CHAPTER 31: CHAPTER 29 ANNIHILATION

If it were just a normal wolf pack, Austin alone would be enough to massacre hundreds of wolves, without the slightest worry that ordinary wolves in a chaotic battle could harm him. The blood wolf leader let out a low growl but was not further provoked by the blue young dragon, standing still in place to once again gather its talent magic, ignoring the changes above.

Seeing the blood wolf leader beneath ignoring the changes above and refocusing its magic power, Austin’s mouth curled into a grim smile.

What the blood wolf leader hadn’t noticed was that under the cover of the dust from the falling rocks, the magic power within the blue young dragon’s body began to circulate. At some point, the moisture in the air began to rise, and amidst the large rocks falling, an occasional electrical spark flashed in the air. The atmosphere began to ionize with the circulation of magic power, silently gathering terrifying power.

At that moment, the blood wolf leader remained unmoving, threads of magic power extended from its body, accumulating in front of it into a mass of flame emitting intense heat, continuously growing larger, as though even the air was burning and warping.

As a result of the blood wolf leader’s Fireball Talent Technique, an opening had been created in the beastman ranks, and under the assault of the blood wolf pack, they were already on the verge of collapse, barely maintaining their stand.

If the blood wolf leader’s talent magic were to strike the already crumbling beastman formation again, the next moment their ranks would be breached entirely, drowning in the blood wolves!

Just as the flames gathered before the blood wolf leader, the forming flame ball was about to be launched,

A thunderclap suddenly resounded throughout the canyon in what seemed like a clear sky, an enormous peal of thunder echoing mightily.

The blood wolf leader immediately sensed an imminent threat of disaster enveloping it, as if it were about to face the abyss of death, causing its fur to stand on end.

However, before it could react, a thick bolt of lightning suddenly descended from the sky, tearing the air and striking its body instantly.

The thunderbolt hit the blood wolf leader squarely, electric arcs scattering in every direction, and the surrounding blood wolf elite were struck by the lightning, turning into charred remains.

Struck directly by the thunderbolt, the blood wolf leader was overwhelmed by a terrifying electric current, its entire body engulfed in flames, and the fireball it had been about to launch lost control and exploded violently.

Without their leader, and pushed to the edge of desperation, the remaining blood wolves went berserk, frenziedly attacking Austin and the beastman army.

Yet the combined strength of the two forces was beyond what they could challenge.

Soon, the entire blood wolf pack was completely wiped out, without a single one left alive.

"What a pity. If they were intelligent beings capable of communication, there might have been a chance to subdue them. But since they’re just beasts, it’s not worth it."

Within the canyon, with wolf corpses scattered everywhere, the beastmen began to clear the battlefield. Austin stood in the center, licking the blood off his claws, gazing at the bloody scene before him with a slight sigh.

Until the very last moment, these blood wolves were fiercely attacking and biting, rendering any attempt at communication or subjugation impossible, forcing him to slaughter them all.

"There should be wolf pups in the wolf’s nest, so perhaps raising these magic beasts isn’t just a daydream."
