The leader watched as the circle beneath his feet vibrated and his surroundings changed. "Looks like I was wrong; I didn't need to wait for the others."

There were altars, each with one bottle of blood on top. Symbols hovered above the altars—one had white fangs, another had wings, and the last had black horns. The leader walked toward the one with black horns and stepped forward, and then a golden barrier closed the entrance behind him.

"Looks like I was right on time," the leader mumbled as he looked at the new duo that appeared. The woman was glaring at him with a cold and murderous aura. He didn't pay much attention to her and instead looked at the man beside her with squinting eyes.

The golden shimmer rippled when the woman launched another attack, but nothing happened as the barrier absorbed it effortlessly, and the he acknowledged the woman.

"It's been some time, Princess," the leader said with a smile on his face.
