Carroll muttered, "Mr. Schultz is just awful. I mean, Ms. Quinn used to—"

If Carroll hadn''t brought up Yvonne''s old feelings for him, Dan might have held it together. But as soon as someone mentioned the past, he got that look- annoyed, bitter.

Yeah, back then, she''d given him everything. Now? Nothing. Not a damn thing.

She''d p him for Xander. She''d turn against him for Susanna. Everyone else seemed to matter more to her now. The little corner of her heart he used to upy? Gone. Completely taken over by Xander.

Dan snatched up his phone and dialed Xander''s number. It barely rang before Xander picked up.

Dan didn''t even give Xander a chance to speak. He snapped, “Xander, just you wait!"

He was seething. The nerve of this guy-nting spies around him, blowing up his house. Dan was not about to let this go.
