“You’re not staying with us?” Iris asked Rachel.

Rachel shook her head, “Mr. Hale always ignored me, it was awkward for me to stay, I’d better go back and be with Nica.”

Heriberto just treated her like she was invisible. Even if she liked him a lot, her heart still got totally shattered.

Danica woke up after eight in the evening.

The first thing I said when I woke up was, “Where’s Everett?”

“Left?” Iris went to help her up, “What, you wanted him to stay?”

Danica shook her head, but as soon as she started, she went “hiss” and grimaced in pain.

Rolled down the stairs, hit her head, she had a mild concussion.

Nathaniel quickly helped her adjust the bed to a 45–degree angle, and Iris grabbed a pillow for her to lean on. She gave her a warning look and said, “Lie still, don’t move around!”

Danica and Nathaniel only became friends because of Iris.

Danica nodded weakly, “Yeah, that was a good idea.”

Iris nced at her and brought her a cup of warm water.

Danica drank half a cup, then suddenly remembered something and quickly asked, “Where are Zeke and Be?”

“With Heriberto,” Iris answered. “Hungry? Want to eat first?”

Danica hesitated for a moment, “I didn’t really want to eat.”

“You have to eat whether you want to or not, or do you want to starve to death!” Nathaniel scolded her.

Danica had to stay in the hospital for observation overnight, Iris had to take care of Ezekiel and Isabe, Nathaniel was a guy and it wasn’t convenient, so they had to let Ameliae to the hospital to stay with her.

Iris and Nathaniel left the hospital when it was already past nine in the evening.

Ezekiel and Isabe were full and tired from ying, and they were already asleep.
