CHAPTER 35: INTRODUCING MIA SUTTON

The banquet was bustling with people coming and going, most of whom were discussing business matters, but some were paying attention to Jensen Sterling’s movements.

When Jensen Sterling brought Mia Sutton over to talk to Clark Jacobs, many eyes were on them, especially Mia. Many people were covertly observing her, speculating about her relationship with Jensen Sterling.

After all, Jensen Sterling had never brought a female companion to such occasions before. Of course, there was also the possibility that this time he simply wanted to bring a date.

Only those with some connection to Jensen Sterling would go over to ask, and every time, the man introduced Mia very seriously: she was his wife.

Later, Jensen Sterling led Mia to one side, where there were fewer people, bringing a rare sense of tranquility amidst the noisy setting.

A few people were sitting there, and before long hearty laughter rang out from time to time.

Someone spotted Jensen Sterling and waved him over: "Julian is here, come, come, quick over here. We were just talking about you, and now you’re here, how timely."

Mia followed Jensen Sterling over, casually scanning them, and after a few seconds...

Mia concluded: They’re all business moguls!

They were all around sixty, and a few of them were familiar to Mia from financial news outlets.

Jensen Sterling walked over and nodded slightly to them: "Mr. Jiang, Mr. Fang, Mr. Song..."

Mr. Fang smiled at the sight and said, "Julian is still so steady. I’ve heard that old Mr. Sterling plans to step down in a few years, and you’ll be taking over."

"Who would disagree, such a young talent. We old folks will retire sooner or later, and then the world will belong to these young people. If my rascal had half of his talent, I wouldn’t worry so much."

Everyone laughed and chatted, but Jensen Sterling responded casually, not overly enthusiastic.

Seeing this, the elders understood Jensen Sterling didn’t want to discuss this topic, so they naturally changed the subject.

Old Mr. Jiang took a sip of tea and said with a smile, "Sit down. You’ve been standing all this time; people might think we’re bullying you."

Upon hearing this, Jensen Sterling sat down with Mia and replied with a light smile, "Uncles, you’re joking."

At some point, Mia’s hand that was holding Jensen Sterling’s arm was now being held, and she didn’t even realize it.

Old Mr. Jiang chuckled, looked at Mia, and said with a smile, "Julian, aren’t you going to introduce the young lady beside you to us old folks?"

Jensen Sterling smiled slightly, "Of course." Then he looked at Mia with a hint of laughter in his voice and a much softer tone, saying, "This is my wife, last name Sutton, first name Mia."

As soon as he said this, the group of business moguls beside them were instantly taken aback.
