CHAPTER 13: START RECORDING

The reality show "Shining Stars" has already sparked a wave of buzz just by releasing promotional photos, making people even more excited.

Mia Sutton has been with the show’s production team for several days now. Besides taking promotional photos, she’s been doing basic training, and during this time, she’s called Jensen Sterling a few times.

Jensen Sterling has also been busy with a new movie recently, working tirelessly day and night.

"Shining Stars" has officially started recording. This variety show has a total of 99 contestants, and in the end, nine will form a group, limited to a tenure of two years.

Since reality shows have been quite lackluster recently, the production team put in a lot of effort, inviting mentors who are quite famous in the industry.

There are four mentors in total. One is a pure dance mentor: Chester Sheffield.

After the mentors took their seats, the initial stage evaluations officially began.

This time, the production team also put in significant effort, finding contestants that are really quite good. Some are indeed very strong and even come with their own fans.

As for Mia Sutton, firstly, it was to give Cameron Grant some face, and secondly, for the show’s effect. The latter is the main reason; the production team deliberately placed her as the last one to be assessed.

Such tactics are very common everywhere, using some people to boost the show’s popularity and kicking them out at the end. This was naturally their plan.

While they gave Cameron Grant face, he never asked for any backdoor deals or anything. He probably is just casually playing along.

This way, they gain popularity without affecting the final group members, truly beneficial to the production team without any harm.

The initial stage assessments are divided into team and personal parts. Of course, everyone’s time is limited, with individual performance time not exceeding three minutes.

Though it seems long, the final cut won’t be particularly lengthy, as some less competent ones will be directly edited out.

Mia Sutton sat in her seat, resting her chin on her hand, watching the performances on stage with great interest. After all, those who participate in auditions typically don’t look too bad, so watching them is quite enjoyable.
