In a sh, he froze, looked up at Iris, frowned, and said, “You have a fever too?”
As he spoke, he reached out to feel Iris’s forehead.
Iris looked at his outstretched hand, quickly straightened up and took a step back, her face suddenly turning cold as she said, “Heriberto, do what you should do, don’t cross the line.”
Heriberto looked at her and was stunned for a moment.
“Iris.” At that moment, Aedan, dressed in a whiteb coat, walked into the hospital room.
“Aedan.” Iris turned around and looked at him.
Aedan strode up to her, put one arm around her, then lifted his other hand and let it rest naturally on her forehead.
Right away, his brows furrowed.
“You really had a fever, didn’t you feel it yourself?” he said, with concern and a hint of reproach.
Iris looked at him and shook her head.
“Come back and rest with me. Leave Be to Mr. Hale,” Aedan said, tightening his hold on her hand.
Iris frowned a little and hesitated, then looked at Isabe in Heriberto’s
arms.
The little girl was still asleep.

“Go back, take your medicine and get some rest. I’ll take good care of Be,” Heriberto said.
At that moment, even though his heart had already fallen into a deep abyss, he still had to try his best to look calm andposed on the outside.
Iris nodded, “Okay, thanks for your help.”
Heriberto gave a wry smile, “Not hard.”

Aedan didn’t go back to work, just went with Iris so he could take care of her.
Valeria knew that Iris and Isabe both caught the flu, and Ezekiel was still fine, so she came to Weston Manor with Merlin and took Ezekiel
away.
This way, Iris could get some rest, and also, it could keep the three of them apart and lower the chance of Ezekiel getting infected.
Iris took the medicine, had a nap, and when she woke up, it was already evening.
Aedan stayed by her side, just sitting in the single armchair by the floor–to–ceiling window.
Iris was sleeping, so he just took a book and read quietly.
He saw Iris wake up, grabbed the thermos, unscrewed it, and walked
over.
In the thermos was some herbal tea he had the maid make to clear heat and dampness. Drinking it was good for Iris.

Iris drank half a ss in one go.
“Still got a bit of a fever.” Aedan touched her forehead again, “Anything else bothering you?”
Iris swallowed, “My throat hurt a little.”
Her situation was way milder than Isabe’s, which showed how bad Isabe felt.
Aedan nodded, “Gotta tough it out. The sore throat would probably go away in about two days.”
“I asked the kitchen to make some light food, want to go eat?” he said again.
Iris nced at the pitch–ck sky outside, “You haven’t eaten yet?”
“Waited for you.”
Iris smiled a little and nodded, then got out of bed.
Just washed up a bit, then the two of us went downstairs for dinner together.
The butler had already arranged for someone to send a light dinner to the hospital, all for Isabe and Heriberto, two servings.
Halfway through dinner, Iris’s phone suddenly rang.
It was Heriberto who called.
