Noah Ross looked up at Bella Woods with surprise: “Are you serious?”

Bella Woods glanced at Calvin Marshall: “Give him the information about those accusations that I’m a homewrecker.”

“No, it’s not… this…” Calvin Marshall was a bit dumbfounded by the word ‘kidnapped’ and couldn’t quite respond.

“I just want her to clear my name—that it’s just slander,” Bella Woods stated firmly.

Seeing Bella Woods’ determined and calm expression, Calvin Marshall chose to believe her, dispelling his previous worries.

Calvin Marshall handed the information to Noah Ross.

The one who falsely accused Bella Woods was a senior named Lily Hughes. Her boyfriend is her classmate, and they’ve been together since high school.

Both of them come from a county-level city under Peace City and are studying on scholarships.

“When I got the information, I specifically inquired with their classmates. It was said that they usually just attend classes, work part-time, and hang out at the library. “I’ll send you the address by tomorrow afternoon. Just bring them there,” Noah Ross replied with a definite plan.

“Thank you.” Bella Woods stood up and shook hands with Noah Ross.

When Bella Woods and Calvin Marshall left the building, the sky had already darkened.

The city lights had just begun to shine.

“Going to have dinner at the Woods Family? We didn’t eat there last time…” Bella Woods was about to invite Calvin Marshall but reconsidered, “We probably won’t eat there this time either.”

Calvin Marshall was puzzled.

“Let’s go, grab something to eat first, then head back.” Bella Woods decided.

When he heard Bella Woods coming back, the man slightly raised his head, a smile curling his lips: “You’re back.”

“Come over here,” Ashton Marshall called out.

Bella Woods walked slowly, and Calvin Marshall was unsure of what was happening.

Her first thought was whether Ashton Marshall and Bella Woods’ relationship had been revealed.

She almost instinctively hid behind Bella Woods.

“Oh, Bella, Third Young Master has called you. Why are you dawdling?” Jade Patel could not stand Bella Woods’ hesitance.

She stood up and walked over to pull Bella Woods along.

“Sixth Miss is here too.” Jade Patel greeted Calvin Marshall sycophantically.

Calvin Marshall just nodded slightly.

As Jade Patel pulled Bella Woods, Bella Woods hurriedly dragged Calvin Marshall along.

Bella Woods had Calvin Marshall sit beside Ashton Marshall, and then she sat next to Calvin Marshall.

With that gesture, Calvin Marshall instantly understood that today’s matter was unrelated to revealing Ashton Marshall and Bella Woods’ relationship—it must be something else.

While Bella Woods was restrained from speaking, Calvin Marshall spoke: “Third Brother, what’s going on?”

Ashton Marshall’s expression was indifferent. Though he appeared to be looking at Calvin Marshall, his gaze swept past her towards Bella Woods.

“I heard you say Bella Woods’ sister encountered a bit of trouble, so I came to handle it,” Ashton Marshall explained.

Ron Woods hurriedly said, “Bella is grateful for Sixth Miss’s favor, and being friends with her shows she’s capable. She’s just immature and always troubling Sixth Miss.”

“I’m her best friend. If she tells me she has a problem, I’m willing to help her solve it, so it’s no bother,” Calvin Marshall supported Bella Woods.

“My family is also willing to resolve any issues for Bella Woods, but only for her. Even if it’s the Woods Family, anything she asks will be resolved, but if she doesn’t ask, I won’t intervene.”

Bella Woods explained, “My sister was marked with a price by our parents to Elder Thompson, but he’s a pervert. Third Young Master gave her a choice to either stay with Elder Thompson or go abroad.”

“They really dare to? That Elder Thompson is notorious for preying on young women!” Calvin Marshall’s eyes widened, looking at the Woods Family parents with a different perspective.

Though the Marshall Family’s power struggle is intense, leading to all sorts of compromising things happening.

Calvin Marshall’s parents, with the least resources, led the most comfortable lives because they valued the growth of her and her brother and family feelings above all, hence giving up the competition.

“Third Young Master, may I choose something else?” Rose Woods suddenly seemed to make a decision, looking at Ashton Marshall.

Ashton Marshall raised an eyebrow: “Another choice?”

“I want Elder Thompson’s son to marry me!” Rose Woods stated, “Elder Thompson has an eldest son who hasn’t married yet, and most of the power in the Thompson Family is currently held by him.”

When she finished speaking, the ambition in Rose Woods’ eyes wasn’t hidden.

She’s not just aiming to marry the Thompson Family’s eldest son; she wants the entire Thompson Family!
