In the vast red sky, the mountain eagle and the spirit crane were flying at great speed.

It was like a cat-and-mouse chase. Young Master Dong Ming was continuously making taunting sounds to intimidate Mo Han.

The spirit crane soon caught up with the mountain eagle and began circling around it while keeping up the speed.

"You can't escape, little Han! Stop now and submit to me. Otherwise, I will kill this dirty eagle, and you will die a miserable death by falling down!" Dong Ming shouted while flying side by side.

But ignoring all the threats and taunting gestures, Mo Han continued to fly the mountain eagle at the same pace.

Dong Ming slowly lost his patience as Mo Han completely ignored him like a pauper.

Fed up with the long chase, Dong Ming directly took out his newly bought spear, the Fire Bolt.

"Raining Fire Storm!" he shouted loudly while pointing the Fire Bolt towards Mo Han.

Several fireballs rained down towards the mountain eagle. Jia Kai defended against the fireballs at the last second with great effort.

But the mountain eagle felt fear of the fire and dropped to the lower skies. In the middle of its fall, it balanced itself and regained the same speed.

Mo Han turned around for the first time and stared angrily at Dong Ming.

"Young Master Dong," Shadow Fang immediately stopped Ming from releasing a second attack. "The old patriarch only asked us to deliver a warning and a punch. This way, we might kill him." Shadow Fang said with a serious look.

"So what?" Dong Ming responded with a frustrated grunt. "Do I have to watch him while he flies away? That fellow is not going to stop, no matter how we beg. Today he must die or submit to me. Also, I'm looking for a target to test my new weapon, the Fire Bolt spear. This Han boy is a perfect target." Dong Ming declared as he raised his spear for the next attack.

By the time Ming finished speaking, the spirit crane had reached the mountain eagle.

Just as Ming finished the fighting technique, a big arrow made of fire flew directly towards the mountain eagle, aimed at its heart.

"Ahhh!" Jia Kai cried out in fear, as she didn't have much time to counter the fire arrow. With the two beasts flying so close, there was no chance of avoiding the attack.

Mo Han, in a flash, turned to his side and used the golden talisman given by Soya to be used in a life-threatening situation.

As the golden talisman faded into the air, strange glowing circular patterns appeared before the fire arrow. Suddenly, the arrow changed its direction and rushed straight towards Ming.

It happened in a split second, and Ming had no time to defend. Shadow Fang directly stood before Ming to protect him with his life.

But Shadow Fang was a little late. The fire arrow brushed past his shoulder and struck directly on the chest of Dong Ming.

"Ahhh!" Ming cried out in pain.

Blood spilled all over the spirit crane. Dong Ming collapsed onto its back, his life hanging by a shallow breath.

"Dong Ming!" Shadow Fang cried out in shock. For a second, he did not understand how things had turned so suddenly. Even though seeing blood was not new to Shadow Fang, he was stunned by the sudden counterattack. It had all happened in split seconds.

Mo Han used this opportunity to fly away.

Shadow Fang didn't know whether to turn back and save Dong Ming's life or hunt Mo Han for revenge.

Even if this dog Ming survives, the Dong family will blame me and punish me severely. It is better to capture this Han boy and submit before the Dong family members.

Shadow Fang made a quick decision and commanded the spirit crane towards the direction of the distant mountain eagle.

"Save me…" Dong Ming pleaded in a weak tone as he tried to raise his hand for help.

But Shadow Fang completely ignored him and fixed his focus on the escaping Mo Han.

Dong Ming was stunned by the reply. For a long time, he had doubts about his wives sleeping with Shadow Fang, but this realization made him lose the final bit of life left in his body.

"Mo Han, what should we do now? You already used the last remaining treasure. We can't escape after what just happened," Jia Kai asked in a worried tone.

"Don't worry… whatever happens today, we will stay alive," Mo Han said confidently while controlling the mountain eagle.

"They are coming!" Fatty shouted loudly in fear.

Both Mo Han and Jia Kai turned their heads to take a look at the distant spirit crane.

"Mo Han, we must do something. That spirit crane will reach us in just a few more moments," Jia Kai said, staring at the rapidly approaching enemy.

Mo Han thought for a second, determination filling his eyes. His focus shifted towards a rocky mountain area filled with several boulders on the ground.

Without saying a word, he made the mountain eagle descend towards the ground.

"Brother Han, what are you doing? We'll be killed if you stop now!" Fatty cried out while holding the feather bones tightly.

But Mo Han directed the mountain eagle to land on the rocky mountain area.

From the distance, Shadow Fang also observed what was happening. He was confused by Mo Han's sudden halt.

"Whatever…! This Han boy might have accepted his fate. He's really smart and made my task easy," Shadow Fang muttered to himself, thinking Mo Han was going to submit and plead for mercy.

By the time the spirit crane landed near the ground, close to the mountain eagle, Mo Han was already standing in wait.

While Fatty and Jia Kai hid behind the boulders, Mo Han sat calmly on a small stone with legs crossed.

Shadow Fang, who descended down, was surprised to see the calm and authoritative Mo Han waiting for him.
