[3rd POV]

After finishing their meals at Ichiraku ramen and leaving, the trio decided to head to the Uzumaki clan compound where Naruto offered to let them stay, which Wanda gratefully accepted. She didn't want to have to return back to the Bookstore and sleep there, or go to some inn or hotel.

That and she wanted to sleep in the same place as her new son, so she was more than happy to accept his offer. The compound had dozens of bedrooms and was absolutely massive, as it once housed a lot of people, but now only held one of the last remaining Uzumaki.

Wanda would find the rest of them in the future, mostly for Naruto's sake. As he deserved to meet the rest of his family, even if they were only cousins or distantly related. That, and Wanda felt bad for the Uzumaki family. As after looking into the past, she knew that they had been all but betrayed by Konoha, who didn't respond to their plea for help, even after they sent several messages for aid.

It was because of this that Wanda did not like or trust Hiruzen at all, as she knew that he had seen this. And it wasn't just this, but also the fact that he had been keeping Naruto's inheritance from him, had been turning a blind eye to the horrible treatment he was receiving from others, and was overall, just being awful towards the boy.

Walking through the halls of the large compound, Wanda glanced at all the paintings. They were beautiful and detailed paintings of their homeland, Uzushio. They were large paintings, with what looked to be portraits of various leaders of the clan, and other important figures to their people, including Mito Uzumaki.

They were inscribed with seals and all sorts of runes, likely in order to keep the paintings from degrading or being destroyed by anyone. It was a smart countermeasure, should the compound ever somehow get broken into, which was nearly impossible considering how powerful the seals were.

The current generation was awful at seals in comparison to the older ones, as the Uzumaki clan were the ones that invented a large majority of the seals that people used, like the storage seals, explosion seals, and all sorts of other ones.

Without the Uzumaki, the sealers of the current age had stagnated horribly, and were not growing at all. With Jiraiya being the best sealer in the world at the moment. Minato had been excellent when he was alive as well, but he wasn't alive anymore.

Meaning that Naruto was the last chance for the prime of the Uzumaki clan to return. Wanda would make sure to teach the boy, as she knew sealing and runic methods that made even the Uzumaki look like children. She owed Kushina and the Uzumaki that much at least.

"Do you think I can ever visit there? Uzushio?" Naruto asked, as he glanced at the painting. This was his clan's homeland, and he very much wished to see what it looked like, even if it was destroyed by now.

"Of course. But I will warn you, that the sight might not be pleasant, Naruto" Wanda responded with a nod, finishing with a warning. She didn't want her son to go there without being mentally prepared for what he might see, as what happened to that place, what the invaders did to those people...it was horrific.

"I know Mama, I already read a lot of books on it. About the invasion and what they did to them. I...I just want to see what it looks like, and if there is anything left for me to take back, like some books or something" Naruto said, hoping, praying inwardly that there would be something there once he traveled to the lands in the future.

"Alright then, we'll go down there soon. And I am sure there is something there, Naruto. Your clan is simply too skilled at seals to leave behind so few books or scrolls. I believe that there is likely a vault that is sealed somewhere in the lands, and if I am right, then you'll be able to enter that vault. So there's no need to worry, alright honey?" Wanda said softly, as the boy nodded slowly, giving his mama a soft hug.

"Thanks Mama" Naruto muttered as she just rubbed his head, before the boy leaned back and began to lead her through the compound again. Milim was already running around the compound, exploring all the nooks and crannies of the place, as while it was nothing in front of some of the palaces she had seen, it was still somewhat impressive. Especially the seals.

They eventually found the living room, at least, one of them. Attached to it was a large kitchen, which lacked any ingredients or anything to make food, and instead, had a lot of instant ramen that Naruto seemingly ate.

Wanda saw this, and frowned.

"Naruto, why do you not have any ingredients for cooking? And why do you only have instant ramen?" Wanda asked, as Naruto flinched looking a little embarrassed as he was caught.

"W-Well it's easier to just make instant ramen! Plus it still has nutrients, since I got the ones with vegetables and meat. It's also cheap and delicious!" Naruto responded, hoping that he wasn't about to get reprimanded for this.

He was.

"Naruto, you need more than just some ramen and dried vegetables. You need proper nutrients, protein, and actual food besides some ramen. Things like meats, vegetables, fruits. And since I am here now, I'll be making sure that you eat something more filling" Wanda said with a determined look on her face. The boy could only watch as she snapped her finger, his kitchen beginning to get filled with all sorts of ingredients for food.

The instant ramen was put into the pantry and locked away, so that he would eat some proper food for the entirety of her stay in the compound. She also decided that she would need to teach him how to cook some good meals, so that he wouldn't try to go back to the all ramen lifestyle. Because while ramen was fine every once in a while, it was not something he could solely eat, it simply wasn't good for him, even with him having chakra.

"B-But" Naruto started, only to stop as Wanda's head snapped to him, her eyes narrowing as if daring him to say something. The boy flinched, as he felt the weight of a mothers gaze for the first time. And while he never had one, even he could tell that it was best to listen to his mother.

"Okay Mama...I'll listen to you" Naruto said, a small pout on his lips as her narrowed eyes turned into a smile.

"Good! I'll also be teaching you how to cook, so that you can use that knowledge in the future should you ever need it. None of my children are going to be caught off guard by anything, and I want to make sure that both you and your sister can take care of yourselves should I not be there" Wanda said, knowing that there were universes she planned on traveling to that were simply too dangerous for them.

Universes that made Tensura look like nothing. Universes that could contend with the likes of Marvel and DC at their peaks.

"Really?" Naruto responded a bit surprised, the idea of learning how to cook from his Mama sounded...strangely fun. She was a really really good chef, so surely if he learned from her he could become a good chef too.

"Of course. I'll teach you all sorts of nice recipes that you can use. I'll even teach you how to whip up a meal when you're on those missions of yours, as well as how to tell what is edible and what isn't" Wanda said with a smile, already having a plan for how to teach Naruto. She was sure that Milim already knew that latter part, so that was more so for Naruto. Poison also didn't really affect Milim, so that didn't matter much either way.

Naruto cheered at the response, excited to learn from Wanda, while Wanda giggled.

"I'm glad you're happy, now, how about you go find your older sister for me, while I begin whipping up dinner, hmm?" Wanda offered, as the boy nodded and ran off, but not before giving her a small hug.

Watching as he ran off, Wanda smiled, as she looked back to the ingredients and grinned, one thought on her mind.

'...Time to make a meal!'
