Cursed Bloodline: Awakened a Hidden Class in a Game World
Chapter 42: Killing Goblins
CHAPTER 42: KILLING GOBLINS
The fist collided with the face of the goblin. It smashed into it, bones cracking, skull shattering, blood splattering. The fist went halfway through the head, and the body was lunged through the air like a rock that was thrown.
It slammed into the wall and fell to the ground dead before exploding into particles and leaving a small green crystal the size of a thumb.
The crystal was a monster crystal, and it was mostly found inside dungeon beasts, and on rare occasions, normal beasts—but not in a starter region like this. It was in the more difficult parts of the realm.
Grey looked at his fist after the punch. He felt exhilarated after taking down that goblin. He immediately got into a full martial arts stance, his hands stretched out and legs spread apart.
The goblins rushed at him, two coming toward him and the other two rushing toward Zane. Grey stepped forward, punching hard. The goblin tried to block the punch, but the force shattered its hands and slammed into its head, splitting the skull. Blood shot out like a geyser.
He planted his feet in the ground, spun around and sent a kick into the chest of the next goblin, shattering its ribs, pushing the bones back to stab into its lungs and heart, killing it there.
Zane, on the other hand, was faster and more efficient. The first goblin leaped into the air. He stepped back and slashed forward, the blade going through the neck and decapitating the goblin easily.
He quickly switched into a reverse grip hold and stabbed into the head of the second goblin, ripping it out through the side with force and splattering blood on the ground.
The bodies of the goblins all vanished, and the crystals were left.

Zane picked up the crystals. Normally, he could quick-sell these directly to the guild without even going there, but that was in the game. Now he would have to do that himself.
He placed the crystals in the inventory but tossed one to Grey. Grey caught it and looked at it.
Zane pointed at it. "That right there is the way by which we will get rich, Grey. Each one of these goes for a measly silver coin.
Now, to a normal person, a silver coin is good feeding money. But to adventurers, they need to maintain their items, so that silver coin vanishes easily.
That’s why adventurers would keep coming back over and over again, barely making any profit. But that’s not the same for us, because we have more stamina, so let’s get rich," Zane said.
He walked past Grey and went deeper into the dungeon. It didn’t take long for them to find a bigger group of goblins, this time a total of ten rushing toward them, holding rusted weapons in their hands and screaming as they attacked.
Grey and Zane lunged forward at the same time. Zane spun his dagger around into a reverse grip. The first goblin lunged at him, razor tip ready to bite.
Zane stabbed from above. The dagger went through the top of the head into the brain and out into the mouth. He pulled it out and grabbed the goblin by the head, using the body like a whip, slamming it into the next goblin so hard it shattered its neck bone.
The two bodies shattered into dust and left their crystals.

Grey went into full boxing. A goblin leaped at him. He dodged to the side and sent an uppercut into the body of the goblin, shattering the ribs all the way to the spine, killing it in one blow.
He spun around and kicked the head of another goblin clean off, before lunging at the rest. He moved fast and vicious. Zane watched in shock. Grey really knew how to fight, and that was a fact.
Zane only took down three goblins while Grey took down the rest of them. He stood there with blood dripping from his fist, but there was a look of satisfaction on his face.
"Is it me, or do you like fighting?" Zane asked.
Grey let out a nervous chuckle and scratched the back of his head.
Zane let out a sigh. He picked up all the crystals and set them in his inventory.
"A level 2 NPC capable of taking down goblins easily? That’s something new." A voice reached Zane and Grey’s ears.
They both turned and saw a party of five. Zane could swear that he didn’t sense anyone, so how did they get close to watch them?
They were all players, and they had on clean-looking gear, so he could tell they had some wealth.
The leader was a man with blonde hair tied into a ponytail. He had on silver armor with gold trims and a sword at his side. His eyes were golden like his hair.
The man to his side was evidently a ranger. He had on light clothes, but they were made of very good material. A bow hung on his body and two small daggers by his side.
The third guy was a tall, bulky man, but not too big, and he wielded a magical staff and donned a mage’s robe.
Behind them were two ladies. One had on questionable armor that revealed far too much of her pale body, and a long sword by her side.
The last lady had some sort of priestess garment on, covering everything. Just by looking at each of them, Zane could tell what their skills probably were.
"You were spying on us," Zane said.
"No, no, no. We only just happened to see, and it pulled our attention. Allow me to introduce us—we are the Golden Dragon Guild," the leader spoke.
"A guild of five people?" Zane said.
"No, no. We have twenty members right now, but we five are the executives of the guild," the man said.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. I’m bored of this discussion. Goodbye," Zane said.
