She didn’t find her boyfriend’s shock surprising at all. After all, Aegis Group is so high and mighty and out of reach, she never thought she’d actually get an interview there, so it’s normal for him to be surprised.

Jasper drove his girlfriend to her building, reluctantly planting a kiss on her forehead, "Good night!"

Laura’s face flushed with shyness, and under her boyfriend’s watchful gaze, she went upstairs.

After she left, Jasper rolled down the car window, lit a cigarette; Laura got into the translation department of Aegis Group, and in the popular third team no less...
