CHAPTER 133 - GOD SAYS YOU ARE INNOCENT, I SAY YOU ARE GUILTY! [BONUS CHAPTER 3/4]

Leone and Chelsea were so exhausted they couldn't move at all. Waking up early in the morning, Ren was already gone. The two exchanged glances.

Leone struggled to turn over, complaining speechlessly, "Quickly change back. It's so awkward having Mine's face staring at me."

"Oh, oh." Chelsea canceled the effect of Gaia's Foundation and returned to her original form.

"You really know how to play. If Mine found out, she'd kill you, wouldn't she?"

Chelsea rolled her eyes and muttered, "If I don't say anything and you don't say anything, how would Mine know? It's you, though, you really know how to play~. Does it hurt here?" Chelsea slapped Leone's soft flesh hard.

"Hiss! Gently!" Leone gasped, in unbearable pain.

"Tsk tsk tsk, weren't you quite boastful before?"

Leone's face flushed. "Ren is too amazing." Her eyes darted around. "Next time, let's bring Sheele along?" Sheele is so gentle and kind, she'd surely be easy to trick... easy to persuade to help them, right?

"Mine would really use her Roman Artillery to shoot us if she found out, wouldn't she?" Chelsea shrank back.

Leone winked. "Didn't you say it yourself? If you don't say it, and I don't say it, who would know?"

Their secret plot went unnoticed. Ren took the day off today and came to Shinobu Kocho's place. The room door was open, directly facing the wisteria flower forest. The wind gently blew through the drooping flower branches. The flower forest undulated like a purple ocean, gently swaying and exuding a refreshing floral scent.

Before a small, simple tea table, Ren sat down casually, with Shinobu Kocho on his left and Kanae on his right. The beautiful floral scent and scenery, combined with the beautiful butterfly maidens, made drinking tea a great pleasure.

Shinobu Kocho's slender, fair hands gracefully held up the teacup, serving Ren. He took a small sip of tea. "The tea is delicious."

Kanae immediately wiped Ren's lips. Shinobu Kocho gently put down the teacup, a bright smile on her face. "As long as Ren likes it."

Shinobu Kocho refilled Ren's tea again. She was about to pick it up when Ren stopped her. He said with a smile, "This time, I want to try imported tea."

"Imported tea?" Shinobu Kocho had never heard of imported tea.

"Let me do it instead," Kanae smiled faintly, pursing her lips. She picked up the teacup, slightly raised her fair, snowy neck, and drank the tea. After putting down the teacup, she skillfully leaned in and kissed Ren's lips.

"Gulp!" Shinobu Kocho suddenly realized—so this was imported tea! Everything was as the name implied.

"Ren!" an excited voice came.

Kanae proactively pulled away. Under the sunlight, a pink elf passed through the wisteria flower forest, burst into the room, and directly leaped into Ren's embrace. Fortunately, Ren's physique was strong, and he steadily caught her.

"Ren, I missed you so much!" Mitsuri clung to Ren, gently sniffing his scent.

"I missed you too, Mitsuri."

Mitsuri proactively lifted her head. He naturally wouldn't evade. "Mmm!" The excited Mitsuri had already ignored Shinobu and Kanae beside her, becoming lost in passionate abandon. There was no sign of stopping.

Shinobu and Kanae exchanged glances. They both stood up and walked to the door, closing the double doors.

*****

Kanao walked through the wisteria flower forest. She reached the Butterfly Mansion, her purple eyes fixed on the door. Clear sounds reached her ears. Her eyes rippled slightly. She slowly sat down on the steps in front of the door. A purple butterfly fluttered by. She reached out her hand, and the butterfly landed on her fingertip, quietly listening to the sounds of joy from within.

*****

Ren examined Mitsuri's cultivation results. She truly hadn't disappointed him. Her muscle density was eight times that of an ordinary person. Mitsuri was naturally suited for learning physical techniques. She had cultivated both Six Styles and Haki to a lv3 level through her tenacious willpower. One should know that Haruno and the others relied on becoming Redemption Angels or Sin Apostles to rapidly improve in a certain area. Mitsuri, however, relied purely on her persistence and effort.

This time, Ren also transformed Shinobu Kocho and Mitsuri into Angels. This large area of the Butterfly Mansion already belonged to Shinobu Kocho. Mitsuri also moved here to live. There were no people around, so they could cultivate freely, unlike living in a big city where it was hard to even find a place to cultivate.

During their interaction, Ren examined Mitsuri's learning progress. The interaction ended. Ren embraced them. They chatted about what had happened on their side. From Shinobu Kocho, he learned about the current situation of the Demon Slayer Corps. First, the Butterfly Mansion here was given to Shinobu Kocho. Mitsuri, Kanao, Aoi Kanzaki, and the three little ones lived here. The Demon Slayer Corps had gradually been disbanded. Under Kagaya Ubuyashiki's operation, members were returning to society one by one.

Ren toyed with Yukino Shirako in his hand. "Kagaya Ubuyashiki's body is still okay?" he merely asked casually.

Shinobu Kocho, however, obediently opened her arms and showed a sweet smile. "The Master's body has been recovering little by little since Muzan's death, and his condition is gradually improving."

"There's such a thing?" Ren hadn't expected that. Could his illness truly be a curse? But to him, it was just an interesting tidbit, not worth too much concern.

*****

Just as they were about to continue talking, Ren heard a notification from the Chat Group. Opening the Chat Group, he saw Exu @ing him.

Exusiai: "Ren, Ren, I seem to have really run into a problem here."

Ren: "What problem?"

Exusiai: "A Catastrophe. A Catastrophe has appeared in Chernobog. Chernobog is no longer moving, and the Rhodes Island people and we are unexpectedly trapped in Chernobog."

Exusiai: "Well, I feel like I can withstand the Catastrophe. But listening to what you said before, I don't know if I should act."

Ren: "Let me do it."

Exusiai: "Okay, please hurry."

Ren: "Mm."

March 7th: "Remember to live stream!"

Ren patted Mitsuri's head, which was resting on his chest.

"Wuwu?" (What's wrong?)

"I have to leave for a bit."

"Wow, okay!" Mitsuri obediently let go and helped him clean up. Ren didn't put on clothes. A golden light flashed, and he was dressed in a blue tracksuit. With the power of wishes, changing clothes at any time was simple.

[Travel permission acquired!]

[Travel portal opened!]

"Ren, do you need me?" Kanae asked.

Ren looked relaxed. "No need, you rest well. I'll be back soon, and then we'll continue." A wormhole appeared, and Ren stepped into it without a word.

*****

Not long after, "Shinobu... outside the door..." Kanae heard movement and patted Shinobu's shoulder. Shinobu covered her body and walked out the door.

Chernobog, a mobile city belonging to the Ursus Empire on the Terra Continent, currently lay paralyzed in the desolate wilderness of bleached bones. Inside Chernobog, there were flames and ruins everywhere. The entire city had been completely occupied by the Reunion Movement. Destruction, burning, killing, and looting became the epitome of Chernobog. Bodies lay scattered, and blood and flesh splattered across the city. Some people were crying; some people were wailing. This city, which had experienced war and chaos, was in lament.

Above the already ruined city of Chernobog, there was a heavy, oppressive, dark cloud that weighed down on one's chest. Stormy, tornado-like vortices layered one upon another in the sky. Granular dust of Originium gathered around the spiraling dense clouds. Blinding golden lightning roared and exploded from the clouds. Something more despair-inducing than war and slaughter was gathering: the Catastrophe. A Catastrophe powerful enough to destroy a mobile city and bring ruin to people.

Dobermann gazed at the sky with a solemn expression. "Amiya, the Catastrophe is coming."

"Doctor, what should we do?" Nearl, with golden hair in a single ponytail and holding a shield, frowned as she looked at Amiya and the Doctor who had been brought out.

Dobermann was frustrated. "The Doctor has amnesia."

The Doctor, tightly wrapped in a hood, spoke in a low but steady voice: "I am very sorry."

Nearl was surprised and could only look at the rabbit-eared girl, Amiya, the leader of Rhodes Island.

Please give fresh flowers.

Amiya looked at Chernobog with compassion. The pain, irritability, and despair of the people within Chernobog surged into her mind. She wanted to help everyone, but now, they could barely protect themselves. The Reunion Movement's pursuit and the impending Catastrophe each were like a death warrant pressed against their foreheads.

"Have you made your decision? We have completed this order and will not continue to risk ourselves with you. We need to find a place to hide from the Catastrophe, and then we will evacuate Chernobog directly." The one speaking was Texas, a Lupo with wolf ears and a wolf tail. Following her were Exusiai and Croissant, a Forte bread-person.

"I also believe we can't worry about Chernobog now. The safety of our own people should be our top priority." Dobermann also agreed with Penguin Logistics's proposal.

"..." Although Amiya was young, she was still the leader. She wasn't foolish. She understood what kind of decisions to make at what time. Her choice would determine the lives of Rhodes Island personnel. She regained her leader's demeanor: "I understand. We will go to shelter now. Everything else will be decided after the Catastrophe passes."

*****

"Rhodes Island, where do you plan to run?"

"Watch out!" Croissant roared, rushing in front of Exu, slamming her shield heavily onto the ground. "Clang!" A heavy impact made Croissant's arm go numb. It was a nearly invisible crossbow bolt. Someone attacked.

From where the voice had just come, on top of a pile of rubble, a person stood holding a strangely shaped black staff. Their gray-white hair blew in the howling wind. The opponent didn't seem very old, but they made everyone from Rhodes Island and Penguin Logistics extremely wary. ACE, Nearl, and Croissant, the three shield-bearers, had already instinctively stepped forward to protect everyone. Because there was more than one person beside that white-haired youth. From his left and right rear, one after another, there were roughly humanoid figures, but their bodies were abnormally distorted and twisted, moving with a slight stiffness... monsters.

"Rhodes Island, Rhodes Island, ah, is that person the one who came out of the sarcophagus?" The youth squinted, his words sounding strangely obsessive and chaotic. "Hey, can you hand him over? I really want to have a good chat with this free person? Perhaps I envy his carefree nature, or his ability to not care about anything... Ugh, what an enviable life." Through the layers of humanoid monsters rushing towards him, his eyes were fixed on the hooded Doctor.

"The opponent's target is the Doctor! Protect the Doctor!" ACE said in a deep voice, shielding the Doctor. His thick body exuded a sense of security.

"Doctor? Sasha, do you know what that means?" The white-haired youth asked the air, puzzled.

"No, I don't know." The air gave him an answer. No, it was the air gradually revealing a human form. It was a person who had changed colors and was invisible. Green hair, a pale face, and the crossbow he held made Croissant's face serious. "That's the person who just attacked us!"

"Who exactly are you?" Texas's lightswords were already in position.

"Who are we?" The youth called Ino showed a nearly deranged expression at the corner of his mouth: "Let my flock tell you the answer!" His staff emitted a green light, and those humanoid monsters began to roar and charge at everyone.

Dobermann cracked her whip and shouted: "Everyone, prepare to defend!"

"They... are all humans!" Amiya's voice trembled in horror, her eyes filled with disbelief. "The painful emotions cannot dissipate... You turned them into monsters! You are desecrating life!" Amiya glared at Ino, tiny black lines flickering around her body.

"Life? What kind of life is life? The flock are just tools. How can they be life? My life should count as life, right? God said I am innocent." His linguistic logic was completely chaotic and broken, yet he clearly expressed that the flock were merely his tools.

"God said you are innocent, I say you are guilty." Two large hands gently rested on Ino and Sasha's shoulders.
