Chapter 355 – Aiko’s looting spree!

    Aiko walked inside the house through the overly elaborate human-style doors. She was surprised that the Piss Monkey would adapt human-like structures.

    The first room was a huge hallway. It looked like some sort of dining room coupled with a throne room.

    Aiko looked around curiously. There were no support beams supporting the roof, yet this place was very huge.

    The tables were already set with wooden plates and everything, which shocked her.

    There were 8 tables with about 16 chairs each, but there were a lot more monkeys outside than that, so this place was probably for the higher ranking ones.

    ''But I have not encountered any high-ranking monkeys other than that Golden Monkey...'' Aiko tilted her head, something was amiss. They were either hunted by others, or outside hunting for something.

    Aiko narrowed her eyes and dashed forward. There were 4 doors on each side and additional doors on the second floor.

    The second floor was very narrow, so Aiko started over there, but she only found bedrooms up there.

    Aiko whistled at the beautiful bedrooms. Each was filled with furs from different Beasts, a large bed with a night table and an additional table just for sitting.

    Each room was slightly different, but Aiko was really impressed by them... so much so that she just took anything and everything that was not bolted down!

    She moved quite quickly through the bedrooms. Most furs weren''t bolted down, so they were the first ones to go. Then you had some small Beast Cores lying here and there, so Aiko took them too.

    The looting just started, but there was already a ruckus outside.

    Aiko ignored that and finished her looting the second floor of this hall, it was time for the first floor.

    Those rooms each contained something else. One was full of weapons from Cultivators, another was full of food, and so on.

    There was a lot to loot, but Aiko was not interested in most of them.

    Don''t get her wrong, she would still take them, but she would distribute them to her team.

    Aiko had no interest in swords or other crude weapons, so she would not use them.

    However, there was something that piqued her interest.

    ''Is this some kind of sling?'' Aiko observed the two strings connected to a small patch of leather. It also had weights around the leather to make it heavier and increase the impact.

    Aiko was very interested in this, since she was limited in the power of her throws and this would allow her to extend her range too! A perfect weapon for her.

    Aiko carefully stored it and moved onto the next room.

    The food looked fine, but Aiko felt like there was something off about it, so she left it there.

    In another room there were armours. Treasures from Cultivators that died or were robbed by these shameless monkeys.

    Aiko took all of them once again, it was unlikely that she would be able to loot so much again. She still had a decent amount of space inside her [Tails Storage], so she would use this opportunity to fill it up completely.

    Going into another room. It was a place with many beds. It seems like this was the discounted version of the second floor. There were no furs or anything interesting, but there were a few Beast Cores.

    Aiko shook her head. The other rooms were in a similar fashion, but something felt strange.

    "I did not find anything of high value..." Aiko found this suspicious.

    The ruckus outside was also getting louder and louder, so Aiko had trouble thinking.

    She walked outside the room, to see what was wrong, but the main doors were pretty much glued shut by an uncountable number of threads.

    The jumping spider was playing with the doors, weaving more and more threads into it to reinforce it.

    The monkeys were locked out of this place, since there were no windows.

    The light was given from chandeliers that had small glowing gems embedded into them.

    Aiko didn''t take them yet, since she didn''t put much thought into her looting, but now she could appreciate their beauty.

    -60M HP

    Aiko''s [Little Nightmares] were shattered without resistance. The arm that she used to defend, likewise bent and broke.

    The force sent her flying onto the soft bed.

    Aiko coughed up blood since she incurred a lot of damage and everything about her body was messed up.

    "I didn''t think I would encounter such a high-quality Fox." The deep voice said.

    It was a huge monkey, but this one had black fur. His presence was non-existent, even fainter than what Aiko could achieve if she combined all of her Skills and Abilities.

    "I will straighten up your behaviour before taking back my Treasures." The huge Monkey cracked his knuckles as he approached her.

    Aiko coughed up blood again. ''I definitely should take this bed with me.''

    [Movement Techniques are suppressed! It will take more time to activate them!]

    Aiko frowned. This was a problem since she couldn''t take another hit from him.

    "But I''m surprised. I didn''t think you would be able to survive that hit..." He shook his head. "Most of my toys can''t survive past the first hit." He sighed. "Ah, right."

    He suddenly threw something at Aiko.

    It was a small ball of shrivelled legs. Aiko''s Beast Familiar!

    She was badly injured, but she was still alive. The little Spider would be able to recover with time.

    Aiko didn''t feel anger, since she first needed to leave this place before making her plans.

    The Black Monkey cracked his knuckles once again and winded up his attack.

    Aiko gently touched the bed and waited patiently.

    The Black Monkey threw his fist at her and Aiko stored the bed into her Storage Ring.

    The attack barely missed her as it obliterated the wall behind her.

    [Movement Divine Ability Activated!]

    At that moment the system rang and Aiko disappeared with her shadow movement Divine Ability.

    "Boss." The second Golden Monkey was scared of his leader''s aura.

    "We can still find her. I was able to implant some of my energy into that wound, so I can locate her as long as she is inside this Secret Realm." The Black Monkey said.

    "Should we start the search?" The third Golden Monkey asked gently.

    "Yes, let''s do that- What?!" The Black Monkey was shocked, since his energy mark disappeared.

    He roared in anger, almost destroying his home!

    ...

    Aiko appeared a long way away from the Monkey Fortress. It cost her a whopping 100 million Stamina to do that!

    But she was now safe. There was strange energy inside her, but it was being sucked up by something, so Aiko ignored it. She had more pressing matters on hand.

    Her legs were fine just brushed from the aftershock. As for her arms... only one was usable and the other one was pretty much fucked. Fortunately, the fucked one was her left hand, so she would not be as limited when it came to day-to-day things, but it would be troublesome if she needed to use both.

    Fortunately, the bone is only badly fractured and not completly shattered, so Aiko can still set her bones and let them regenerate.

    Aiko''s hair changed colours as the Moon Aiko came out. She would be the perfect healer in this situation, especially if she uses her Divine Sense!

    Or at least that''s what Nightmare Aiko thought...
