CHAPTER 251: WAITING

When everyone came out they suddenly remembered that no one would be here since the inheritance site was going to close almost a month later.

Lin Feng flew down along with the other protectors to the side of the cliff where they had landed previously.

Other Eastern Region cultivators were gathering on their side of the cliff too while those from the Southern Region went to the other side.

The situation was similar to how they had all gathered here at the start with only one glaring difference. There had been two thousand cultivators present here before entering and now around two hundred and fifty were left.

The most losses had occurred within the two top sects. Nobody would have believed it if they were told this before entering.

One of the protectors immediately took out a high-grade talisman. It was given by Yan Lihua just in case they were teleported far from the original location after exiting the dimension. It was a talisman which would inform her of their location. He immediately activated it and it flew away.

Even though they were the biggest group right now after the twenty-five of them joined with the rest of the surviving disciples and those who never entered inside the main trial due to fear and low cultivation realm, they were still far from the sect.

There were some devil powers near this mountain range and they might arrive earlier if they didn’t do anything.

Now that they had sent the information, elder Yan could easily teleport to the nearest city as early as possible and come quickly. They had no doubt that she would given the safety of junior brother Lin Hao.

Suddenly three female cultivators landed beside them and they were shocked and surprised seeing them. They were a little relieved too.

"Senior sister Pei and Lian, glad to see that you are alive..." One of the female protectors spoke while sighing. "You too sister Bai."

Bai Lian, Pei Lingxi and Lian Zhi nodded.

"The feelings are mutual. Thank the heavens that you weren’t present in the main ruin city," Lian Zhi spoke.

Both Pei Lingxi and Lian Zhi didn’t know what kind of enmity existed between Feng Tian and the two top sects but it still not good feeling to see their disciples die.

They didn’t blame Feng Tian though as they would have done the same to their enemies. Not to mention now Pei Lingxi herself was a spy in essence so she was an enemy of her own sect now.

"So did you guys come across that devil?" another disciple asked.

Pei Lingxi shook her head,"No....After entering the clouds nothing was visible. Someone definitely passed by us before we reached the top as even our speed decreased a lot near the top.

When we entered the ruin we came across chambers which were already conquered. That means someone had cleared them. We didn’t get anything and in the end we left the ruin.

The spirit qi on the mountain top was even denser so we just decided to cultivate there. As we knew that once the inheritance was taken by someone the tests would be over so we wouldn’t be in danger "

They had already decided what to tell others. As for the treasures, for the time being they had given all of them to Bai Lian just in case elder Yan decided to check their storage rings.

Since it was a request from them they didn’t ask Bai Lian to take an oath but they had a feeling that she wouldn’t go back on her words as she told them that they could take them whenever they wanted.

The disciples nodded in understanding and the woman spoke, "It’s good that you guys left the ruin. Who knows if by chance you crossed that devil’s path... anyway we have sent a signal to elder Yan. She should be coming soon."

"Let’s wait then " As Pei Lingxi spoke her eyes went to the handsome disciple standing between the protectors.

She had seen Lin Hao various times but never interacted with him. He was a renowned genius in alchemy inside the sect and was said to be highly protected by the sect.

Seeing these twenty-four protectors it was indeed the truth. Although it wasn’t mentioned most of them had assumed that he also had some kind of special constitution given how much attention the sect had put on him.

"Sister Bai..." One of the two women in the group spoke while bowing.

Bai Lian nodded seeing her clan mates,"Have you sent the signal?" It seemed some of them didn’t make it alive.

"Yes we did," the woman nodded.

Bai Lian nodded again. "I see " She turned towards Pei Lingxi and Lian Zhi, "I will take my leave sister Pei and sister Lian. Take care "

Pei Lingxi and Lian Zhi nodded. "We will,You should take care too sister Bai."

Bai Lian left with her clan mates and Lin Feng had to say that all this time she had just looked at him once. It was a rare occurrence.

Gao Ling was happy seeing Lin Hao but looking at only eighty one disciples she frowned heavily. "Where are the others?" She had already assumed the worst.
