CHAPTER 103: CHAPTER 103: HIS ATTENTIVENESS

Looking at the neatly folded bedding on the bed, Ye Anxin felt a surge of guilt.

The butler entered, carrying a tray, and respectfully said, "Sir, dinner is ready!"

Ye Anxin asked curiously, "Uncle, didn’t you have enough to eat tonight?"

The butler explained, "Madam, this was specifically prepared for you by the sir! Everything was eaten by Mr. Yan, and you didn’t have a single grain of rice, so the sir had the maid prepare dinner for you."

Hearing this, Ye Anxin looked at Mu Beiting but saw him awkwardly turn his head away, not looking at her.

Ye Anxin put down the book in her hand, pulled a chair to the opposite side of the desk, and said with red eyes, moved, "Thank you, uncle! You are so good!" Then she picked up the chopsticks and started eating heartily.

Mu Beiting lowered his head without replying.

Even without a response, Ye Anxin’s heart was filled with gratitude.

Although he didn’t like to talk and was cold to others, he was very attentive! Earlier, she was focused on watching Yan Qinghan eat and forgot to eat herself! She didn’t notice because she wasn’t hungry! But he had noticed!

He even specifically went downstairs to have the maid prepare dinner for her!

When back in the study, Ye Anxin didn’t disturb Mu Beiting but returned to the sofa to sit down and continued reading the book she hadn’t finished.
