The interview didn’t finish until six-thirty in the evening.

After all the reporters had left, Zhou Yun sat on the sofa, resting with her eyes closed.

After talking for about four hours straight, her brain felt muddled, and she felt rather silly.

Zheng Xiaojue knew Zhou Yun too well; she somehow managed to bring over a glass of iced grape wine and handed it to Zhou Yun.

Zhou Yun took a sip and felt revitalized.

Song Chi arrived.

Seeing the tired expression on Zhou Yun’s face, he felt a pang of pity but didn’t show it too much. Instead, he softly suggested, "Let’s eat something together."

"Sure," Zhou Yun nodded.

The two of them had dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Zhou Yun was too exhausted to speak, and Song Chi understood her, saying before she could force herself to speak, "Let’s just enjoy a quiet dinner."

Zhou Yun smiled at him.

He always understood her.

Zhou Yun quietly finished a small steak, drank a bowl of creamy mushroom soup, and another glass of champagne, which alleviated some of her fatigue.

She sighed and said, "I’m really tired."

Song Chi asked, "Did you have enough to eat?"

Zhou Yun nodded, "Yes, I’m full, very full."

Song Chi said, "If you’re not full, eat some more. You’ve been working hard these days, you won’t last if you don’t eat well."

"I know."

Even though there was a shooting event in Cannes after dinner, Zhou Yun felt lucky to have half an hour of rest now.

Suddenly, a blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman came over, enthusiastically greeting Song Chi.

"Hi, Song!" She spoke in English, although her pronunciation wasn’t very standard.

Song Chi looked at her, somewhat surprised, and said, "Cristina, what a coincidence to meet you here."

The young woman named Cristina nodded, then turned to Zhou Yun and asked Song Chi, "Is this beautiful girl your girlfriend?"

Song Chi nodded and introduced, "Yes, she is my girlfriend, Zhou Yun."

After introducing Zhou Yun to Cristina, he introduced Cristina to Zhou Yun, "Cristina, an actress from Brazil."

Zhou Yun greeted Cristina with a hello.

Cristina bubbled with enthusiasm, "You are really beautiful. I wish I had your beautiful eyes."

Suddenly, Cristina’s eyes lit up and she asked, "Did you act in a movie called ’Life’?"

Zhou Yun nodded with a touch of surprise, asking, "Have you seen it?"

"Of course, I have! I really liked that movie, you were fantastic in it, so it was you!" Cristina asked, "Can I get your phone number? I really like you."

She expressed her liking for Zhou Yun straightforwardly.

Zhou Yun replied, "Of course, yeah."

Zhou Yun and Cristina exchanged phone numbers, and then also their emails due to time zone difficulties that might make calling inconvenient.

"Oh, right, Song, Yun, would you like to hang out later tonight? Mona is hosting a party, inviting many young actors from around the world." Cristina said, "If Mona knows you two are here, she will definitely invite you."

Zhou Yun glanced at Song Chi, saying, "Sorry, I still have a shoot tonight."

Song Chi spread his only available hand and said, "With my condition, I’d better not go."

Cristina’s eyes widened as she protested to Song Chi, "No, you have to come! Yun has work; it’s unavoidable, but we haven’t seen you for so long. Come on! I’ll help you with your wheelchair."

Cristina volunteered eagerly.

Zhou Yun, speaking in Chinese to Song Chi, said, "My shooting tonight might go until after ten, if you’re just staying at the hotel and don’t have other work, it might be good to go for a bit, maybe meet some old friends?"

Song Chi thought for a moment, then nodded and said, "Then I’ll go for a bit, greet everyone and come back by ten."
