It didn''t take Kyle long to sense the dark symbols binding the man''s soul, and he waved his hand to perform a test.
The person screamed in horror when he saw icy flames materialize before him, but he could only cry as they engulfed him.
Kyle clicked his tongue and felt as his flames infiltrated the man''s body. His control over his flames was exceptional, so in just a few moments, they discovered the man''s soul and, without harming it, started consuming the dark symbols binding it. He frowned as he noticed how the symbols were wrapped around the soul, holding it in a vice-like grip. With one wrong move, he knew the man''s soul would be destroyed.
It felt like many years of torment for the man, but in reality, only a few seconds had passed since Kyle unleashed his icy flames, and he was already done. The moment he retracted his flames, the man dropped to his knees, trembling from the cold. He felt as if he had been fed a lot of ice, and his body was enveloped in a layer of chilling frost.
Kyle stared down at the trembling figure before his feet, gasping for air.
"You are no longer bound by the dark contract. Use your life wisely this time and help your people."
The man''s eyes widened as the meaning behind his words dawned on him. He was a demi- human, forced to sign a dark contract after the people of his planet lost.
He finally took a good look at Kyle''s figure and saw his tall, bronze-skinned, muscular frame with dark hair and gray eyes before choking out a few words of gratitude.
"Tha... nk you..."
He blinked, and Kyle had already disappeared. Thus began the tale of the young, tall, bronze- skinned man who was hailed as the one who would finally save the universe, unaware that he had no such plans and was just testing his strength.
Kyle appeared in the sky. The supreme ranks of the dark race, who had previously been immobilized by his formidable aura, were released when he stopped using his Celestial aura and narrowed his eyes. The supreme ranks easily discovered him, as he was the solitary radiant figure engulfed in icy flames, illuminating the dark planet.
But they were hesitant to attack; many of them were even considering fleeing. They had sensed his aura and realized they were no match for him. So what was the point of fighting and dying? It would be better to just contact the shadow generals and call them to eliminate this powerful enemy. However, no one could escape because Kyle used an array to seal the planet.
All the supreme ranks from the dark race were mercilessly killed, their bodies left in ruins, instilling fear in the weak enemies in the surroundings. The planet''s inhabitants were shocked beyond words when they saw how those who had just moments ago been tormenting them and killing their loved ones were eliminated so easily.
Kyle looked around. The teardrop symbol on the back of his neck trembled, unable to conceal his appearance when he used too much power, and his eyes turned green, glowing in the darkness around him. That otherworldly scene was etched in the minds of all who witnessed it.
They watched as, under the simple gesture of his hand, a powerful ice domain descended, enveloping the entire planet in a frigid embrace, as if the very essence of winter had come to claim its dominion. Massive ice spears materialized in the sky, piercing the air with a chilling grace.
The people of the dark side cried out in horror as they witnessed the scene unfold before their eyes, their hearts pounding with fear. Yet, despite their desperate attempts to flee, they could not escape the onslaught when the ice spears surged forth, impaling their bodies with ruthless precision.
When Kyle was finished, an eerie pin-drop silence enveloped the entire planet. No one dared to breathe, not even the numerous monsters lurking in the ruined forests.
The whole planet was engulfed in ice structures and the lifeless bodies of those from the dark side. The sky above, which had been filled with smoke, the scent of blood, and inky darkness, was now filled with tiny sparks of ice cascading down like delicate crystals, blanketing the land in a surreal, glistening embrace.
Kyle sucked in a deep breath. His fingers trembled, not from exhaustion but from the thrill and adrenaline that accompanied such immense power.
He murmured behind him with a curious expression, causing Alec''s soul to nearly fly out of his body as he jumped away in shock and alarm, having not sensed him.
Immediately, Alec unsheathed his sword and swiftly pointed the glistening sharp tip at Kyle''s neck with narrowed eyes.
"Who are you?"
He shouted, his voice echoing and attracting everyone''s attention.
Jian clicked his tongue. They had just saved this planet from the dark side when they sensed a
powerful herb treasure on the planet and came to get it, only to discover that it was guarded by a beast. Who would have thought that while they were getting the treasure, an unknown tall man would dare to sneak up on them? He wondered if the man was here for the treasure as
well.
James and the others also assumed a defensive stance against the tall man. No one had sensed him approaching, so they were prepared to fight if he attacked and turned out to be from the
dark side.
Asher, who had taken the treasure-a tall grass with silver patterns-tossed it into his mind''s space while observing the tall man. Jian glared at him, and he rolled his eyes.
"I don''t need it. I have plenty of treasures in my mind space. Take it from me when we find out
who this person is."
Kyle''s eyes flickered with a hint of amusement as he stared at the sword pointed at him. He
was taller than Alec, making his presence intimidating.
"You ask who I am? I''m just a passerby."
Alec had a bad premonition. He quickly asked the system about this person when he saw the
mischief in those gray eyes, as if they were itching to deliver a beating.
''Who is this? Why does he give off such a familiar vibe?''
But who would have thought that his system would suddenly ditch him and vanish when Kyle
stared at it directly?
