I looked at the sole Wolgram in the arena, and looked back on the board, and teared up.

"Ah— Seems like grinding here will be one of my most frequent activities from today onwards." I muttered, as I prayed for my sanity.

"Still— 7 days!?! What the hell happened?! I gotta go back, ASAP" I racked my brain to find the reason what happened after I blacked out, before I made up my mind and willed myself to come out of the temple.

My eyes fluttered open, and the first thing I felt was that each of my hands was currently locked with someone else's.

And when I tried to see who they were, I was stunned… There— Rem and Ram sat on each side of my bed, their heads resting on the free space on each of my sides, while their hands locked mine.

But that wasn't the reason why I was surprised, it was their appearance—

Both of them looked older! Like they were in their 17 year old selves in the Series, complete with the maid uniform and their hair accessories.

The only difference was that each of them had long hair that reached their lower back, unlike their short haired counterparts.

The twins— looked exactly like in their what if versions. One from Sloth If, and the other from Wrath If.

I blanked out, looking at their stunning faces, stunned, as I tried to process this drastic change.

The first thing that came to my mind was that I had a coma, but then ruled that out not long after, because if it really has been years then the Gacha Banner would have been different already.

Considering each Banner lasts only for a month.

My thoughts came to a conclusion, and that was, whatever happened the day of the welcoming party.

The only question is… What really happened back then?

"Nn.."

Suddenly, a soft groan coming from one of the twins sounded, and when I turned to look, I found that it was Rem.

And just like a chain reaction, Ram also stirred from her sleep, and soon opened her eyes.

The two of them looked at me, so I smiled in response and greeted them. "Good morning, sleepyheads."

And before I could react.

"Hisa-nii!!!"

"Hisaki!!!"

The two suddenly jumped and embraced me in tears, making me smile wryly as I patted their backs.

"So… Why do the two of you look grown up now? And why am I also grown up as well?" I asked the two. Hoping to get to the bottom of this. But I was met by an awkward silence, as they looked at each other, unsure what to say.

"Rem? Ram?" I asked them, while I inwardly started to panic.

'What exactly happened that afternoon?' I wanted to ask them badly, but the door suddenly swung open, before my father entered, along with a familiar girl— Seekvaira. But just like the twins, she had grown up to be the same as she was in the series.

Still, something was different about her, as her face was filled with guilt and regret, as she looked at me with a complicated expression.

Father on the other hand, looked at me and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Thank God you're awake son." He called out, and suddenly, Ram and Ram stood up and backed away before the two bowed towards Father and Seekvaira.

"Welcome back, Kaldezar-sama, Seekvaira-sama."

"Welcome back, Lord Kaldezar, and Young lady Seekvaira."

I looked at the twins in surprise, as they actually acted like proper maids, just like their counterparts in the series, but then frowned as I noticed them also acting subservient to my Half-Sister.

"...Rem, Ram. Come back besides me." I muttered, as I looked at Seekvaira with narrowed eyes.

Although hesitant at first, the twins still followed my words right after my father nodded, which made my frown deepen.

"What exactly did you do to Rem and Ram, father… And— why is she here." I asked sternly, worried that they might have done something to the twins to make them act like this in just a week, despite being just 8 years old, the same age as me.

But, instead of Father, It was the twins who answered me instead.

"They didn't do anything to us, Hisa-nii." Rem says, gently shaking her head to let me know my assumptions were wrong.

"Indeed, Rem and I are doing this on our own. We don't want to take advantage of everyone's kindness and not do anything to repay you and everyone else." Rem followed with a nod on her head, her voice, as proud as ever.

I looked at them, trying to spot any signs of them just lying. And sighed in relief, after not seeing anything. Their eyes were clear, and full of purpose and conviction.

Totally unlike a person who lies, whose eyes would try to avoid direct eye contact, as they are filled with guilt.

"... Alright, I'll believe you two. But I still want to talk to the two of you later, when we're all alone." I said, while putting emphasis on the last few words.

I then looked back to my father, who didn't say anything before, respecting my choice to not talk with them at first.

I briefly gazed at my Half-Sister once more, who somehow looked like she was filled with guilt, even more than before.

" Okay father… Can you please explain what happened that afternoon?"

"...I see… so the reason why Rem,Ram, Her, and I are all like this is because of

『Time』 awakening, huh…?" I pondered, before I looked back at my father, and asked.

"Im assuming it wasn't just the four of us who were affected?" I inquired, curious, on how wide the area that I had affected.

"Indeed, it's not just you four. In fact, it affected everyone, not just in the castle, but even the city near here, and a few towns around the castle."My father stated, as he proceeded to explain the effects of my awakening of the family clan's trait.

The effect was so potent, that apparently, the crops which weren't supposed to be ready until months later had ripened in a short amount of time.

What's more, I had also affected the devil citizens, because those who were in their pregnancy, had suddenly found that they were already about to get into labor.

Similarly, citizens who were working hard on expanding the population in the city and towns that were affected had suddenly found that their efforts seemed to have borne fruit rather quickly, as those who were successfully inseminated had already shown signs of being months pregnant in just days.

What's more, Rias, Sona, and the other younger individuals of the same age or younger than us that had attended the party had also simultaneously grown up, just like the twins, Seekvaira, and I.

"I uhh— is this supposed to be normal?" I asked, genuinely confused, although inwardly, I already had the answer I needed.

Because, In the Series, when Seekvaira had used her ability, it wasn't as exaggerated.

Because it merely made time inside the barrier slower or faster than that of the outside. Unlike what I had done— directly affecting every living being in a big radius, and turning their time faster.

And just as I expected, Father shook his head. "No, this is something else entirely. You are a unique individual. Just like Sirzechs who were born as a super devil. You, on the other hand, was also born with a talent regarding our clan's unique trait,

『Time』."

"You see, in the past, our trait didn't just consist of speeding up or slowing down time inside a certain area.

Our progenitor used to be able to control the time of anyone and anything she wished to. Of course, it was only limited to those beneath her and aren't that far off from her strength. But then, somewhere along the line, which is still unknown to anyone in the family, our ability suddenly changed.

It became weaker, and limited. It's like something or someone has put a seal to our bloodline, that made our clan's ability what it is today.

Throughout our family's history, only two people were ever recorded to use our ability to its full potential. First, was of course our Progenitor. The original wielder of our 『Time』 ability. Then came her son, who was the reason why we have our status today. Unfortunately after them, our time ability has become what it is today.

And yet now, after centuries, another one who could freely wield 『Time』 has appeared, and that is you, Hisaki."
