, she tilted her head and pressed a kiss lightly on his Adam’s apple.

Olivia shivered in disgust, looking away quickly. "Gross," she muttered under her breath.

Louis, who had been watching closely, shook his head and whispered, "I’ve seen a lot of girls in my life, but I’ve never seen one as fake and disgusting as Eleanor."

Olivia gave him a small, helpless smile. "Same. But I’d rather not watch them anymore." She turned her face away, refusing to look further.

Louis leaned close to her ear, his warm breath brushing against her skin. "Don’t look away just yet. Trust me, you’ll thank me later if you keep watching."

Her curiosity sparked again. Olivia sighed and peeked back through the tree.

The timing was perfect. Just as Eleanor leaned closer to Mateo, two uniformed guards suddenly appeared from the other side of the forest. Their footsteps were heavy, their expressions stern.

In an instant, they grabbed Mateo and Eleanor by the arms.
