Don't Fall For Me, CEO
Chapter 99: Moral Constraints
CHAPTER 99: CHAPTER 99: MORAL CONSTRAINTS
"There’s no rush on the marriage. You’re still young. Besides, I can’t believe there’s no one better than that Keaton guy in all of Westmarch. The key now is to help your dad first secure a collaboration with Regalscape Group."
Amanda Ford was adept at weighing benefits, a quality that Charles Quinn appreciated.
"But now we’re on such bad terms with July. She must have spoken ill of us to President Keaton, so how could he possibly cooperate with us?"
Nina Quinn never missed a chance to bad-mouth July Quinn in front of their parents to elevate herself.
"It’s actually quite simple. There’s nothing in Aphelion that can’t be settled over a dinner table." Amanda Ford smiled mysteriously.
"The problem is, how do we get them to come to our dinner table?" Charles Quinn frowned.
The last time at The Continental Hotel, they had badmouthed Kyle Keaton extensively.
Now, getting him to come over for a family dinner seemed as difficult as climbing to the heavens.
"Next week Nina’s grandparents are visiting Westmarch. We can use the pretext of a family reunion dinner. I refuse to believe they wouldn’t come back out of moral obligation."
Amanda Ford spoke animatedly.
"That’s a good idea." Charles Quinn was full of praise.
Only Nina Quinn asked, "Why are Grandma and Grandpa suddenly coming to Westmarch?"
In fact, Nina didn’t have a great impression of her grandparents.
Even though they were quite fond of her, always secretly buying her many snacks behind July Quinn’s back.
Because in Nina’s memory, her grandparents were rural farmers, with worn-out clothes and crude manners.
So, she never liked to associate with them much.
Even when they occasionally took her out shopping and she ran into classmates or friends, she would only introduce them as new household help she was showing around.
Thankfully, they didn’t visit Westmarch often.
The last time they came to visit the family in Westmarch was three years ago.
"They came here seeking medical treatment," Amanda Ford replied.
Charles Quinn instinctively asked, "Is Dad’s headache not improving?"
"No, basically all the doctors in the countryside have been consulted, but to no avail. So they came to Westmarch to see if they could stay with us for a while."
Charles Quinn had nothing more to say, clearly not welcoming their visit.
Nina frowned but didn’t speak further.
Actually, she’d rather her grandparents be kind to July Quinn instead of her.
That way, she wouldn’t feel embarrassed.
The thought of them staying in the house for an extended period frustrated Nina even more.
But in front of her parents, she didn’t dare express it.

Meanwhile, July Quinn and Kyle Keaton returned to the small apartment.
At this moment, the precious flower, which bore a connection to July’s life, lay quietly in her hand.
Her previous suspicion was right; Kyle Keaton had indeed stored the flower in a safety deposit box at Maplewood Bank.
Yet, without her risking herself to steal it, he gifted it to her directly.
It seemed that something worth millions was hardly different from a ten-dollar rose used to please women.
Kyle Keaton pulled off his tie and tossed it casually onto the sofa.
Turning around, he frowned when he saw July gazing blankly at the precious flower.
"Is this flower that great?"
Since holding the flower, her smile hadn’t faded.
"Of course."
With limited life, the prospect of extending it through the flower was surely appealing.
July was about to reach out to touch the flower enclosed in its special frozen container.
But just then, Kyle Keaton wrapped his arm around her waist.
Soon, she found herself pulled into Kyle Keaton’s embrace.
The man looked down at her with cold eyes.
"Better than me?"
