CHAPTER 37: DUNGEON IN DUNGEON (6): DRY BONES SHALL RISE AGAIN

Confirming that Matt’s watch had died which means there is ninety-nine percent rate that he’s dead. From that day, Eira distanced herself from others.

When the school teachers heard that she awakened her Requiem, they were all shocked and she was the center most of the academy.

It turned out that Eira had awakened a Legendary Requiem, every dream of a Requiem cultivator. She became the number one talent in the academy and was accepted by old figures as their disciple.

They didn’t mind pouring resources for her as it showed her talent was divine. They also tried to make her forget about Matt.

Due to Matt’s death, Eira had made a vow that she and devils are irreconcilable enemies from now on. She would continue to hunt devils until they are all removed from Earth.

A month passed in a blink of an eye, Cultivation was like eating for Eira, she entered Requiem Apprentice a month ago but now she has just entered Requiem Adept.

Since she came back from the dungeon, she was focused on Cultivation and with her talent, it didn’t take long for her to cross a big realm.

This very day she was cultivating before she felt restless, before she knew it, tears began to drop from her eyes.

She felt confused about what was happening now, she cleaned her tears, but the more the tears rushed out. Her heart grieved as if she had lost something important.

Eira’s body shook at this feeling, "Matt..." she cried out.

Immense pain surges through her body at the moment, but she wasn’t concerned about this. She ran out to the academy meeting one of the teachers which was Teacher Elizabeth.

"Teacher, please can you save Matt, he’s in danger," she cried out before teacher Elizabeth.

Teacher Elizabeth was shocked by the sudden arrival of Eira, when she heard her words, she shook her head, "Eira, you need to know that the dead are gone,"

"He’s not, I can feel it," Eira Roared, shaking her head against Teacher Elizabeth.

Before she could say anything, an intense pain struck her heart, it was as if it had split into two.

Her mind couldn’t bear as she lost consciousness, causing panic in the academy.

When she was checked, they found out no injury happened to her which made them confused.

But from that moment Eira’s heart died, it had become an ice heart where no feelings dwell in it.

"I guess it’s our turn now, hahaha, you really brought death to yourself," The Ancient Blade Devil smiled, looking at the Supreme Devil.

Their body was already faint, their soul began to wither turning to basic soul energy that would return to the world.

The Ancient Blade Devil was lower than the Supreme Devil in terms of soul and race which made it wither fast.

"I would be waiting for you," He said, his soul wither away,

The Supreme Devil saw this, half of his soul has withered away.

Meanwhile at this moment, in Matt’s body where the tree of vein was and the two broken hearts.

The two broken hearts moved for a moment, the soul energy of the Ancient Blade Devil was getting absorbed into it, even that of the Supreme Devil.

All their devilish energy and soul energy were absorbed into it. If one could peer through it, you would see a broken fragment of soul that emitted white light, all the soul energy was absorbed into it.

The broken fragment of the soul increased in size, becoming a full and complete soul.

But it wasn’t a white soul like every soul, half of it was white, the other was black, radiating darkness and a devilish aura.

The changes didn’t stop at this.

The broken heart began to beat, not a single beat, but both hearts were beating separately at the same time.

The remaining soul energy was absorbed into them, both broken heart began to heal up, getting regenerated, with them pulsating.

They didn’t fuse back to become a single heart, but become two hearts.

The Supreme Devil instantly felt it, the pulse of life in Matt’s rotted skeleton.

"Even dry bones rise when the will refuses to die; alas, death itself cannot silence a mind that still remembers how to live."

The Supreme Devil muttered when he saw this, he quickly cut off his soul with the outside world in order for it not to be devoured, because he could feel that Matt was in deep hunger.

The two hearts needed energy, and the only source was the chained body of the Ancient Blade Devil as the Supreme Devil had sealed himself.

Matt’s dry bones turned into dust, only his veins that exist independently was surviving and his heart.

His remaining organs of his body began to float, they were still in order as if he had his skeleton and flesh.

One of the hearts shook, A large vortex emerged from Matt’s body, Devouring everything around him. His bone dust was absorbed into the vortex.

The next victim was the ancient devil flesh that was before Matt.

The vortex began to devour the flesh, it broke down, devouring it off. As this two hearts absorbed this energy, they beat faster, pulsating with energy.

As for the devilish energy, they were tonic to it as it couldn’t affect Matt again.

Before long ago, What remained of the Ancient Blade Devil was its bone

The hearts didn’t stop there, the other heart shook too, it didn’t release vortex, but a strange energy moved towards the bone, and began to extract the energy in the bones.

Those energies were absorbed into Matt’s vein. Before long, the Ancient Blade Devil bones turned into dust, out of energy.

A vortex appeared, not leaving the bone dust alone, a whole Blade Ancient Devil was absorbed.

The two hearts best faster, the next moment, an aura was released from Matt, it climbed every second, devilish energy was released from him.

Matt’s aura was close to the Ancient Devil Blade strength, and then the transformation began.
