The current director, Erestica, who was once known as Meligor, had founded the academy after defecting from the Demon King's army, holding a grudge against both Mahbat and Elisier.

On the other hand, the Demon King had since been killed, the Demon King's army had collapsed, and the extinction of demons due to the destruction of the Demon God made it impossible for a new Demon King to rise. In a sense, Bellium Academy had achieved its original purpose.

Still, I couldn’t help but wonder why he was treating me so casually. He was lounging sideways, behaving more like a dad watching TV in his undershirt and boxers after work than an Emperor.

He was far more laid-back than when we’d first met in private. Back then, he at least seemed aware of his role as Emperor, but now that awareness seemed nonexistent.

Perhaps this was just another quirk Laura had programmed into him.
