I looked at the skeleton floating behind Luniman as I muttered those words.

Luniman shouted loudly as he raised the staff overhead.

Dozens of skulls glowing in purple were released from Jonas' spirit body.

All of those skulls came toward me.

Urzottle kicked the roof of the building to escape from the glowing skulls.

However, the skulls were even faster than Urzottle.

I swung my sword toward the incoming skulls.

The skull that got hit by my sword crashed against the wall and exploded.

Right at the next moment, the surrounding walls turned purple and began to crumble down.

It seemed to be a projectile that corroded everything it touched.

Since Luniman was borrowing Jonas' power to unleash that magic, I wouldn't escape unharmed if even one of those skulls hit me.

Had I not had the weapon given by Lunaire, 《Hero Sword; Gilgamesh》, the sword's blade would have crumbled upon touch.

「Dear me, to think that such an attack still fell short of finishing you off. I get it, I get it, my dear master! This man must be the last obstacle to my faith! Then I'll go all out to kill him!」

Luniman raised his staff again.

Another horde of purple glowing skulls was released from Jonas' spirit body.

「There's no end to this… Ur, let's charge ahead! Let's bring it on!」

「WOOOOOOOOO!」

Urzottle started moving in circles to shake off the chasing skulls, then charged straight toward Luniman.

「Foolish lost lamb! How dare you challenge Jonas-sama, a God, head-on!」

Luniman held his staff aloft.

Light overflowed from Jonas' spirit body again, which then transformed into skulls.

It seemed he planned to make me crash against his ghost magic.

「Time-Space Magic, 19th Rank《Gravibomb》!」

The black light of my magic enveloped Luniman.

The dispersed skulls suddenly stopped moving at once.

「Uhm… This! Impossible!」

A hint of panic appeared on Luniman's face.

The black light then converged into a single point.

Jonas' spirit body, along with its corpse, was drawn toward the center of the black light, compressed, and crushed within.

Then it imploded outward along with a loud explosion and a thick cloud of dust.

「Yosh, I did it!」

When the dust cleared up, Jonas was clinging to Luniman as if protecting his disciple.

The corpse was crushed by the time-space magic, its limbs and body breaking beyond recognition.

However, by the time Jonas had stepped away from Luniman and stood behind him once again, all of his injuries had miraculously healed back to their original state.

「Damned otherworlder! To think that you're strong enough to deal damage to a god like Jonas-sama.」

Luniman spoke with undisguised anger on his face.

「What a tough corpse!」

Him being level 5000 wasn't just for show.

Even the destructive power of 《Gravibomb》 couldn't do anything against that corpse.

「PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!」

Urzottle charged straight toward Luniman.

Surely, I had dealt damage.

It seemed Ur had decided that now was the best time to attack.

I raised my sword.

「TAKE THIS!」

I slashed at Luniman with 《Hero Sword; Gilgamesh》.

However, Jonas' arm caught the blade.

It turned into a contest of strength, but I was at a disadvantage.

I was clearly overpowered in the contest of strength.

When it seemed like Jonas was about to push me back, Urzottle quickly stepped back.

Urzottle was moving in a zig-zag, dodging the skulls of the tracking ghost magic.

「Thanks, Ur. That was a close call.」

Truly a troublesome opponent.

Not only could he not be defeated with magic, but he also left no openings for physical attacks either.

In terms of brute strength, my opponent was superior.

Jonas blocked the incoming fireball with his skeletal hand.

The blazing flame didn’t faze him at all.

Right after, the skulls of the ghost magic swarmed the dragon's body, landing relentless strikes.

The dragon, whose body turned purple, quickly escaped to the sky.

The body of the dragon that fled into the sky decayed at a rapid pace. Its right arm fell off in no time, decaying completely.

「Is that the 《Progenitor Dragon; Drigvesha》? … What is it doing here?」

Luniman narrowed his eyes and glared at the dragon fleeing into the sky.

However, as soon as the dragon was enveloped in rainbow-colored light, its decayed body quickly regenerated, returning to its original form.

「W-What the?」

Luniman let out an annoyed voice.

「Spirit Magic, 8th Rank《Laelaps Fang》」

A magic attack was fired from on top of the dragon.

A lightning wolf sped through the sky, charging straight toward Luniman.

The lightning wolf exploded, but Jonas easily deflected it.

「We're coming to assist you, Kanata-san!」

I could see Pomera shouting from above the dragon.

It seemed she came to lend a hand after seeing that I was struggling.

「It seems we got an additional two bugs.」

Luniman squinted his eyes, glaring at Pomera.
