The monster that had burst out of the Goddess's chest had replicated her form. So, if something had emerged from the Demon God's chest in the same way, it should have replicated the Demon God's form.

“What… what is that?”

But that wasn't the case. The figure that entered the temple was not the Demon God, but something that looked like a blend of Aria and me.

The figure had my height and clothing, but the body was feminine, and the face and hair were identical to Aria's. Even though it held the sword Eternal in its right hand, the other hand emitted a golden light, much like Aria's divine power.

There wasn’t a trace of the Demon God’s form in it.

"Maybe it’s been stalking us, trying to mimic us."

It was likely that this creature had been following us, observing us, and then altered its appearance. If it could deceive my detection spells, it could easily mask its presence.

The reason for doing so was unclear, though.

“How disgusting. It’s creepy.”

“Agreed.”

Aria, uncharacteristically speaking harshly, began to gather mana.
