Ss decided to add fuel to the fire since Alyssa wouldn’t listen to him anyway. Knowing Axel was in

Jonah, Ss, Sean, and Axel immediately surrounded Alyssa like mother hens, looking nervous as if

she was about to give birth Kneeling on a knee, Axel carefully held her hand against his chest with a

pale face. “Did you pull on your wound? It’s my taut t’s al my fault! Scold me and hit me as much as

you want!” 1

“So, you admit that you’re in the wrong?” She panted softly as her forehead turned sweaty.

“The thought of Alyssa taking the bullet for him brought him a lot of pain and guilt.

“Lyse, I fell bad for you. I couldn’t watch you suffer because of that bastard! We didn’t dote on you and

raise you with love just for him to hurt you. He needs to pay for it!”

“Axel, I will say this onest time.” Tears brimming, she said word for word, “I willingly married Jasper

Beckett. No one forced me to. I know he had someone else in his mind. I knew that he was a cold–

hearted man. I thought that with my passionate love, I could met his heart and make him fall for me.

She went on, “I should be responsible for my choice. It’s all my fault, not his. So, you’d better not give

He had never once frowned when he went on dangerous missions. However, the thought of not

Jonah and Ss exchanged silent, knowing looks. Axel was reluctant to go home. He had no choice but

to oblige to cheer Assau “Alright! I’ll go home with you!”
