Rebecca Quentin had just walked into the room when she heard her phone ringing inside.

This ringtone struck her heart with as much tremor as the doorbell earlier...

Looking at the unfamiliar number displayed on the phone screen, Rebecca Quentin pressed the answer button with some trepidation, "Hello..."

It wasn’t that person’s voice coming from the phone, but a gentle, elderly woman’s voice, "Hello, Miss Quentin, I’m Doctor Jessica Henley from XX Hospital."

"Hello, is there anything I can help with?" Doctor Henley was the doctor who performed the ultrasound for her a couple of days ago.

"It’s like this, today I inadvertently heard Doctor Robinson mention your health condition, and I suddenly remembered that I didn’t perform a more thorough examination when I helped you with the ultrasound a few days ago... So, I would like you to come to the hospital again this afternoon, before I leave for a conference out of town. As Rebecca Quentin finished the call, Christine Quinn’s curious voice already rang out, "Who called you?"

Rebecca Quentin turned to see Christine Quinn entering the room and replied, "The doctor from XX Hospital, she wants me to go for a check-up this afternoon."

Putting the phone back on the table, Rebecca Quentin said, "Sis, I’m going to get ready for the hospital. I’ll need you to look after Andrew this afternoon."

"I’ll go with you!"

"No, it’s not good to take Andrew to the hospital. You should stay home and look after the two kids!"

"Alright, you be careful, call me if anything comes up."

After the check-up, Rebecca Quentin was ready to leave the hospital when she coincidentally ran into Chester Robinson.

Remembering that Chester Robinson had given her a ride home last time, Rebecca Quentin greeted him in the corridor, "Doctor Robinson."

Chester Robinson was about to return to his office but stopped when he saw Rebecca Quentin and politely asked, "Why are you at the hospital again?"

Rebecca Quentin responded, "Doctor Henley was unaware of my health condition previously, so she asked me to come in for a check-up."

Chester Robinson suddenly realized, "Maybe it’s because I accidentally mentioned you during our conversation this morning."

"Haha."

Chester Robinson then asked, "How did the check-up go? What were the results?"

"Nothing serious, similar to what you told me last time. I need to continue taking medication to support pregnancy and supplement nutrition."

"Hmm, as long as there’s no problem."

"I’m heading out, Doctor Robinson. Let’s have dinner together sometime."

Chester Robinson suddenly frowned, "Are you planning to take a cab back?"

Rebecca Quentin nodded, "Yes!"

"It’s raining outside, you know?"

"Huh? It’s raining?" It seemed like the weather was fine when she arrived!

Chester Robinson softly said, "You’re lucky, I’m just about to clock off, let me give you a ride!"

Rebecca Quentin’s eyes lit up, "If it’s no trouble, I would greatly appreciate it." Hailing a cab in the rain really isn’t convenient!"

Chester Robinson said, "Wait a moment; I’ll go change my clothes."

"Alright."

On the way back, Rebecca Quentin sat in Chester Robinson’s car, quietly watching the rain hitting the windows.

Chester Robinson glanced at the rearview mirror and suddenly said, "You look beautiful today."
