Don't Fall For Me, CEO
Chapter 611: Overthinking It
CHAPTER 611: CHAPTER 611: OVERTHINKING IT
Esteria Century Mall sells high-end luxury goods and is considered the favorite post-meal leisure spot for the distinguished ladies and young heiresses of Esteria.
Susan Carter was holding her phone while following July Quinn.
"What are you watching?"
July Quinn’s chilly voice suddenly floated over from the front.
"’Country Love 5,’ it’s surprisingly entertaining the more I watch it."
Susan was still engrossed in the phone content, unaware of the tension until he walked too quickly and bumped into July Quinn.
He looked up to see July Quinn’s gaze cold as fresh snow on a branch, gulped in nervousness, and quickly put away his phone.
"If we’re not allowed to play on our phones, then I won’t. Why are you staring at me like that? It’s quite scary."
Compared to always getting into verbal sparring matches with July Quinn and ending up getting beaten, Susan Carter now preferred to admit defeat before getting hit.
Anyway, he couldn’t beat this woman, so why seek trouble every day?
Seeing Susan Carter admit defeat, July Quinn let go of the idea of killing him and continued moving forward.
Susan couldn’t gauge what July Quinn was thinking, so he just followed closely behind, "Dad, why are we here?"
"Shopping for clothes, isn’t it almost winter?"
July Quinn’s gaze swept over the various colorful clothes, settling on the window display of couple’s coats.
"Shopping for clothes? That’s fine, but what should I do if I don’t have money?"
Susan Carter noticed July Quinn’s gaze on the couple’s outfits, and his ears inexplicably turned red.
It seemed July Quinn wanted to buy clothes for him, and it was couple’s wear.
Could it be that she was starting to like him?
But it’s human nature, after all, he’s so handsome and tall.
Looking at the men around July Quinn, besides Kyle Keaton and that guy who delivered soup, few could compare to him.
It would be hard for July Quinn not to be attracted to him, Susan Carter.
But if July Quinn confessed to him, should he accept?
Susan was in a dilemma.
Before he reached a conclusion, he heard July Quinn say, "Fool! If you don’t have money, just watch; I’m buying for myself."
Susan: "..."
He overthought it.
July Quinn, this wicked woman, couldn’t possibly like anyone other than herself.
July Quinn, unaware of the rollercoaster in Susan’s heart, had already entered the boutique, asking the staff to take down the coat from the window for her to try on.
"This coat seems tailored for you. It fits perfectly from every angle. You’re truly a natural clothes model."
Sales assistant Margaret looked at July Quinn wearing the red-blue design coat and couldn’t help but praise.
Though she often used such flattery on other customers, this time it was genuinely heartfelt.
Because this woman was truly beautiful, and matched this outfit perfectly, rather than the outfit enhancing her, it was the person enhancing the outfit; she was flawless everywhere.
Another sales assistant, Kiki, also joined in, exclaiming, "Really stunning, she’s truly the best person I’ve seen to wear this coat."
This striking color contrast was inherently difficult to pull off.
But on July Quinn, it seemed as though designed specifically for her, exquisite to the extreme.
However, the chorus of exclamations attracted the attention of other customers in the store.
Coincidentally, Bianca White was also trying on clothes in the same store.
Hearing the continuous exclamations, she naturally followed the gaze of the crowd and saw July Quinn.
Then, she did something quite unexpected.
"Have her take off the coat she’s wearing; I want to try it on."
