CHAPTER 111: CHAPTER 111- TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF HER

But understanding how tired he was, Lilian quickly said,

"You should wash up and get some rest early."

"No worries, let’s talk a bit more," he replied softly.

Then he asked,

"What did you buy today?"

Lilian began listing all her purchases, though she didn’t mention the lingerie—she wasn’t sure why she obediently bought it, and didn’t want to confess.

After hearing her, he sounded a little disappointed.

"You didn’t buy what I wanted to see?"

Lilian wanted to firmly say no, but hearing the disappointment in his voice—and knowing he’d had a long day—she hesitated and stumbled over her words. Morrison instantly knew she had bought it.

His tone instantly shifted to something more flirtatious.

"Put it on for me to see. We’ll video later."

"No, no way!"

Lilian quickly refused,

"You—I—just no!"

Trying to shut down his shameless ideas, she hurriedly added,

"I’ll just send you photos of the lingerie later."

Then she hung up. There was no way she’d video call him wearing that. Just imagining the hungry look in his eyes made her weak.

She fetched the lingerie, carefully laid it out on the bed, took a photo, and after hesitating for a while, finally sent it to him.

After she hung up, Morrison took a shower. When he came out, he received her message—and the moment he saw the photo, he felt blood rush to a certain place.

It was pure torture.

His fingers flew over the keyboard as he quickly sent her a text:

"Let’s stay one more day, then head back."

Originally, they planned to stay until the weekend. But he couldn’t take it anymore. Once back, they could at least see each other face-to-face—hold each other, kiss, and do what he wanted.

Here, she stayed at Dave’s place all day, while he was holed up in a hotel. They hardly saw each other—it was unbearable.

Lilian read his message. She had expected him to comment on her lingerie choice but instead he talked about leaving early. She was confused.

"Why? Didn’t we say we’d stay until the weekend?"

Morrison replied:

"I don’t want to keep going like this—unable to see each other or do anything. It’s too painful."

Lilian’s cheeks flushed on her end. So that’s why he wanted to come back early—to be able to get close, to cuddle and be intimate again.

Honestly, she missed him a lot too. Since the banquet ended last night, they hadn’t seen each other at all.

The thought of having to maintain this distance for several more days, all the way to the weekend, was unbearable for her. So she simply replied with one word, softly:

"Okay."

Coming back early was fine—after all, she wasn’t nursing a broken heart anymore. She just wanted to be with him properly.

Morrison smiled at her reply, thinking, What a obedient girl.

In fact, all his past women had been obedient like this—whatever he said was law. But somehow, with her, it felt different.

Was it... love?

He wasn’t sure if that was the right word to describe the feeling stirring in his heart.

With those other women, he never felt this way. Maybe because he understood their motives all too well, so love never crossed his mind.

But with her, it was different. He knew she was simple and genuine; every action from her came straight from the heart, with no hidden agenda.

That—he decided—was real love.

So... has the little girl fallen in love with him now?

She obeyed because she loved—because of that love, she indulged him and willingly followed his lead.

Being loved by her like this felt strangely wonderful.

It was like a gentle stream, quietly flowing through his heart, inch by inch nurturing the deepest corners of his soul.

Morrison and Lilian stayed one more day in A.T before heading back. Morrison told Dave he had some business to take care of and asked him to check if Lilian wanted to leave with him.

Lilian agreed to go together—she was a little scared to travel back alone.

So Dave approved, and in front of Dave and Laurent, the two of them acted like casual friends with a distant relationship. But as soon as the car pulled away from Dave’s house, Morrison took Lilian’s hand.

Later, on a quiet stretch of road, he found a spot to stop the car, turned to her, and pulled her into a kiss.

They hadn’t seen each other much these past few days, and even when they did, their interactions were brief and restrained. But the more they suppressed their feelings in front of others, the stronger the craving grew.

Morrison’s kiss was passionate, and Lilian responded with equal warmth. Pressed close together, their breath mingling, the temperature inside the car rose steadily until they both had to pull away, gasping for air.

If it weren’t for the inappropriate setting, they would’ve gladly indulged in more.

Morrison held her close, his heated lips brushing her ear as he whispered,

"Let’s find a hotel—"

Lilian blushed deeply and shook her head vigorously,

"No, no! My brother will definitely call and check the time. If we don’t answer, he’ll worry."

Morrison persisted,

"Just say we were delayed on the road."

Lilian still refused. She also felt that meeting up just to do that kind of thing was awkward.

Not wanting to push her, Morrison gave her lips a firm suck before starting the car again. They had waited all these days; there was no rush.

They got onto the highway and drove steadily, the ride calm and comfortable. The long journey wasn’t so hard with someone by her side.

However, after a while, the sky turned sour, and rain began to fall.

Before leaving, Lilian had checked the weather forecast for both A.T and Burg Eltz—both were supposed to be clear. She hadn’t expected the rain, which looked like it was getting heavier.

Morrison slowed the car down. Lilian leaned her head against the window, frowning.

"The rain’s getting heavier... what should we do?"

"It’s okay, I’ll just drive a bit slower."

Morrison’s voice was calm and reassuring.

"You can trust my driving skills—I’m an experienced driver."

Lilian, resting her head against the window, glanced back at him with a skeptical look. Lately, the term "experienced driver" had become quite the joke. Coming from him, she couldn’t help but feel that his so-called driving skills hinted at more than just handling a car.

Yes, it was an unspoken implication about his expertise in other areas too.

Catching her expression, Morrison’s lips curved into a sly smile.

Lilian pulled out her phone to check the local weather forecast and immediately felt a pang of frustration.

"It says there’s going to be a heavy downpour—like a storm!"

Morrison frowned slightly at the news of the torrential rain.

As the rain poured down, all the cars slowed considerably. Everyone drove cautiously, prioritizing safety in the wet conditions.

But no matter how careful, accidents still happened.

Not far ahead, a car skidded on the slippery road and crashed against the safety barrier. Lilian gasped in fright.

Seeing her tense face and pale complexion, Morrison furrowed his brows and suggested,

"Let’s take the next highway exit and find a place to rest. We can wait until the rain stops before continuing."

Lilian felt a warm relief wash over her. She turned to him and nodded eagerly,

"Okay."

Given the weather and road conditions, she knew continuing on the highway was just too dangerous.

And since he took the initiative to wait out the storm, she was more than happy to agree.

They exited the highway at the next closest junction. The rain had only grown heavier. Morrison carefully maneuvered the car along the signs into the nearby city — a mid-sized town.

Situated between A.T and Burg Eltz, town wasn’t as bustling or economically developed as either city, but its climate was pleasant and the air quality excellent.

The two found a hotel in the city and checked in just as the rain poured relentlessly outside.

Lilian immediately called Dave and the Burg Eltz family to update them about the heavy rain and explain they’d stopped to rest for a while.

Dave and Tiffany had no objections—they agreed that staying put during such a downpour was the right call. It was simply too dangerous to keep driving in that weather.

After finishing her calls, Lilian went to the bathroom to shower. She was still damp from the rain when they got out of the car, feeling uncomfortable and sticky.

Morrison also called his parents to check in. Just as he finished talking with Linda, he received a call from Dave.

"Lilian told me about the rain. You’re at a hotel now?"

Morrison answered smoothly,

"Yes, the rain was too heavy. Lilian looked really nervous and scared, so we stopped."

Dave’s voice carried concern.

"Lilian is still young. Please take good care of her, especially since she’s a girl staying in a hotel alone."

Morrison chuckled softly.

"Don’t worry, I’ll take very good care of her."
