?
Kyle stared at the woman bowing before him and shook his head, speechless.
"No need. I am not Azazeal, who had so many people groveling at his feet. Why the hell do you want to be a servant?"
Lily''s face fell, and she clenched her fists. She was resolute in her decision to follow him; if he wouldn''t agree, then she would simply have to follow secretly!
Kyle saw the obsession in her eyes and narrowed his eyes. He wanted to glimpse her future and determine whether he should eliminate her, as he currently had no reason to do so since she had done nothing wrong to him... but he didn''t have this type of ability. So, he decided to ignore her.
He traced a few symbols in the air to conceal his appearance behind a barrier that was affecting everyone, and then he released Bia and Nox.
Kyle''s eyes traveled toward Yue, who became nervous when he finally stared at her. She had glared at him when she heard Lily''s words, but upon seeing his face and his eyes on her, her heartbeat quickened. However, unlike her, he looked completely unfazed. She bit her lower lip.
''I should have anticipated this because I hadn''t changed at all, unlike him, who now had an even more ethereal appearance...''
If only she knew that the aloof Celestial staring at her had a lot of inappropriate thoughts swirling inside his head. His gaze even drifted downward, but the action was so subtle that no one noticed. The reason? It was because the instant he saw her, he recalled what he had thought while he was in the illusions during his breakthrough.
He cleared his throat and cleaned his thoughts. The time and place weren''t right. He wanted to spend time with his wife, but he needed to take care of the issue of his appearance first as soon as possible. The Will of the Universe and the other supreme ranks around tried to talk to him and get his attention, but he treated them like thin air, causing many of them to see red. But they could do nothing because his aura alone was enough to intimidate them.
Kyle flicked his fingers, and the space behind him cracked open.
"I have something to take care of, so I''ll be leaving for a while. Contact me through the communication crystal."
Nine nodded; he understood what Kyle intended to do. That''s why he turned toward the dark phoenix tossed in the distance to search for what they were looking for.
Regius gave a once-over to Kyle and followed suit. Bia wanted to follow Kyle, so she sat down on his head, but he picked her up and placed her on Yue''s shoulder.
"Later."
He murmured faintly, and Bia rolled her eyes when she saw his gaze was fixed on Yue. Just who was this ''later'' supposed to be for? She was ready to bet all of Kyle''s fortune it was definitely not for her. Of course, she wouldn''t bet her own.
Yue grasped his sleeves and suddenly reached out to straighten his clothes, even though they were stained with blood.
"En."
Currently, her thoughts were a jumble. It was because Kyle had gotten too strong too fast, and he was very handsome.
She knew that there were many powerful people who had more than one wife, but she didn''t want to share him. That was the only selfish wish in her heart.
That''s why she wanted to have some time alone to sort out her thoughts. However, it was as if Kyle could read her feelings; he reached out to rub her back.
"Don''t overthink. You are the only woman I will love and care for in this life. Unless we have daughters in the future."
Yue''s eyes widened, but the one who had just made her flustered had already turned his back toward her, leaving her with a red face. The heat even spread to her nape.
spiritual treasures.
Perhaps the main reason this land wasn''t attacked by anyone was that Kyle had once mercilessly killed every single person from the dark side in this land to cleanse it.
While Nine, Regius, and the others were healing and resting, Bia decided to torture the dark phoenix, who had finally regained consciousness.
She wanted to kill it, but when she found out that the phoenix''s bonded companion had died
in the war, she devised another plan.
Nox didn''t like her idea at all but felt powerless to stop her. Bia transformed into her human form and rubbed her hands as she stared at the dark phoenix, which was in his massive beast
form, with a smirk.
-"Hey... I have an offer for you. You either accept it or die. Choose."
She anticipated resistance but was left bewildered when she heard his response, which held
no hesitation.
"I accept."
Bia stared back at him with suspicion.
-"Don''t you want to hear it first?"
However, the dark phoenix simply directed his gaze at the spiritual chains around his legs and
the powerful barrier surrounding him. As if that wasn''t enough, Bia and Nox were using their authority to force him to obey. He was only at the divine rank, while they were both at the
transcendent rank.
"Do you think I have a choice? It''s either death or I switch sides. I can wield dark energy, but
that doesn''t mean I pledge my allegiance to them."
"I am quite fickle, you know."
He smirked. They could kill him. He was bored anyway and had nothing to do, so dying wasn''t
so bad either. But it was a pity he couldn''t obtain the supreme essence Ceano had promised
him.
Still, he didn''t regret anything he had done. It was thrilling, and if given the chance, he would do it all over again.
