    Jian erupted into wild laughter as he heard the words of his past self. He was worried about Kyle? That jerk who was currently the strongest person among them?!

    "Do you really think Kyle would die so easily? Then you don''t yet know the real him. He wouldn''t die even if death itself arrived to forcefully take him!"

    He raised his finger and flicked his past self''s forehead, sending him hurtling into the gap behind him.

    A smug smile appeared on Jian''s face as he watched his past self''s fading figure, but the smile vanished when a hand slipped out from the crack of time he had come from and forcefully grabbed his collar. Kyle''s chilling voice echoed from the crack.

    "Just how many times do I have to tell you not to meddle with the past, or Azazeal will do the same and end us all."

    Jian felt like crying. He knew he was in real trouble this time! Kyle had asked him not to interfere with the past, but he did just that. Kyle sounded angry! The hand gripping his collar pulled him back into the crack, and the crevice vanished into nothingness.

    After he vanished into the crack, the lost treasure tomb erupted in a dazzling array of luminous particles, scattering like ethereal fireflies in the darkness. In real timeline, Kyle stared at him with solemn eyes.

    Jian chuckled, only to cough up more blood. His state resembled someone who had just endured a life-and-death battle, with blood oozing from every inch of his body. He had gone back in time for a short while, and he looked half dead; if he had stayed any longer, he would have definitely died.

    Nine and everyone else who could finally move after Kyle broke Jian''s power wanted to confront the red-haired man. Sinon, in particular, was eager to beat him. However, Jian flashed them a smile and chose to faint, leaving them all at a loss for words.
