"Were you not paying attention?" said Naoko to Evalyn. "We can feel his emotions. Just like he can feel ours. So we know he genuinely cares about it. I know he sees me as more than just a fuck toy because I know what he’s feeling when he looks at me."

The other girls nodded, especially Madison, who had more reason than any of the other girls to appreciate the significance of their soul bonds.

"I don’t know," said Miranda. "If he soul bonds Analise and Robin, that will make seven. Seven girls, seven days of the week. Kind of symmetrical. If we let her join our inner circle, it will break that symmetry."

"I don’t think she has much in common with the rest of us. It seems like all she’s interested in is her career and popularity," said Samantha. "So I agree that she doesn’t qualify for Jack’s inner circle. As for servant or outer circle, I honestly don’t see much difference between the two."

Katie and Madison nodded along in agreement.

"Naoko?" asked Jack.

She sighed, then said, "You said she has a chance to get promoted later, so... I agree with Samantha and the others."

"What about servant versus outer circle? Is there really a difference?" asked Samantha.

"There is," said Jack. "I’d go for maximum control with servant, but maximum oversight with outer circle. And with servant, she would have no role in my life other than to serve, but with outer circle she might have a chance of friendship."

"I can’t believe I’m saying this," said Madison, "but I vote for outer circle. The way Isabella acts around Jack creeps me out, and I’d rather not have another one of her around. Besides, Evalyn already said she wouldn’t bother Jack knowing what she knows now, so I think it’s safe to just go with outer circle."

"Does anyone vote for obedient servant instead of outer circle?" he asked.

The girls all looked at each other and shook their heads.

He asked Evalyn a few more questions to determine if she was involved in any criminal activity, but she was clean in that regard.

"Do you have any questions of your own?" he asked Evalyn.

"Just to be sure I understand: the soul bond will make it impossible for me to reveal your secrets or take any action that would harm you?"

"Correct."

"And it will cause me to become loyal to you faster than would be expected, but if you mistreated me, that loyalty would evaporate just as fast as it would without the bond?"

"Correct."

"And you can make it so we can sense each other’s emotions and cannot lie to each other?"

"Correct."

"And you can make it so that I will obey you if you give me a command?"

"If I chose to go that far, yes."

"And if I accept the soul bond, you’ll allow me to keep my career and won’t force me to have sex with you, but if I refuse, you will destroy my career and render me a non-threat, but won’t actually kill me?"

"Correct."

"If the soul bond prevents me from harming you, why would you need to go further and make it so I have to obey your commands?"

"The soul bond will make it so that you cannot take any action that you know will cause me physical or emotional harm. It will not stop you from trying to take advantage of me to my financial, political, or social detriment."

"Ah, okay. But if that’s the case, then why even consider this outer circle option? If you’re worried I’ll take advantage of you, and this outer circle doesn’t give you the ability to command me, then how would you prevent me doing so?"

"Because with outer circle, I would still make sure I can read your mind, whether you want me to or not. And I’ll also establish full control over your body, so if I don’t like the direction of your thoughts, or plans, I can punish you no matter where you are."

"So with servant you would establish control over both my body and my mind, with outer circle, you would only control my body and read my mind, and I’m guessing with your inner circle you don’t control either or read their minds?"

"Not quite," he said.

"He controls my body," said Naoko cheerily.

"And mine," said Samantha. "But that’s because we want him to have that power over us."

"So, you two are submissives?" asked Evalyn.

Naoko and Samantha nodded.

Turning back to Jack, Evalyn asked, "So, I’ll just have to trust you not to command my body to spread my legs for you?"

"Yes."

She sat in silent contemplation for a few moments before asking, "If I wanted to start my own movie studio, would you support me? Or would I be on my own?"

"I’m not opposed to the idea, but it would depend on your motives and plans."

"And I wouldn’t be able to use my usual persuasion tactics on you."

"Correct. Your cock sucking skills are unlikely to be any better than that of my girls, and you don’t have a magical pussy, no matter what your fans might believe."

She chuckled, "True. And with your ability to read my emotions, I would be left with only one choice, logic."

Evalyn shuddered. Jack’s calm, matter-of-fact tone made his words far more terrifying to her.

"To be clear, if you accept my offer of a soul bond, I’ll do my best to establish full control over your body and full access to your mind."

"I understand."

He looked at his girls. "Does anyone object?"

"You’ll fuck her if she asks you?" asked Madison.

"If her motivation is just desire, yes. If she thinks it will somehow give her influence over me, no."

He looked at each of his girls, and each nodded their assent.

He stood from his chair and beckoned to Evalyn. "Come here."
