CHAPTER 554: I AM PREGNANT(END)

[Fifteen days later]

Inside the luxurious room, Ashley stood in front of the mirror. Checking her look for the last time, she then turned and looked at her friend.

Alice’s belly had grown big from the last time she visited her, whereas Gwen she too saw to glow after embracing motherhood.

A smile made its way on her face and she asked," How do I look?" her eyes moved between the two girls.

"Tristan is going to faint. I swear Ash, you look stunning in that wedding gown" Ashley couldn’t help but feel shy.

Turning back towards the mirror Ashley adored the beautiful wedding gown that Tristan customized for her.

It was an off-shoulder gown with an elegant neckline that gracefully framed her shoulder. Crafted with luxurious lace and satin, it fitted perfectly on her body, seamlessly flowing into a flowing mermaid silhouette. She looked captivating and sophisticated. The design beautifully combined modern style with a touch of classic charm, making her look stunning on her special day.

While the girls were busy getting ready, Noah and Karl tried to calm Tristan who was getting nervous all of a sudden.

"Dude, you are behaving as if Ashley is going to run away. Don’t forget you are already married" Noah said passing Tristan a glass of water.

Karl shook his head in dismay and helped Tristan tie the bow.

"Yes, boss. You just need to relax"

Tristan gulped the water and passed the glass back to Noah. "Don’t know what’s wrong with me. I should get anxious but I stop getting nervous"

They said it was the bride who usually gets nervous on her wedding day, but in this case, it was different. The bridegroom was going restless.

"Okay now calm down. Here follow me" Noah brushed away his thoughts and tried helping Tristan relax.

Soon the venue started filling with the guests. The family member occupied the front seat.

"We will be next" Gabriel whispered to Bianca who too settled on the chair with the rest.

Bianca blushed hearing his words. After the kidnapping incident, Gabriel had been more protective towards Bianca. He realized how he couldn’t live without her and how important she was in his life.

Without wasting another day, Gabriel went and asked Arthur for Bianca’s hand, to which he gladly agreed.

"Ahem, I am sorry to interrupt you but it’s us after them" Gavin poked taking the seat with Jenny.

"You wish" Gabriel glared only to get teased by Gavin the next second.

Soon the host announced and everyone’s eyes darted toward the bride.

Ashley walked along with Richard with a smile gracing her lips. Her eyes brightly stared at Tristan as she recalled their time together.

From having a one-night stand to becoming a couple, every memory rushed through her mind and her eyes welled up.

Tristan extended his hand to Ashley. All his nervousness flew away the moment he saw his wife in front of him.

Resting Ashley’s hand on Tristan’s, Richard took a step back.

Everything seemed to fade as they stood in front of each other.

Tristan liked a girl but was too cowardly to confess his love for her. But an unexpected truth brought them closer and here they were marrying each other, again.

The priest began to recite the vow with Ashley and Tristan repeating it. Every word they said came from their heart as they promised to love each other forever and in every lifetime.

"Now you may kiss the bride" the priest announced and Tristan lifted the veil from Ashley’s face and leaned forward to seal her lips.

"I love you" Tristan said pulling back.

Ashley smiled at his confession and soon brought his hand to her stomach," I am pregnant" she announced leaving everyone stunned but soon the entire venue started to cheer congratulating the couple.

Tristan slowly withdrew from his shock and pulled Ashley for a passionate kiss.

"Woah!!!" the crowd screamed clapping for the couple.

Ashley reciprocated his kiss with the same passion as they poured their love for one another. Their happiness doubled with the arrival of their baby and now everything seemed perfect.

[Three months later]

Inside the emergency room, Alice was screaming her lungs out. She was about to birth to her child however with every push she left her vagina tore apart.

Not only did she curse Noah, but also forced him to watch her give birth.

Noah who was standing next to her bed shuddered every time Alice screamed in his ears. More than the birth giving Noah found himself on the verge of passing out.

He never thought delivering a child would be so stressful that he promised not to have another child anymore.

The pain Alice was going through scared him to death. Swearing profoundly Noah tried to ignore his state but soon another scream reached his ears and everything turned blank.

"You think Noah is fine?" Karl asked Tristan. They two rushed to the hospital to console his friend who was going crazy the moment Alice had her first contraction.

"I told him to stay with us." Tristan sneered.

"But Alice, she needed him" Karl exclaimed.

Tristan knew Noah wasn’t strong enough to see Alice give birth, but he couldn’t ignore his wife’s request and joined her inside.

Standing away from the door, Karl and Tristan heard Alice scream, and the middle of everything the door flung open, and half unconscious Noah was dragged out of the ward on the wheelchair.

"Mr. Wayne. Your wife doesn’t want you inside anymore. So please refrain from coming inside" the nurse said and returned inside the ward.

"..."

"..."

"Dude.." Karl rushed towards Noah and saw him slowly open his eyes whereas Tristan was too shocked to react.

"What happened to you?" he asked out of concern.

Karl wasn’t as weak as Noah, but watching his state, he couldn’t help but panic.

The sight of Noah being dragged out was so overwhelming that it suddenly drowned them. Taking a step back, Karl returned to stand next to Tristan and gulped.

Noah wasn’t in the state to talk about anything but his lack of response was a warning for the two of them who were soon going come back here and go through the same situation as him.
