    Within the Ruins at the center of the Plague Lands.

    While Shin was fighting against Morax within the Ancient Battlefield, Cloe was currently facing a siege against the members of the Corrupted Cult stationed within the ruins.

    The people that she was fighting were one of the branches within the evil organization, which longed for the experts of corrupted energy. It was a different faction that Immortal used to belong.

    If the faction where Immortal belonged was meant for Corrupted Necromancers and Evil Summoners, then these guys that were chasing after Cloe belonged to the faction of Corrupted Mages and Wicked Sorceress.

    At this moment, Cloe was facing a person, who was considered as the pillar of the players within the faction – just like how Immortal was in the other faction.

    She was what they called a Messager of the Cult.

    "It has been a while, White Witch of the Eternal Light," greeted a woman, who seemed to be a Wicked Sorceress given the set of clothes that she was wearing.

    Based on her appearance, it seemed like she belonged to the branch of Corrupted Race, which was neither an undead nor a human.

    She looked like a human on the surface, but her pale skin signified that it was not that simple. Her somewhat glowing skin after reflecting the light looked more like a piece of jade rather than a skin of a person.

    There were also some marks on her face, particularly on her left cheek, which signified that she belonged to a certain Clan within the Witch Race.

    Her seductive body could not be hidden by the loose robes that she was wearing, making her appearance very tempting, especially after matching with her beauty.

    "Oh! You are called the Gentle Goddess right now. I have almost forgotten about it," she added as he walked calmly after seeing Cloe stop running.

    Cloe only stopped because Grimrace and Blackie suddenly disappeared while they were leading her. This could only mean that something unexpected happened on Shin''s side, forcing them to be summoned.

    Even though she fully trusted Shin and his capabilities, she still could not help but feel a little worried due to the sudden disappearance of the two elements.

    The combat techniques that she was showcasing this time were never the same as when she was fighting alongside Shin and the others.

    This time, aside from the healing techniques and auxiliary methods, she was in full-offensive mode, where she never stopped casting her spells and utilizing the best tactics that were supposed to be meant for mages such as multi-casting, over-layering magic, combination spells, and all.

    Multiple black magic circles appeared behind her. Each circle represented a different spell, signifying how powerful she was to silent-cast multiple spells at once. Moreover, there were a few advanced spells mixed in them, which were acting as the center of the less advanced spells.

    Then they later formed a huge magic formation meant for a more advanced spell.

    "Try this, Arelle! This is one of my new inventions!" Melania continued as she pointed forward, releasing the power of her spell.

    Seeing the incoming attack, Cloe calmly teleported away to create enough distance from the incoming beam of dark energy.

    She then slammed the bottom of her staff on the floor, sending an intense ripple in every direction.

    At the same time, an array of golden magic circles appeared behind her, forming an even larger magic circle filled with complex patterns composed of mysterious holy runes.

    Each magic circle linked with one another and formed a more complex one compared to the previous appearance that they had.

    Within an instant, the entire spell was automatically activated and suddenly fired a golden beam of light that transformed into a giant holy spear.

    It flew straight to the incoming spell that her opponent had sent earlier, seemingly trying to pierce through it.
