CHAPTER 116: PLEASURE HEALER [3]

Mo Han, examining her hands and face, pressed his thumb gently against her pulse points. Her fingers were thin and frail, her skin pale with a faint grayness at the tips. He tilted her chin slightly, noting the dullness of her eyes, the dryness of her lips.

"You’ve been suffering for a long time," he murmured.

The middle-aged woman bit her lip nervously. "Y-yes... many months. At first it was only coughs and continuous burping, but now... even breathing at night hurts. I can’t eat well. No healer would see me because I could not pay their fees."

Mo Han gave a small nod. "Lay down. I’ll find out what’s wrong."

She hesitated, clutching her patched robe, but under his steady gaze, she slowly climbed onto the cold stone bed, her body stiff with embarrassment.

Mo Han picked up a silver needle from his prepared set. It glimmered faintly as his aura flowed into it, filling the needle with a soft glow. Without hesitation, he guided it to her navel point and inserted it in one smooth motion.

"Ahhh—!" the woman cried out, her back arching slightly.

The sound that escaped her was not one of pain but of raw pleasure, a trembling release that spread from her waist and rippled through her body like waves in a quiet lake. Her cheeks flushed scarlet, her chest rose and fell quickly.

Outside, those waiting near the closed door widened their eyes.

"Did you hear that?" one man whispered.

"That’s not the cry of someone in pain..." another muttered, shocked.

"Don’t tell me—he’s dual cultivating with her inside!" someone exclaimed, horrified and amused at once.

The murmurs spread rapidly like wildfire.

Inside, Mo Han placed two fingers gently on her stomach’s pressure points, guiding his qi in a smooth, warm stream.

Another cry slipped past her lips, this time longer, more desperate. "Ahhh...!" Her voice trembled, and she instinctively clutched at the sheets beneath her.

Mo Han’s expression didn’t change; his focus was razor sharp. He massaged her abdomen in a steady rhythm, directing the flow of her meridians. Slowly, the taut pain in her stomach eased, the twisted energy inside loosening like knots undone. The woman’s expression softened, her eyes half-closing as the agony she carried for months slipped away, replaced by waves of soothing comfort and guilty, addictive pleasure.

She bit down hard on her lip, embarrassed by the sounds escaping her throat, but no matter how she tried, she couldn’t suppress them.

Outside, the gossip grew louder.

"He’s really doing it!"

"Pleasure healer, huh? So it was true!"

"Shameless! In broad daylight, in the Healing Tower!"

One of the younger disciples sneered. "This is outrageous! He’s making a mockery of the Healing Division. He is dual cultivating with a patient!!!"

Smack!

Senior Servant Yan’s hand landed sharply across the young disciple’s cheek. Her stern eyes silenced the hall.

"Shut your mouths!" she barked. "If you cannot tell the difference between treatment and shameless assumptions, then stay silent. This is the Healing Tower, not a marketplace of gossip!"

The murmurs quickly fell to whispers, though many still leaned forward, eager to hear every sound from inside.

Back in the room, the faint glow of qi from Mo Han’s fingers spread across the woman’s abdomen. After a few breaths, a small drop of blood beaded at the tip of the silver needle.

Mo Han carefully leaned forward, studying it. He brought the needle close to the lamplight, rotating it with practiced hands. The blood was thick, darkened with faint specks. He narrowed his eyes, recalling the memories of Leo Reynold that surged in his mind.

"Yes... I see now." He pulled the needle out smoothly and placed it aside.

The woman, her face flushed and body trembling, looked at him anxiously. "D-did you find...?"

Mo Han gave a calm smile. "You have a stomach infection. The meridians near your throat are inflamed, which is why you cough blood and feel pain. But this is not permanent damage. It can be cured completely with the White Lotus Morning Dew. Also avoid Hot food at night."

Her eyes widened, hope flooding her features.

Mo Han took up a strip of cloth paper, dipped his brush into ink, and quickly wrote the prescription with fluid, precise strokes. He handed it to her. "Boil the White Lotus Morning Dew with clear water at morning, drink one cup daily for a week. Avoid spicy food, and you’ll recover fully."

Tears welled in her eyes as she clutched the cloth. She scrambled to her feet and bowed deeply. "T-thank you! Thank you, young master! I... I thought my end was near, but...!"

Her words stumbled over themselves. Her face flushed crimson again, this time not from pain or pleasure, but from shame. She had cried out so loudly, so shamelessly, and everyone outside must have heard her. But as she stepped toward the door, the lightness in her steps betrayed her—her pain was gone, her body felt alive again.

She pulled her robe tighter around herself and hurried out, her face hidden, but her lips curved with uncontainable joy.

The crowd gasped.

"Her face... she looks... happy?"

"No... look at the way she walks. The pain’s gone!"

"Impossible. He treated her that quickly?"

A farmer muttered, "She was half-dead when she came in. I saw her. And now she looks stronger than me."

Shock spread like a wave. For the first time, doubt entered the sneers of the disciples watching.

Senior Servant Yan’s eyes narrowed. She had seen this woman enter in misery many times, always begging for treatment. The difference in her was undeniable.

Without a word, Senior Yan’s heavy steps carried her straight toward Mo Han’s private room. She pushed open the door and entered, her stern gaze locking on him.

Mo Han was calmly cleaning the silver needle with a cloth dipped in spirit water, his movements unhurried, as though nothing extraordinary had happened.

She folded her arms. "So... you treated her."

Mo Han inclined his head politely. "I did what was necessary."

Her eyes were sharp, testing. "Or did you just make her... moan like a fool? Do you really have the skill, or are you simply playing with words and tricks?"

Mo Han met her gaze without flinching. "There’s only one way to know, isn’t there?"

The room grew tense. Outside, whispers filled the corridor once more.

"Is she... is Senior Yan going to test him herself?"

"If she does, we’ll know the truth today."

The Healing Tower held its breath as Senior Yan took one deliberate step closer towards Mo Han.
