Duel in a Sword & Magic World: Girls Spirit Duelist
Chapter 117: DSMW [117]
"Wait... when she said both of us together, does that mean…"
Aisha's ahoge spun with trembling excitement as her gaze turned toward Miles, currently occupying Irena's body.
'Am I about to team up with Mr. Miles for a Tag Duel?! What kind of dream come true is this?!'
She couldn't control her emotions. Even knowing this was a dangerous Shadow Game, the joy of fighting alongside Miles overwhelmed everything.
Meanwhile, Miles used Irena's beautiful features to match the Millennium Ring's arrogance with an equally smug expression.
"A 2v1 Shadow Game? I've lived sixteen years and never seen anyone as cocky as you."
"Sixteen, huh? Same age as me. I suppose I can consider you a pretty boy."
Unfortunately, that handsome boy now existed only as a soul.
"Cocky? Of course I am. I have the power to back it up!"
The white-haired girl with the Millennium Ring strapped both Spirit Eyes to her arms, entering Duel mode. Her two Decks began to blend as she shuffled, and the raw power of the Sacred Beasts surged like a monarch over this Shadow Game arena.
"What kind of monster's presence is this..."
Even Kaima, watching from outside the darkness, could feel the oppressive aura… one that surpassed even Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
"Enough talk. Let's Duel!"
The Millennium Ring locked her Deck into her Spirit Eyes and issued the challenge.
"You'll pay for your arrogance, Millennium Ring!"
Ready to Duel, Miles flipped open Irena's witch robe and reached toward her inner thigh.
Soft. Silky. Easily top-tier.
Irena yelled, "What exactly are you doing, Miles?! Are you using my body to grope me?! I can't even tell if this counts as harassment anymore!"
"No, no! I'm looking for your Deck!"
Having gotten used to short-skirted Duelist girls hiding Decks on their legs, Miles assumed Irena followed the same trend.
However, after thoroughly patting both of her pale thighs, he came up empty.
"You're thinking of that silly Fusion Academy girl trend, right? Unfortunately, witches have no use for that. Repeat after me—'Alohomora'!"
"Alohomora!"
Despite sounding complicated, casting it with Irena's body felt natural to Miles—probably part of her genetic muscle memory. The spell activated, and a ten-centimeter-diameter storage field appeared in front of him, holding her Deck.
Irena said, "Remember, witches prefer hiding their Decks in secret places, not flashy accessories."
Even though Spirit Continent rules prevented Deck loss, high-level mages like Irena were excessively cautious—a fact that surprised Miles.
He retrieved her Deck and, having learned his lesson from last time, examined it thoroughly before the Duel. After all, he didn't want a repeat of the time he subbed in for Irene, only to find her HERO Deck lacked Fusion support.
"This is... a Black Magic Ritual Deck?"
It was Miles' first time using a Deck focused on Ritual Summons.
It included both Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl, along with a significant number of Ritual Monsters.
"Alright. I got it!"
It only took 30 seconds for Miles to fully understand Irena's build.
Irena was dumbfounded, "Eh? That's it? Isn't that a bit too fast? At least pretend to respect my Deck."
"It's enough. And besides, I once learned Dark Magician strategy directly from the strongest Duelist of all."
"You learned from the strongest Duelist... huh. Didn't think you were such an interesting guy. I love people with stories."
"Much obliged, senpai!"
After loading the Deck into her Spirit Eyes, Miles turned his focus to Aisha.
She was already geared up and ready to fight, her eager eyes clearly begging for praise.
In the past, Miles might've been nervous about Aisha being forced into a Shadow Game. However, after his battle with the Pharaoh, and evolving through the duel against Dystopia the Despondent—It didn't matter if the Millennium Ring dragged her in out of arrogance or to exploit her without Miles' help.
All he could say was—bad call, you rusty trinket.
"Aisha, let's win this Duel together!"
"Yes, Mr. Miles! I'll give it everything I've got!"
"Duel!"

"Since this will be the final Duel of your lives, I'll take the first turn."
Both Spirit Eyes on her arms lit up simultaneously—she had first turn priority.
"I set 3 Spell Cards!"
Three back rows. And she even specified they were Spells.
"Why even tell us they're Spells? Doesn't that just give everything away?"
Aisha's ahoge bent into a question-mark shape, perfectly mimicking Mokey Mokey's.
But Miles' expression turned grim.
Irena's eyes snapped open as she realized, "That setup—Miles, watch out!"
"I know!" he glared at the Millennium Ring. "You drew that thing on turn one? I bet you didn't even shuffle!"
"Hehehehahaha! Isn't that what you call the bond between Duelist and Deck?"
As her maniacal laughter echoed, the sky above the arena turned pitch-black. Divine thunder shook the ground.
"I Tribute my 3 Spell Cards on the field!"
The cards she'd just set erupted into black light, shooting upward.
"Descend, thunder of the Sacred Beasts that scorches the earth—Special Summon, Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder!"
