    When Yamamoto Yu walked out, he saw Ji Wei sitting cross-legged on the sofa, eating something.

    "The grapes are so sweet. Bring me two more bunches."

    Ji Wei pointed to the fruit te that had only a few grapes left, speaking with her mouth full, her words muffled.

    However, just from her gestures alone, the maid understood. Just as she was about to turn to fetch them, she saw Yamamoto Yu walking out with his cane.

    "Miss..." The maid hesitated, unsure if she should go get the fruit.

    Yamamoto Yu nodded, "Whatever she wants to eat, go ahead and get it."

    The maid replied affirmatively and left.

    Yamamoto Yu sat down nearby, watching the woman eat enthusiastically. He smiled, with a hint of helplessness, "Are you really nning to stay here long-term?"

    "Yep. Since you won’t let me go, I have no choice but to hang around." Ji Wei, without hesitation, grabbed a few more grapes.

    After eating for a while, Ji Wei noticed Yamamoto Yu still sitting there. She suddenly extended a hand toward him, "Mr. Yamamoto, lend me your phone for a bit?"

    Yamamoto Yu chuckled, "nning to call Mr. Gu, aren’t you?"

    Ji Wei nodded straightforwardly, "Of course. If he can’t find me, he’ll be worried."

    Yamamoto Yu only smiled without taking any action. Ji Wei pouted, "Stingy!"

    "Miss Ji is a clever woman; you should understand my difficulties."

    Of course she understood — this old fox wasn’t going to let her contact Gu Moqian so easily. She had only said it casually earlier.

    Ji Wei felt rather annoyed.

    With that said, Ji Wei didn’t care whether Yamamoto Yu agreed or not. She turned and left.

    The loud sound of the door being kicked startled the pair, who spun around in shock. When they saw a woman leaning casually against the doorframe boldly observing them, the woman gasped in fright and scrambled under the covers.

    "M-Mr. Ji... Who is she?!" The woman, like a startled deer, pointed her bare arm at Ji Wei and shrieked.

    When Ji Chuyang saw Ji Wei, his expression darkened instantly. He grabbed the nket to cover his exposed parts while nervously hiding the object in his hand.

    "Why is it you again!" he growled, his face full of frustration.

    Ji Wei somehow produced a fruit knife, twirling it in her hand yfully. The corner of her lips curled with mockery as she stepped toward Ji Chuyang.

    "W-What are you trying to do?" Ji Chuyang stammered, his face drained of color in fear.
